Create My Kingdom: Chapter 5

Being the town's blacksmith was a job that I held a lot of pride in. The only thing that brings me more pride and joy would be the two loves of my life. My darling wife Kassandra, and my beautiful baby boy Samuel. When my wife told me that I was going to be a father. A feeling that I couldn't contain was writing and burning in my chest. At that moment I swung my hammer harder. I made my objects with more fervent joy than before. I wanted to do better for my family. I needed to do better for my family.

My best friend in the whole world, Nanook, was also bringing me joyous news of his pregnancy with his wife. We felt unstoppable. Two new fathers, and he shared a similar experience with me of wanting to do better for his family. After a long hard year of working harder we finally rejoined our families together. Seeing young little Samuel tear down his crib in order to see my friend's only child brought a sense of joy to my heart yet again.

"Hey, maybe we really can join the two families together, huh Nanook?" I gave him a wry smile.

"Now watch that mouth of yours Sturn. She's but a babe yet. Maybe when they're older we can retouch on the subject." He gave another wry smile back.

After a joyous night hanging out with Nanook and his wife. The two kids seemed to keep themselves occupied together. Every once in a while I could hear them babbling away to each other in baby talk. I've never seen little Sam looking so joyous and happy.

"Nanook, I understand you and I have been so busy of late, but looking at our beautiful children we should be seeing each other more often. Look at those joyous little faces!" He gestured waving at the children off playing by themselves.
