6 Chapter 0.06: Massacre

"Everyone, The Bandits' stronghold is many and not small but luckily it is mostly surrounded by mountains and Weakass Ultimate theory. We'll use this to our advantage and slowly weaken their forces slowly."

The Bandit seeing that their camps were being attacked started running as they heard the name of Ji Yan, the ruler of Jianghu. They also were drunk and didn't wish to engage in battle with so many Zenith masters and the Elemental realm master who was leading them but they made a very big mistake by running, Most of their horses were already killed so walking on foot made them a lot slower. Only the Leader and second in command of the camp were able to escape and since they separated it led to the weakening of their forces.
Elder Maya had already surrounded the Mountain and put an array and formation to trap them in an illusion if they ran in a side where they were already searched and failed to find Bandits bases. They had nowhere to run other than leading Byun Baek and Elder Maya to their other bases.
on the other hand, The fear was increasing in Bandits who were able to escape as they were running faster and faster. The fear of getting killed by those orthodox bastards and the fear of giving answers to the Bandit king was making them paranoid. They were wondering why the Government rather than the Murim Federation was after them and they wondered if the king was so ruthless at such a young age, then what would happen once he becomes a bit older.
The first group of Bandits finally reached the second post and informed them of the attack on the government and Murim warriors aiding them in the attack.
"There were many Zenith masters and the one Elemental realm master who was leading them. "
"You stupid bastard, Who made you the leader of Squad? They must be reaching here too. We need to escape the Jianghu and inform the bandit lord and other Posts leader to aid us in regaining Jianghu. We had just started getting our power in here."
"Sir but there seemed to be some sort of formation around us, We were unable to run and had no choice but to come here"
The second post-leader was Highest in rank and seniority in there so he quickly suppressed the fear in his heart but he knew that if they ran if, they would surely die. He prepared all the bandits to fight but he didn't expect that the forces that were after them were not just one.
The Elder Maya forces and all warriors of Byun Baek had regrouped together and had already silently approached them as they were speaking.
In the chaos of the Bandits, Elder Maya took the lead and rushed to the command of all forces and attacked them. This was the main force operating in Jianghu so there could be civilians in camp so they couldn't fire arrow.
Byun Baek cursed as he couldn't take the lead and after entering the battlefield, he started to slaughter bandits.
The second squad Leader after seeing the slaughter done in such a horrifying way by Elder Maya where she plucked out the eyes of all his subordinates and blood dripping in her hand but after seeing all forces of her eating the hearts of his squads, couldn't help but have thoughts of fleeing but couldn't do so after hearing the agony screams and pleas of his subordinate to take the leader.
He climbed on a Flying horse and charged toward Elder Maya, This was probably the biggest mistake of his life, He charged toward an enemy who he had no information on.
She was a demon who'd eat her own kin for more reward. If not for the charm and authority of Ji Yan and her sect interest. she wouldn't have even shown respect toward Ji Yan.
Seeing that the Bandit group leader was speeding up toward her, she was overjoyed.
'WHAM'
The sound of the sword and Elder Maya's Nails was so large that everyone stopped battling to see what happened including Byun Baek.
The axe flew away from the numb hands of the second squad Leader. Elder Maya raised her nails just as the horse turned around and cut off Pan Feng's legs and killed the horse.
He was screaming so much that she couldn't help but cut his tongue and use anti-sound formation on him.
She couldn't just kill him after displaying such courage.
"I wonder what should I do with you" Elder Maya with a cruel smile on her face, started breaking his fingers one by one, and after completing she gouged his eye out.
The second squad leader, Feng struggling to ask forgiveness without his tongue and Eye accepts his fate and removes all illusions of getting the mercy.
Everyone in the midst of the chaotic battlefield was disturbed by Elder Maya's ruthlessness and seeing their leader being defeated so terribly made them lose all hope.
A large part of the Bandits who survived in fear of being tortured by her committed mass suicides and the rest were killed by Byun Baek and his subordinate in the name of Ji Yan.
Elder Maya put up an Illusion formation to trap the Second squad Leader to repeat all the torture he suffered infinitely as they was running out of time.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Elder Maya looked at Feng with her chilling eyes. "Remember, Bandit, it was your choices that led you here.
It was a successful and easy massacre.
