Qin Yufeng sighed, smiling at her cheekily. "I am sorry for coming uninvited. But you see, Miss Chen, your maid let us in. We didn't break into your house. I promise!"

Bai Liyue stared at him with eyes narrowed. Knowing him well, she knew he must have done something to her maid. 

Feeling her gaze, Qin Yufeng coughed. "If you don't believe me, you can ask your maid."

Bai Liyue glanced at her poor trembling maid. 

Being put on the spot, the maid was extremely embarrassed. She wanted to tell the truth but suddenly, she felt somebody's dark eyes on her body. She looked up only to see Qin Yufeng's smiling eyes sending her a warning. Her face paled instantly and she nodded.

"Y-yes, yes... Miss Chen, Mr.Qin didn't force his way inside. I let them in thinking that you might know them...." she answered in her small squeaky voice. 

Bai Liyue snorted. "You're lying. He must've kept a gun on your head to let himself in. Am I right?"
