36 Chen Yuzhou's anger

"Who the heck is spreading this rubbish bullshit?" Chen Yuzhou gritted his teeth in anger. "I have abandoned my daughter? I have thrown her out of the Chen Mansion? When did this happen? Why don't I, as the father of Chen Ziyue doesn't know about this?"

Chen Yuzhou's temper rose as he glanced through the content. Each and every comment was disgusting and he couldn't help but sneer angrily. This was the very reason why he didn't want his elder daughter to step inside that dirty entertainment industry. This was the reason why he was stopping her from going there.

But no, his stubborn daughter wouldn't listen to him. She left the house on her own, took nothing with her, and had nothing to do with him. No matter how hard he tried to explain it to her, she wouldn't listen. Because of his daughter's stubborn nature, he purposely tried to not interfere in her life anymore.

He wanted to teach her the hard way. He wanted to see how far she could achieve on her own, without no help or connection from her family. The entertainment industry was a cruel place. Without power, fame, money, and connection, no one would be able to make it to the top without doing dirty deals and a lot of compromises.

There were only a few who could survive in that harsh environment while still being pure. When his daughter stepped inside that world, he thought that she would give up in just a few days. But, to his surprise, she managed to make it on her own. Chen Ziyue really surprised him. She managed to create a place for herself and achieve her dreams without his help.

But then, he also noticed all the weird things his daughter was doing. He was aware of her wild parties, her constant fights, and all the scandals surrounding her. Because of his daughter's wild personality, many people liked her but many hated her too. There was a mixed feeling about her among the netizens.

As her father, he never stepped into those situations to help her. He wanted his daughter to see and face the harsh reality of the world. He wanted her to know about the dirtiness in the entertainment industry. He wanted her wings to break so that she can come back home, willingly and obediently, and be his good old daughter.

He wanted his daughter to give up on that wildlife, be a good child and help him in managing his company just like his youngest daughter. However, his daughter surprised him there too. She was more stubborn and strong than he imagined her to be. Everything was going well in her life until those photos got leaked. When he was notified of the incident, it was too late. His daughter was already in the hospital, comatose.

The moment he saw his daughter on that bed, he lost his calm. He left the hospital immediately with his wife and tried to find the real truth behind the incident. He knew his daughter well. Chen Ziyue can be a bit of a wild child, a little stubborn, and easy to get angry, but she would never do that kind of a gross thing. He believed that someone was trying to frame her.

He began to search and investigate the incident but no matter what, he couldn't find anything. Everywhere he looked, all he saw was a dead end. For two years, he couldn't find anything and this made him realize one thing. Maybe, someone really didn't want him to find out about the truth of the matter. And, this person was stronger than him.

Who could it be?

He had no idea but he never gave up on hope.

Two years later, his daughter woke up. He wanted to go and visit her but he refrained from doing so. He wanted his daughter to come to him, and not the other way around. He was still angry with her for not listening to him, going against his word, leaving the house, and stepping inside the entertainment industry. That's why he never spoke for her publicly.

Looks like, he was wrong. Many people took his action in the wrong meaning. His silence was taken as a signal of him breaking his relations with his eldest daughter but this was not the case. Chen Yuzhou snorted and kept the phone aside.

"Ting Yun, post an official statement," he commanded.

Ting Yun nodded. "President, what should I post?"

"Tell the world that Chen Ziyue is still the eldest daughter of the Chen family and if they dare to speak any ill word against the Chen family or its members, then they will have to face our lawyers."

"Yes, President Chen." Ting Yun nodded.

This time, he knew that his President was extremely furious over this matter. No one knew this, but his President had been looking over his eldest daughter despite being angry at her for leaving the home and going against his word. Though the President always acted to not care about the Eldest Miss Chen, but he would secretly keep tabs over her.

"Ting Yun, when you post the official statement, make it vague." Chen Yuzhou reminded. "I don't want Chen Ziyue to think that I have forgiven her."

Hearing that, Ting Yun frowned. "But President, Eldest Miss has already lost her memory. She doesn't remember anything about her past. So, why... why don't you reconcile with her? I mean, it's this the best opportunity for her to leave that entertainment industry and be by your side."

Chen Yuzhou snorted and his face darkened at those words. "Humph! Even if that girl has lost her memory, she is still stubborn at heart. Why should I go to her? Shouldn't she come back to her family on her own? Why didn't she call me? Why didn't she take the initiative to approach me or anybody else in the family?"

Well, that's because you all are strangers to her, now. Ting Yun wanted to say but seeing the anger on his President's face, he kept his mouth shut. Anyways, he was just a mere assistant and he had no right to speak between the matter of the President and his family members.
