3 Rami Village

Vita blinked repeatedly before her eyes slowly changed back to normal, the silver shade fading to their normal crimson red.

She turned towards the butterfly and cutely put her finger on her lips, "Butter, if someone asked, me did nothing alright~?"

As much as she was happy about having this lovely butterfly to be by her side, Vita knew that she was going to be scolded as soon as she went back.

Yes, going back. Vita was now heading towards her village, the Rami Village.

The Rami village was one of the three main villages in this mystical forest. In fact, it was probably the biggest and the most important village between the others.

Simply, they had the most resources and the richest lands, they lived in the center of the forest and specialized in various researches to keep the forest alive and improve it if possible.

That eventually led to their current position, and their humble attitude was the secret technique they used in order to keep the forest as a peaceful and civil place.

Vita was adopted by the village's Chief after being found in the middle of nowhere, and the Chief treated her like his real daughter and doted on her endlessly.

As the village's Princess, Vita became the most valuable kid in the eyes of the adults, but it was not just because she was adopted by the Chief.

That all was due to her special ability which made her able to heal the injured, and gave her the ability to even raise the dead.

Such a strong ability was bound to be the end of her.

The Chief was afraid she would be exploited and hurt just because the people around her wanted to use her ability, and so he decided to keep it a secret.

Right a minute ago, she had used this ability to save Butter. She absolutely refused its death, and decided to act on her own.

As much as she was happy for the fact that Butter was by her side again, Vita did not want to get scolded for that.

Nearing the village, she turned to Butter again, "Of course, no one should know about the Forbidden Area too…"

After saying these words, Vita could feel her heart trembling unpleasantly. The memory of that serene god was so vivid that she could only press on her chest while wanting to forget all about him.

In addition, she realized how many bad things she had done today. She broke so many rules, using her power, going to the Forbidden Area, and even wandering far alone.

'Me gonna get scolded for sure…'

Feeling dejected, Vita's movements slowed down, making Butter glance at her confused.

The gaze of the butterfly seemed to silently urge her to move already as it did not want for them to be late, making Vita smile with amusement.

"Why are you acting like a nanny now? You don't even know where we are going, do you?"

Butter simply ignored the question and went ahead in the direction of the village, causing Vita to stare at its back blankly.

"Why does this butterfly know so much…?"

She mumbled before shaking her head and planning to forget it as she reached the village's entrance.

A humble-looking wooden arch was in front of her, and Vita touched the surface of it before chanting, "Ala Brima Sympo."

The surroundings vibrated with a soft noise, and Vita held the butterfly before stepping through the wooden arch.

The scene in front of Vita was her familiar warm home, the enchanted places that allowed Elves and Dark Elves to live in harmony while nestling within the natural blue and green lush of the forest.

The familiar scene of the Elves and Dark Elves interacting together, and seeing her friends and her beloved people living happily, made Vita finally able to calm her beating heart down.

'It's okay, me safe, that was nothing but a bad day…'

She reassured herself before skipping to the Chief and opening the door with a bang, "Me is back!"

The cozy, humble home made Vita smile broadly as she entered, she turned her head around and suddenly felt the back of her head aching .

"Ouchie!" Vita yelped softly in pain, feeling that someone just smacked her head.

"What the hell are you doing, lil gal?"

The voice made Vita forget all the pain, she subconsciously jumped towards the source, ending up in someone's warm arms.

"Nannyyyy~ Lil Vii is backkk!"

She cutely rubbed her face into the person's embrace, making her sigh with a mixture of helplessness and fondness.

This person was the nanny who had raised Vita and took good care of her after she was adopted.

If the Chief was like a dad to Vita, then she will consider the nanny to be her mom.

The nanny was an Elf, obvious by her long pointed ears. Along with that, she had short boyish brown hair, coupled with sapphire blue eyes.

Her body was curvy and despite her not having puffy muscles, her body still showed how well-trained she was.

"You are very late today, Vii, and why are you battered with injuries?"

"Umm…"

Vita, who forgot about her injuries until now as the adrenaline rush made her numb, whimpered softly before giving a strained smile.

The Nanny sighed softly before patting Vita's head gently, "Go to Aunt Meria yes? She shall help."

Vita nodded before skipping outside with the butterfly, and the Nanny watched silently, her gaze lingering on the butterfly until she was out of sight.

After making sure, she sighed before her smile vanished as she went inside and closed the door behind her and headed towards the Chief's office.

She knocked and waited for a few seconds before receiving an answer.

"You may enter."

The Nanny slowly opened the door and went inside, and facing the village's Chief, she bowed her head respectfully.

The Chief caressed his beard before looking at the Nanny and softly opening, "What is it, Rian?"

The Nanny, Rian, straightened her posture before speaking with a serious expression.

"The bird seems to be gaining so much freedom, Chief."
