Waking up from slumber..

As Dawn broke into her window.

Blinked two eyes.. which were just filled of dreams.

Ruby Ann was set to enter a phase of her life which was no lesser thrilling than a roller coaster ride. This was decided just a few days ago, when she had her Medical Seat selection scheduled.

Ruby Ann had reached the venue accompanied by her mother. A few minutes before her turn was to he announced, Ruby turned to her mother and held her hand tightly. She spoke in an amused tone, "Mom, I do not want to be a doctor anymore. I want to be a computer engineer. "

Her mother was shocked, as being a doctor was more than a dream for Ruby. what would make her decide not to be one. She spoke in a comforting tone, " Darling,it's been your dream since you were a child. why would you step away from it now?? Do not worry of any consequences, your mother will stand by you in every phase. Just go ahead. "

Ruby was adamant, "Mom I am just not feeling this right. I feel I would be better as an engineer. please trust my decisions and let's get going , let's wait for the technical seat selection process. "

After trying to convince Ruby for a long time her mother could not make her change her decision. They both returned home, to return the next day for the technical seat selection process. Ruby's mother was very worried with the sudden change in her daughter. She had no idea on what was going on in Ruby's mind.

On the other side Ruby was reminiscing the events if that day,in a few minutes she decided to let go of her dream for the sake of her parents.
