The first day

it is a shining day for Tanti. She just finished on the phone with her mother. she informed her about her new job in the biggest hospital in Seoul. She asked for a blessing from her mother on the phone. she can't believe that she manages to secure a contract as General surgeon in university medical centre. Han Kook group is the biggest group in South Korea who got their hand on car to aeroplane and university. their portfolio started back from after war and become one of the biggest group in South Korea. She also asked blessing from her grandmother yesterday for her first day. She feels so positive.

In the entrance of the Han Kook Medical University Hospital, Tanti Park step her first day as a resident in the hospital as General Surgeon. She proudly works as a resident after her intern in Min Hwa medical centre. She is born from two different nationalities of their parent. Her father is Korean and her mother is Indonesian. She moved to South Korea when she was 12 years old from Indonesia. Her father originally worked as one of a technician for a Korean company in Indonesia. Like the time when she is in high school, her father passed away and her mother decides to go back to Indonesia to leave with her family. Tanti stayed in Seoul and continue to pursue a career as a medical officer.

In the hospital, she holds her face high and walked inside the hospital. She got the tour of the hospital from the chief resident of the general surgeon. She got the spot after a really hard interview. She managed to become the only resident in General Surgery. Her chief resident even congratulates her to become one of the residents on board. She got her best friend who starts one year earlier, his name is Kim Jun Wan. He called her yesterday to prepare her for the first day. he joins into neuro department. Tanti and Jun Wan will meet up for lunch today.

She almost forgets her lunch meeting if Jun Wan didn't fetch her in the General surgery wards. Jun Wan started the program a year earlier than Tanti. However, their friendship started in high school. He brought her to the staff cafeteria and pay for their lunch. Tanti and Jun wan talked so closely to each other. They eat until Jun Wan phone started to ring. It means that it is the time for him to prep his surgery for his professor. He mentions there is a young professor started in his department. He is so strict and genius at the same time. His reputation preceding his name in the hospital. He is in his 28 years old and he got the title of professor from US John Hopkins hospital. Ahn Yeon Seok is a child prodigy. He could perform the operation by himself If needed. His background as the only Son from the Hankook group made him grow up on the battlefield. He managed the hospital operation while seeing the patient and emergency. However, no one knows about he holds the title of chairman of Han Kuk University medical Centre except his assistant and his director of the hospital. They got VIP floor which he managed personally and made the profit for pro bono case. He even got a special program for paying medical expenses and Scholarship for the needy people.

The only problem at the moment, his father lay in one of the VIP room due on the brain haemorrhage when he fell in the bathroom. Yeon Seok Only got father left in this world because his mother pass away When she gave birth to him. Yeon Seok father is up a straight businessman who holds his business ethic straight. He got operated by Yeon Seok senior professor in neurosurgeon department but they need to wait for a miracle.

The hospital situation and Han Kook group become vigilant for the whole situation. If their chairman passed away and it will make every group want to acquisition the Han Kook group or his ambitious aunt want to sit as chairman. The people loyal to chairman Ahn are waiting outside of his room. Yeon Seok is in meeting with his father assistant and lawyer.

"There is only one condition from Chairman Ahn… You will get all his share from the company and the whole Han Kook foundation for hospital and University if you managed to get married," The assistant gives out his boss signed paperwork to Yeon Seok.

"There is no time limit, right?" Yeon Seok read the document.

"If Chairman passes away then all his share in the company and the foundation will be on sale and the money goes charity. You will need to surrender your position as foundation chairman," The lawyer explained to Yeon Seok.

"So as long as my dad breathing in ventilator mean that I still have time. What kind of condition is this?" Yeon Seok throws the paper on the table.

"I am sorry… I almost forget. Your grandfather actually already has you to be engaged with his best friend daughter. This is their information as they were serving in the war together," The assistant gives him the folder.

"Do you want me to marry an old lady?" Yeon Seok gives them a sharp look.

Yeon Seok read all the information about Tanti Park. He saw her in the morning when the chief of resident took her for a tour of the hospital. Yeon Seok didn't have an option at the moment. He needs his hand on the foundation to help the good cause. He got this program of charity with social service for poor people who didn't get their hand into insurance and money to go to university. Yeon Seok couldn't let them suffer because of his father stupidity. he got this big sense of empathy and he decides to sacrifice his bachelor life. He stood up and walked out of the meeting room. He walked through to the GS (General surgery) ward to find Tanti.
