"What took you so long? I was getting cold," Remi purred, dressing in nothing but a lace thong and a devilish smile.

Walking into the office at Club Excalibur, Luke was angry, he was drunk, and now he was about to devour the vixen in front of him like a rabid wolf. When he slammed the door behind him, Remi's lustful eyes narrowed, as if daring him to come closer.

"So, lover. Having a bad night?"

"Shut up and get those panties off," Luke growled as he unfastened his belt

"No small talk? Don't I get dinner first?"

"I'll give you something to eat," he said, and he stepped forward, practically pushing her to her knees.

With a sly smile, Remi had him right where she wanted him. Where she always wanted him. Wrapping her lips around his thick member, Luke let out a grunt as if he'd never been touched by a woman before in his life. Gripping the raven beauty's hair in a fist, he guided her to just the right rhythm.

"Don't stop… Please Remi… Just like that. Your mouth feels so good…"

Pacing herself, she looked up at him with smiling eyes as she stoked him. When he looked down into her big brown eyes, he lost all control. Lifting her from the floor, Luke paced her, leaning over Roman's desk, almost making a statement that she was his and nothing her brother could do or say would change that.

Taking her from behind, Luke slammed into her with lustful need; she smiled from ear to ear in response. Each thrust of his hips claimed her, despite what would happen in the future. She was his at this moment, and that's all that mattered.

"That's it, baby. Use me. Take what's yours. Let it all go, Luke. Let me take care of you."

"Shut up, woman! Don't talk. When you talk it all goes wrong… Fuck, you feel so good," he grunted as he gripped her hips.

"Oh… Luke… Harder! I'm going to—"

"Ahhh! Fuck… I'm coming, Remi."

As she tightened around him, Luke felt every inch of her milking him to release. He knew he should have been more careful. Used protection or at least pulled out, but no. This is what he'd wanted for years. To be buried inside her, claiming what was his.

As he collapsed over her, he slowly released his grip on her. Glancing up, he found her smiling over her shoulder at him.

"That went much better than the last time we tried that."

Pulling away, Luke shook his head as he straighten his clothes. "You had to do it, didn't you? You had to ruin this and open your smart ass mouth."

"I'm not ruining anything. We both got off, and it felt amazing. Too bad you're getting married tomorrow or we could be doing this more often. Of course, there is the matter of a video, right? Or maybe the fact that Gambino's are almost broke? Don't worry. Your secret's safe with me."

"What?" he said, gulping down the sudden stress ball that rested in his chest. "What video."

"The one the snake you're marrying is holding over your head."

"How did you know about that?"

Pulling her dress back over her body, she stepped forward, placing a hand on his chest. "It's the one of us, isn't it? You're going along with her bullshit to protect me from Roman seeing the video and you being embraced."

"First of all, I don't care how that video makes me look. I was a stupid college kid back then."

"I can deal with my brother. We can go to him and settle this."

"Remi, stay out of it. I can handle this. I can't bring you into my drama."

"What about your money? Luke, what happened?"

"She… never mind. The fact is, I can't be with you. I can't. This was a drunken mistake."

Dropping her head, Remi's heart felt like it was breaking. The same way she'd felt since she discovered Luke was marrying another woman. "Was I a mistake?"

Seeing the hurt on her face, Luke cupped her chin, forcing her to lift her eyes to him. "Remi, you were the best thing that ever happened to me. Regardless, Roman will never allow up to be together. Not now that he's the Don. He hates me, and you should, too."

"I know you didn't kill Beau. Roman knows now, too. He's just stubborn. Let me help you out with this. We can go away. We can hide out until this is all over," she pleaded, grabbing at his shirt as if holding on to a lifeline. "Please, Luke."

"We can't. I'm sorry."

"Fine," she said, getting that deathly icy stare in her eyes she always did when she was shutting down. "Marry your whore. When you see you should have come to me for help, don't come crying. I won't be waiting for you."

"You shouldn't. You can do better than a low-life drug dealer. Just like Roman says; I'm a loser."

Glaring at him, she knew the truth. There wasn't much Remi didn't know. "Hum. Seems from my sources they say Luke Gambino is getting out of the drug trade. His last payment is due to the cartels, and he's getting out."

"How did you know that?"

Looking in the eyes of the woman that made his day worth waking up to, she just gave him a devilish smirk, as if to show she had his number pegged. He should have known better. Remi always had her way of finding things out.

"I told you. I know everything. You weren't paying for more drugs. You were paying to get out of their debt and out of the drug game because of the guilt you were carrying over my bother. Admit it, Luke. You're no different from my Roman. Both of you are trying to change the game. You're going legit and so is he. It's too bad you both can't get over your selfish pride to do something good for once as a team. We all know we can't just stop everything, but if you and Roman worked together, you could make the five families billions, without any more bloodshed."

"That will never happen," he grumbled.

"Well, then I guess you're not the man I thought you were." Heading to the door, Remi looked over her shoulder. "You know, it's too bad. You and I could have been a good team. Oh, and about Claudia. You're right. She was fucking around on you. Just not with my brother."

Watching her walk away, Luke felt sick. He just had sex on the night before his wedding and not with his fiancée. The woman walking out that door was his everything, and he'd never have her. Not so long as what was happening behind the scenes was going on.

As Remi walked out of the room, Luke went into a drunken rage. Grabbing the desk, he flipped it on its top, letting out a scream he had been holding inside for months. His pressure valve just blew and he couldn't take it anymore.

Rushing out of the room, the club security stood watching, yet did nothing as he traipsed down the hall. Passing by, with his middle finger in the air, he stumbled down the hall in a drunken stupor. It was clear Remi had called them off, or he'd be thrown out by now. But they didn't need to be. Luke didn't want to be there a second longer, thinking about what could have been with the woman who just walked out of his life, and not for the first time. He promised he had put her out of his life, but his lonely heart betrayed him one more time. He wouldn't let it happen again.

"Suck on it" he scowled as he staggered down the hall to the VIP exit while a bouncer rolled his eyes at his rambling.

He went straight to his limo, waving to the driver. "Get me out of here!"

"What about your party guests, sir?"

"Fuck um'. Those losers can find their own way home."
