Speech (II)

Hana stood in front of the microphone and was quiet for a while. People looked at the rather small figure standing there, and for some reason, it made them feel she was a young woman that was doing her best to fill the shoes of the Queen.

There already was that air that one felt warm to and instinctively respected.

There was a quiet strength that was subtle, yet, clear.

Taking a deep breath, Hana opened her small pink lips and started.

"It is true. I am nothing like Queen Mother. She is willing to do anything, and everything, for the people."

"Even sacrificing her own children's happiness, so long as the People's interests are protected. It is but our duty, as the royal family."

Although the words sounded a bit off, no one could see any resentment or blame on Hana's face. She was saying the words as if it was a matter of fact, something that she had accepted and did not refute.
