1 The Rumors

The Winter holidays were over and the school is lively. Chu Xi as usual is walking along the lane to the class from the abandoned playground with earphones listening to the latest song released by "Stars in the Sky"(an idol group).

There are few students who occasionally sneaking glances towards her. The students are talking about something while pointing at her.

Chu Xi immediately understood they were gossiping about her. Shen Li came towards her and said something. She frowned and removed her earphones. Soon, she listened to the rumors floating around.

"Hey! did you hear Chu Xi hit goddess Fei's face", "Yes. We all know that she is jealous of goddess Fei, but hitting her is too much". "I wonder how the school hunk reacts after hearing this", "He protects her so much".

There are few girls who wanted to confront Chu Xi but they were stopped by an angry glare from Shen Li.

Shen Li turned around after glaring at them and said "Xixi, that bitch Zhou Fei is again causing trouble for you. This is not the first time. I don't know how she managed to injure her face but I saw her cheek swelled like it was hit by something. Hey, I am clearly talking about you and here you are standing like it has nothing to do with me" Chu Xi's voice is calm and gentle as spring.

Shen Li looked incredulously at Chu Xi and muttered to herself "Are you really fourteen years? How can you be so calm?". Suddenly the chattering people fell silent and there is eerie silence.

Chu Xi and Shen Li both turned around to see a handsome teenager between fourteen to fifteen years old whose face is seemed to be carved from jade and favored by gods.
