The Phone Call

That day when the two got close the call carried so many things , firstly they were just talking about the problems that Ismail was facing during his stay in the place , the food , the climate and every things , then when a random guy on the other side of the call, came talking to Ismail . Ismail requested Preethi to hold on in the line while he answered that guys question. the guy talking to Ismail was close to him so he addressed him as "Macha", .once after their conversation was over , he came back to Preethi and addressed her with the same word. 

Moments after calling her macha, he realized that he called her that in the flow and not with her consent, so, he apologized and said " it wasn't intentional , it came in the flow". She laughed at his innocence and said "you can just call me that, no issues, i like being addressed that way" after assuring about him with this, she sent him a screenshot of a chat which she shared with one of her friends from her degree college. That reassured him that , he can be close to her and be vulnerable in front of her.

this ice breaking moment made him feel easy to communicate anything and every thing with her, form his goods to bad , like and dislikes , his dreams , desires and most importantly problems.

that same night, past 10 o clock , he again called her. on receiving a call from him at that night made her nervous , several thoughts were flashing in her mind , yet she didn't consider those thoughts and answered his call.

she asked " what happened da ? Are you okay?"

for which he answered " Machaaaa....(with excitement) I just completed my previous semester with no backlogs, i just got my results"

she appreciated him and then the conversation continued for another 15 mins, he was expressing how he felt about clearing the exam with no backlogs and his friends reaction on his results and everything.

as the conversation kept going on with so much excitement, she started feeling drowsy and when it was almost about to be 10:15, he ended the call saying " macha, now you sleep da, i m coming tomorrow , well meet tomorrow".
