Nagumo's Fate

I followed Secretary-chan and President to the Student Council room. I knew what was the reason of the coming discussion, but I won't bulge.

Entering the room, Nagumo was already seated and was very nervous.

'There are no teachers? It's a surprise.'

I took a seat directly opposite to Nagumo to glare at him hard, really hard.

President took the main seat to act as our mediator.

"Sorry to call you here at this time Suzuki-san, but I believe we are facing a crisis."

"I don't think so."

He let out a sigh. He must be having a hard time.

"Did Nagumo really stalk you?"

"Yes."

"What proof do you have?"

Even though he was nervous, Nagumo seemed confident that I won't have any proof. Idiot.

"You think I will show you Nagumo, so that you can find a way out? If you want proof, I will show it to President Horikita. Even school authorities, but not you."

President Horikita interjected with a sound argument.

"You should show him as well since he is the direct party involved."

He carefully didn't use words like 'offender'. That means he won't take anyone's side. My respect for him increased slightly as most people tend to be in favour of girl's side most of the time. That's why rich guys have to deal with more trouble in that matter than us.

"You are right. Tachibana-chan, can you come with me to my room to bring my laptop?"

"Yeah."

"Hey, can't we just talk it out?"

Now Nagumo didn't even have the confidence he had before. Now even if I didn't provide any evidence, it was clear as day who was in the wrong. But I will cut all your escape roots Nagumo.

"No. If I don't provide the evidence now, I will be painted as the liar. If I accuse someone, I should have the evidence to back it up. President, can we go to get evidence?"

"Yes."

I exited the room with Secretary-chan. From the look of her face, she didn't like the situation.

It was already 11pm. It has been a really tiring day. First school, then interview, movie and now this. I am going to have a nice bath once this ends.

It was past curfew, so there were no students in the way.

Soon, we reached my room. Secretary-chan hasn't spoken a word till now. Well, I actually prefer it that way. I quickly unlocked my door, grabbed my laptop, and locked the door again.

"Let's go Tachibana-chan."

"Hmm."

We arrived at the Council room again, where the room was tense. Looks like Nagumo and President had an argument.

"Now I will present the evidence. Although I have been stalked 18 times as I said, I have recordings of only 15 instances, just after my concert which took place one week after the school started. But they should be enough to prove my point."

I played the first video, which was just the day after the concert. It was a rather long video in which I was shopping, of about 3 hours. But by skipping on timestamps made it simple.

Nagumo was careful enough that he pretended to be taking selfies when clicking pictures of me. After he followed me for about 2 and half hours, he finally made it seem like it was a coincidence that we met.

Nagumo gulped at the recording. Surely, he avoided being on the spotlight of school cameras, but I am a walking camera myself. My front, back, sides, I placed hidden cameras on me so that I have 360° recording of my surroundings. Even this moment is being recorded and going to my near-unlimited cloud storage. And he couldn't have done the stalking through anyone but himself. No one will be brave enough to do that if they fear getting caught.

"I have other recordings as well, like appearing on my dorm floor to see when I go outside, checking my routine, who I talked to outside my class, and many more.

Nagumo Miyabi, I am honestly impressed by your stalking skills. If it had been any other person, they wouldn't have noticed you at all. You seem really experienced."

"Nagumo, what is the meaning of this?"

President asked him with really cold voice showing his anger.

"W-what's wrong with being there? We have freedom to roam around as we like."

"I will answer your question Nagumo, with another question. What will be the outcome of your 'freedom to roam around as we like' if the person in question was someone like Prime Minister?"

"T-that-"

"I am given the most security by Japan just after the Prime Minister."

Silence descended the room.

"I will give you three choices.

First, I file a case against you. The result will be your indefinite suspension first, then expulsion and according to laws, atleast six months of prison once you turn 18. I personally will not like taking legal action against a fellow schoolmate.

Second, I will release these videos on YouTube. Even though there are certain restrictions regarding contact to outside world, it is fine as long as I don't answer any comments or directly talk to the audience. The result will be total destruction of whatever reputation you have left, not getting a job from Suzuki, Sony and Koenji's and whatever companies we have deals with, and getting hate of the world. But you will be able to land a job in some place or even start small business.

Third, convince me why should I forgive you. Though I will be announcing that to the whole school, since if they are kept in dark and I don't post the video without legitimate reason, I will be painted as the liar instead.

And in any of the three options, it will be confirmed that you stalked me to the whole school. Afterall, I can't just take back my words without legitimate reason without taking damage.

You have until 1 am. The video will be posted as per schedule automatically once the clock hits 1 am. Make your decision."

I don't know if there are laws against stalking in Japan and how they work, nor the security levels of people.
