Chapter 95

As they wrestled… a short distance away.

The group was walking up the mountain and nearing the peak. Many of them were out of breath and groaning in pain and exhaustion.

"Huff huff Can't we huff just give up?" Yukimura asked.

"No! Don't give in! We're almost there! You can do this!" Ishizaki cheered with a heavy sweat on his brow.

"G-guys… what the fuck is that?" One of the class B students asked.

"It's trees! The same as every other time you asked!" Tokito replied angrily.

"Is that… Syl? And… a-a-a-a-" The other class B student added on.

"And what?" Hashimoto asked curiously as the rest of the group caught up and turned the corner.

"A BEAR?!!?!" Yukimura called out in surprise.

Everyone snapped their heads in the direction everyone was pointing.

Only to see a bear standing on its hind legs standing 1 meter away from Syl who also had his hands up.

"Someone! Call a teacher! Get help!" Yukimura cried out.

Just then the bear fell to one knee.

"Does he really need help?" Ayanokoji asked.

Everyone was looking on in shock and horror as Syl was currently standing over a bear with torn clothes and a huge smile on his face.

They were terrified.

Syl chuckled and waved at everyone. "I finally found one to hunt!"

"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU HUNT!!" Yukimura screamed in anguish.

Syl chuckled and wiped his top lip with his finger. "Hehe. Is that right?" Then he turned back around as the bear was standing back up. "Hear that? Apparently we're doing this wrong."

The bear grunted and let out a low rumble.

Syl turned back to Yukimura. "I don't think he cares!"

Everyone was stunned at the sight in front of them.

Yukimura nearly ripped the hair out of his head in frustration.

Suddenly. "LOOK OUT! BEHIND YO-"

His voice trailed off as fear took over when he was the bear run at Syl.

Syl turned back to the bear and chopped it on the forehead. "It's rude to interrupt people!"

The bear held its forehead with a confused look on its face, almost like a lost puppy.

"This is insane! We're getting a teacher!" Hashimoto shouted and the group continued on to try and reach the top of the mountain and get a teacher.

Syl watched them all leave and shrugged.

Then he turned back to the bear.

"Now, let's get serious?"

The bear didn't respond as it roared and stood back up on two legs.

Syl laughed and ran in punching at the bears face.

The bear swiped its claw at Syl's body.

"Woah!" Syl called out as he backed away.

The bear swiped with his other claw before bringing both of them down on Syl like he was ripping a poster from a wall, in a combo attack.

Syl smiled as he dodged before he kicked the bear in the face.

The bear went flying and landed on the other side of the stream.

"Hahaha! That's 4!" Syl laughed as he had begun playing pong with himself, using the bear as a ball.

The bear got up and roared again. Charging on all fours at Syl.

Syl smiled and waved his hand.

The water rose up from the stream into chains of highly pressurized water.

The bear was instantly locked in place, trapped.

Syl smiled and started doing a take the L dance from the other side of the water.

The bear roared furiously and tried to break free of the chains again.

Syl laughed and flicked his wrist again, causing the spell to fall and the water to drench the bear.

"Alright, you little bastard. I'll come at you for real this time."

He flicked his other wrist and Dawn's ballad appeared in hand, glowing a brilliant shade of yellow.

Syl smiled maniacally and waved the blade through the air. "Usaginoashi, Dash."

The blade shifted into a new form, with a black tint surrounding the yellow blade and a keychain with pink bunny ears on the bottom of the handle.

Suddenly Syl disappeared and reappeared behind the bear, holding its head in hand.

Syl smiled. "Thanks, Usaginoashi."

His sword buzzed brightly. Almost like it was dancing.

"I told you, I don't need to sharpen you, you're always perfectly shaped!"

His sword buzzed angrily.

"What?! No! I promise I would! I just can't! It's physically impossible! You would cut anything I tried to use!"

Syl sighed and put his blade away.

He pouted. "Damn narcissistic sword, if you weren't such a cute girl… Hmph!"

Syl snapped his fingers and a fire formed, it quickly turned blue as it's heat rose and it roasted the bear's meat.

Syl put the head in his storage and cut off a toe of the bear with the claw intact.

He put it in his pocket and put the rest of the bear in his storage, only keeping a small piece of cooked bear meat.

He tasted it. "Not bad, but it needs salt and some other things. If I could just…" Syl rambled about how to cook the bear better for next time. "Then it would be perfect! Ah, wait! I have to go!"

Syl finally remembered the race he was a part of and took off towards the peak of the mountain.
