75 Chapter 75

After they finished their report Syl and Horikita left the room together.

They happened to pass by Ichinose who was on her way to meet her sensei.

"Yo! Ecchinose!"

"Hey! Syl! Sorry, what did you call me?"

Syl tilted his head. "Ichinose?"

"I think I'm losing it… "Ichinose mumbled.

Syl smiled. "So? Happy with the results?"

Ichinose smiled. "Yeah, thanks again."

Horikita perked her eyebrow. "For what?"

"Eh? Didn't Syl tell you?" Ichinose asked.

Syl looked at Ichinose and waved his hand in front of his neck back and forth.

Horikita turned to look at Syl. "No. He didn't tell me a thing."

"I feel like I said something I shouldn't have… I'll just leave." Ichinose tried to escape.

Horikita grabbed her shoulder. "I think you stay, and explain."

Ichinose started sweating.

Syl sighed. "You've doomed us. Ichynose, you've doomed us."

Ichinose gasped. "I knew it! You called me Ichynose!"

Horikita looked at both of them. "I don't care what he called you. Explain."

Ichinose looked down like she was ashamed of getting in trouble. "Yes, maam."

Syl nearly laughed but held it in. He mimicked Ichinose. "Yes madam."

Horikita sighed. "Just explain."

Syl sighed. "Well, it all started a few weeks ago. When my ange- that bitch made me go on a date with her."

"Eh?" Ichinose asked.

Syl smiled. "Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I'm not longer dating that bitch Kushida. Also we both got expelled, anyway, where was I?"

"Nononono! Wait! WHAT?!" Ichinose asked.

Syl sighed. "She blackmailed me into dating her, then I'm about to explain what happens next, keep up will you?"

Ichinose nodded blankly, still confused.

"I asked Kiyopon to call Ichinose to the theater and snuck away from the witch's watch. We met up and agreed to compete with one another in the exam. Then, we made a deal. I ask you for the test questions and give them to Ichinose, the real ones, not the ones Kushida tried to give her, then Ichinose makes the first 30 questions on every test super easy."

Horikita paused. "But you never asked me for the questions…"

"I stole them."

"Wha-"

"Anyway! Basically, she gets to win, we have no one expelled. It's a win-win."

Horikita frowned. "You're still hiding something."

"Aren't you going to talk abou-" Ichinose was interrupted by Syl's hand covering her mouth.

"HAHHAHA! I don't know what you're talking about." Syl said loudly.

Horikita sighed. "Whatever, what about Kushida? Didn't she betray the class?"

Syl nodded. "She did, that's how we both got perfect on the tests."

"Then how?"

"Basically, I told Ichinose that if Kushida asked to give her all the answers, but give her fake English ones. I also wrote the English test for them."

"Why? Just to get yourself expelled?" Horikita asked.

Syl shrugged. "It's a mystery~!"

Syl smiled and walked away. "Now then, I'm going home, my pink bunny suit awaits! I haven't had a peaceful night in over a month!"

He ran back to his room.

When he got there he sent a text.

[Thanks for all the help Kiyopon. We really are a dream team.]

He tossed his phone to the side and showered. When he came out he saw a notification and a message.

[You have received 1,000,000 private points]

That was the other part of his deal with Ichinose, she gets class points, he gets private points.

He also checked the message.

[No problem.]

Syl smiled as he lay down in bed.

"An oscar winning performance, no?"

The next day.

Syl was in his room sleeping in.

You don't have to do to school when you're expelled after all.

Suddenly his doorbell rang.

Who else would be here in the middle of a school day?

I'll give you one guess!

It was Sarah!

Just kidding… It was Kushida.

Syl thought for a moment before opening his door with the chain lock still on.

"Hey angel."

"Darling… are you ready to go? They said we have to leave within the next hour." Kushida said in a normal voice, like nothing was wrong.

Syl smiled. "Sure, you go on ahead, I'll catch back up."

He tried to close the door but Kushida put her foot in to stop it. "You're not going to run away right?"

Syl pretended to be shocked. "Me? From my angel? Never!"

He leaned in and kissed her cheek. "I'll be right out!"

He shut the door in the face of a confused Kushida.

"Hehe… heheheeh. Heheeheh… HEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHE!!" A maniacal giggle was heard from the other side of the door.

Eventually he heard her walk away. "What a psycho!" Syl said as he went back to bed.

2 Hours later.

Syl woke up and yawned.

He put his uniform on and went to class.

He walked into class right as lunch was ending.

Everyone in class was staring at him, confused.

"What's wrong?" Syl asked.

"Dude! Did you forget? You were like totally expelled yesterday!" Ike yelled.

Syl looked lost in thought. "Eh? I was? Nobody told me!"

He just sat down in his chair.

Horikita in front of him was the first to notice something. "Why is Kushida's desk gone, but Syl's isn't?"

Ayanokoji looked at her. "Maybe he wasn't expelled?"

Horikita shook her head. "Impossible. Chabashira said we needed 20 million points to save one student, she also said we couldn't use class points."

Ayanokoji looked forward. "Is that why Hirata is like that?"

Hirata was sitting in class like an emotionless puppet. He wouldn't even talk to Kei.

Horikita nodded. "I think so."

She turned to look back at Syl. "What did you do?"

"Who told you that?"

"You failed."

"Who said I was expelled though?"

"... I think Chabashira did."

Syl smirked. "I asked her too."

"Eh?"

Syl didn't respond.

"Hold on. Then why weren't you in class this morning?"

"Slept in."

"You never sleep in, on the island test you were the first one awake every morning."

Syl sighed and leaned in. "Do you want the class to explode?"

"What?"

"What do you think would have happened if Kushida knew I wasn't expelled? I had to act the part."

"You mean? You stayed home so she wouldn't expose everyone's secrets?"

Syl leaned back and nodded with his fingers interlocked behind his head. "Dumb bitch is probably still waiting for me on the bus home."

Horikita furrowed her brows. "That's actually… a good idea."

Syl nodded. "I know. I'm kinda a genius."

Horikita sighed. "But then why weren't you expelled?"

Syl chuckled.

Chabashira entered the room. "There is a new school rule. From today on, you can no longer buy protection from a specific type of expulsion."

Ike was confused. "Eh? What does that mean?"

Chabashira looked at a certain student. "For example, if you were to pay 2 million private points in advance to protect yourself from failing a certain subject on an exam."
