63 Chapter 63

Kushida raised her hand. "Me! I wanna go with Syl!"

Syl brought his hand to his face and started rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Why god? Do you really just hate me?"

Yes! Yes I do! We all want to see you suffer!

Ahem!

Anyway!

Syl moped over to where Kushida was and sighed. Then he put on a big smile. "Did it hurt?

Kushida looked confused. "What?"

Syl smiled and winked. "When you fell from heaven?"

Kushida looked stunned for a moment and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks.

She looked away. "L-let's get going."

"Sure!" Syl said with a smile, not noticing a thing.

He just wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible!

The two ran together perfectly. Kushida was pretty fit and Syl was easily able to perfectly match her pace. I mean this guy literally sees in slow motion, imagine trying to match a snails pace? See how easy that is?

Anyway!

They were running at Kushida's full speed and easily the first place group of two.

When they finished in first place Syl thought for a second.

His face showed the horror of his realization.

"I fucked up." He muttered.

Kushida looked at him? "Why? What did you do?"

"I shouldn't have done so well. Now we actually have to do it together. I'm so dumb."

He totally forgot to bomb it so that he would never have to run with Kushida again!

Syl cursed the heavens for his misfortune!

It's not misfortune! He's just an idiot!

Kushida pouted. "What's wrong with going together~?"

Syl sighed. "You. You're the problem."

Syl walked away.

He walked up to Ayanokoji. "When can we finally expel someone without it costing us 300 class points?"

Ayanokoji shrugged. "I don't know."

Syl sighed sadly. "I think it might be worth losing the 300 right now. She's driving me insane."

Ayanokoji nodded. "Let's just do it next chance we get."

Syl beamed. "You mean we're gonna team up? The dream team! Haha! That sounds like fun!"

"That would be interesting." Ayanokoji admit.

Syl laughed and walked away. "I can't wait!"

2 Weeks later.

The sports festival was finally kicking off.

The first event was the 100 meter dash.

When Syl got to the starting line he noticed that the class A, class B and Class C students in his group were extremely unathletic.

He smirked.

"I can't believe Ichinose would do this to me. How evil!" He joked.

A class B student near him heard this and looked away awkwardly. He felt guilty!

Ichinose told her whole class that they had received the list of participants for class D and they were going to use that to win, just like class C (Sakayanagi).

However, what they didn't know was that Ryuuen's class was doing the same thing! It was an attack on all fronts!

However, this just made life easy for Syl!

He easily took first place in the 100 meter dash and hurdles in his heat.

Class D was doing terribly but all the athletic students were doing amazing!

On the sidelines Horikita had a bad look on her face. "What's going on? It's like they already know all of our positions."

Nobody responded to her. They all looked nervous as they were in last place. Class A was in first place with class C close behind, but Class B was only slightly ahead of them.

Because of the fact that they were all putting their good runners in the same heats the competition between the three was fierce.

Syl looked over to his teammate Ryuuen. "Things aren't going as well as you thought huh?"

Ryuuen smiled. "Who could have guessed that all three of us would know your schedule?"

Syl laughed and raised his hand. "Me! I could have!"

Ryuuen shook his head. "You're strange, why don't you help out with your class?"

Syl shrugged. "I'm fine winning first place by myself. I have other things riding on this festival."

Ryuuen laughed. "Kukuku. I wonder what that would be."

"A date! Someone's trying to buy my body! How cruel! I'm fighting for my life out here!" Syl said in an exaggerated way.

"Is she hot?" Ryuuen asked.

Syl nodded. "Extremely."

"Then why don't you just lose?"

Syl gasped. "You're a genius! Why didn't I think of that?!"

Ryuuen sighed and walked away.

Sometimes talking to this idiot was annoying!

The next event was capture the flag.

Syl walked up to the team meeting. "You guys do what you want, I'm on offense."

Then Syl walked away. What a guy!

Ryuuen laughed when he saw this.

It was eventually decided that Class D would join Syl on offense and Class A would defend.

The teams got ready and lined up.

The moment it started Syl charged alone for the flag.

He ran up to the defenders and leapt into the air landing one of their shoulders.

Then he jumped off and landed on Katsuragi's smooth head before pushing off again and flying straight towards the pole. He caught it with two hands at the speed of a full sprint. The defenders were caught off guard and the pole immediately hit the floor.

A whistle blew instantly and the people in class A were shocked. The other classes hadn't even reached them yet! How could they have possibly already won?!

What kind of anomaly happened?!

The anomaly happened! It was Syl!

"What the fuck?!"

"How?!"

"This is bullshit!"

"What are you doing?!"

"Why are you losing on purpose?"

All the class C students came over and started hurling insults at class B and their classmates, who were just standing in pure shock and amazement.

"That was amazing…" Kanzaki muttered under his breath.

Some of the class D students sighed when they saw this and class C getting all worked up.

Hashimoto walked over and asked some of them. "What happened?"

One of the class D students pointed at Syl. "He happened."

Hashimoto looked confused. "What did he do?"

"He jumped on one of their shoulders and then off Katsuragi's head and knocked the flag down at full speed. The rest of us didn't even reach your defenders. He won the game alone, without the need for any of us or any of our defenders."

Hashimoto looked shocked. "What?! Is that even possible?! Katsuragi oils up his head! He would slip!"

The class D students sighed and pat Hashimoto on the shoulder. "You get used to it."

The whole school watching was amazed by this performance.

Syl was quite literally a one man team! He didn't even need help!

"Fufufu. What idiots. They still haven't learned that mosquitoes can fly?"

A voice in the distance rang out.

"Lord of the flies!"
