39 Chapter 39

Katsuragi was lost in thought before finally saying. "I have a few things I need first. I won't sign until you show me proof of your class leader. I'm taking the risk that we won't be able to find Ichinose's leader, so this is non negotiable. I also need you to promise you will help find out Ichinose's leader."

Syl smiled. "Of course, but you guys need to hear my demands as well. You can't tell anyone about my involvement in this deal, under any circumstances. Also, if someone in my class reaches out to either of you in order to harm me in any way, I need you to let me know immediately. I don't need you to tell me the details of who it is or what they want to do, just a warning that something might happen, you're even free to work with them so long as you warn me first. Then finally, I need you to understand and agree to the fact that while you two represent your classes, I don't represent mine. It should be obvious because I am betraying them but… Basically, what you need to know is that I can't control their actions, you will still be fighting against class D even if I'm on your side for this test. That means, if they guess your leader or anything else happens and the deal doesn't go perfectly, I bear no responsibility. Of course, I won't help them in any way as that's against the rules, but if I do nothing and they beat you guys fair and square, you can't blame me or cut me off from the private points. Sound good?"

Katsuragi nodded after a few seconds.

Ryuuen chuckled. "Kukuku. Then here are my demands. In order to make sure you don't break your promise and in order to confirm that you aren't lying about your class leader, you can't kick out the spy I send."

Syl's face scrunched up. "Don't tell me."

"Kukukuku! Ibuki should make a great supervisor."

"Bah! You're just doing this to spite me! You know how annoying she is!" Syl spat out.

"Exactly. That's the main reason I'm sending her after all, the other reasons were just excuses. You shouldn't have barged into my deal."

Syl was baffled. "But I helped you! I got you more money!"

"Kukukuku. Did you? I think I earned it myself."

Katsuragi who had stayed silent for a while finally spoke up. "Now, let's write this up."

Syl nodded. "You guys write it, I'll be back in a minute."

"Where are you going?" Katsuragi asked.

"To steal my class leader's card. Duh." Syl said before he smiled and ran off.

"What a strange and dangerous guy. To think he would force me into making this deal with a threat… It seems I made a blunder." Katsuragi lamented on his foolishness of thinking this deal would work out in the first place.

To be fair to him, it did have a chance of working out if two things didn't happen. One was Syl showing up and turning the deal on its head and the other was Ayanokoji's existence.

Ryuuen just walked up to Ishizaki and kicked him awake. "Get up you piece of shit!"

Ishizaki squirmed on the ground. "Gah! Wha- what happened?"

Ryuuen smiled. "You got your ass kicked by a midget. Kukukuku. Then he made me some money."

"What?" Ishizaki asked, only to receive no reply.

Katsuragi was busy writing up the contract, Ryuuen just ignored him, Ibuki was still unconscious, and Albert was just watching everything happen.

He kinda liked the little guy! He was funny, cool, and even thought he was strong, he didn't just use force on everyone else like Ryuuen did! He was just like Albert! Plus he also spoke fluent english!

Albert felt like he was a kindred soul!!

10 minutes went by and Syl returned by landing beside Katsuragi after jumping out of a tree.

Everyone was shocked. "I thought you were a quarter of the way across the island?" Ishizaki asked.

Syl nodded and chuckled. "I am!"

Ishizaki gasped. "So fast! How did you make it there and back already?"

Syl shrugged. "I'm just a guy who can run kinda fast."

He was just like Ayanokoji after the sports festival! Hahaha!

Syl ran up to the contract and read it over, making sure that it was what they agreed upon. Once he found out that it was right, probably because Katsuragi made it rather than Ryuuen, Syl signed it and tossed a card on the floor.

[Horikita Suzune]

"Kukuku. So it's her." Ryuuen said with a smile.

Katsuragi picked up the card and played around with it for a minute to verify its authenticity.

"This seems real. Alright." He handed it back to Syl and signed the contract.

Ryuuen chuckled. "Pleasure doing business with you lads." He said as he wrote down his name, finalizing the contract.

Syl chuckled. "Anything for my Captain! Then, I'll be going now, my class probably thinks I'm taking the biggest shit of my life!"

Syl waved goodbye and ran back to his class.

When Syl got back he slipped the card back where he found it with his stealth skill before walking out of the woods. "There you guys are! I've been looking for you for like 30 minutes! I got lost! It's dangerous out there I tell ya!"

Hirata looked up. "Syl! You're back! Could you help me out?"

Syl looked confused. "Why? What's going on?"

Shinohara ran over with a group of girls. "Syl! You agree with us, right? We need the toilet!"

Syl sighed. So this is what Hirata meant. Because Syl was friends with all the girls and often discussed make-up and other things with them, they wanted to use him to get the boys to agree with them!

What evil beings! So cunning!

Syl chuckled. "Well, I'm fine either way! I don't mind using the cardboard nor spending the 20 points."

"No! We NEED the toilet! C'mon! You agree, right Syl??" One of the girls said while giving a pleading look at Syl and pressing her breasts together.

'They're trying to honeytrap me! How cruel!!!'

"Uhhh… I gotta go to the bathroom again." Syl said awkwardly and tried to sneak away.

A hand grasped his wrist. "Oh no you don't. You just went, I'm sure you can hold it."

Karuizawa spoke with a smile that didn't reach her closed eyes.

She pulled Syl back and whispered. "If I have to deal with this, so do you. I'm sure you can figure out a solution. You're a smart doggie."

Syl nearly started crying as he was dragged back into the fray.

For the next 20 minutes he was in a living hell trying to mediate with the boys and girls.

'Why me god? WHY ME!??!'
