10 Chapter 10

That night

Syl was lethargic about his lack of ability to swim and was sitting in his room.

As he was moping around the system reminded him of something.

[Host has one free spin! Maybe it will cheer you up!]

Syl reluctantly spun the dreaded wheel.

It landed on a purple space.

[Ding! Congratulations! Host has received. (Devil fruit cure) x1]

Syl's eyebrows started twitching heavily.

"Sys, what EXACTLY does that do?"

He asked coldly.

[The devil fruit cure allows the host to get rid of those devil fruits pesky side effects!]

Syl's whole face was black at this point.

"What side effects exactly?"

[These side effects include: Swimming!]

"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!! YOU SHITTY SYSTEM!!!"

The next day.

Syl woke up to 4 letters on his doorstep with noise complaints.

Three weeks later.

Syl shows up to class and takes note of the fact that most students are still very well behaved.

He takes his seat at the back of the class behind Ayanokoji.

Chashibara enters class and explains that they will be having a surprise mock exam! Well, Syl probably wouldn't study anyway so the surprise part didn't matter much…

Syl just did his best! Which was actually pretty good due to the elementary and middle school knowledge as well as what he learned this month in class.

After class Syl and Ayanokoji were approached by the three idiots of class D. Who had already earned their nicknames by this point by doing terribly in class.

Yamauchi spoke up. "Yo guys! We are going to hang out with Kushida today! I think My chance has finally come! Hahaha!"

Ike cut him off. "No way! Kushida is coming to hang out with me! I was the one who asked her!"

The two started butting heads and fighting over a bitch…

Syl sighed. He was glad he knew about Kushida's dark side and didn't have any part of the boys fight over her.

Ayanokoji and Syl both agreed to join the four and they eventually all split up.

Later on.

The five boys walked towards the mall.

When they got there everyone was shocked! Not only was Kushida waiting outside but so was, Karuizawa, Hirata, Matsushita, and Nene.

The whole squad pulled up! But only Kushida was invited!

Yamauchi and Ike freaked out! What happened? They thought that only there goddess was coming?

Syl thought for a moment. Why are they so upset? Sure she invited other people… but they were all girls (and hirata) but still! Shouldn't the pervy pests be happy?

Who knows?!

Kushida smiled and walked up to everyone.

"Heyyy! I hope you don't mind that I invited a few more people!"

"Y-yeah… no problem." Yamauchi practically mumbled.

"I-it's better this way! Right Sudo?" Ike said.

"Of c-course!" He replied.

Syl ignored them.

"Yo Hirata! How's it going?"

Hirata smiled and happily engaged Syl.

"Great! How was the test earlier today?"

The idiot trio shrank back when they heard this. Probably in fear of there results.

Syl rubbed the back of his head and laughed. "So-so! I can't say I aced it but I don't think I failed! And who cares what your grade is as long as you pass right?"

Hirata awkwardly chuckled. "I don't think that's the best mindset… But I'm glad you passed!"

Syl waved him off. "What do I need good grades for?"

"University?"

"Bah! Who needs that!"

'I'm rich anyway!' He inwardly commented.

Hirata sighed. "As long as you're happy."

Syl smiled. "I am! This school's great! And it's just getting started! It's gonna be so much fun!"

Everyone agreed with Syl… well other than Ayanokoji who still hadn't said a word.

Syl added on. "Anyway, how did all of you guys do?"

Hirata humbly responded. "I like to think I did alright! But I'm not too sure."

Syl waved him off. "Bah! Don't be so humble I bet you got perfect marks! Well, actually those last couple questions were impossible."

"Haha. Yeah! Those last questions really stumped me!"

Syl turned to the girls surrounding Hirata. "How'd you all do?"

Matsushita answered first. "I did good! I think I got at least 60."

Syl smiled. "Congrats! You might beat me!"

Matsushita smiled. "I doubt it. I think you're pretty smart! You even figured out the class points."

Syl waved her off. "I just got lucky!"

Her smile turned genuine. "Sure… lucky."

She went into a thoughtful pose. Probably wondering if her and Syl were similar.

Who knows? Maybe they are?

Syl turned to Nene. "How was your test?"

"Huh? Me? Umm… It was good!" She called out in a surprised squeak, with slightly red cheeks.

Syl smiled. "Great! I'm glad!"

"Yes! Thank you!" She squeaked again… she seemed to be very embarrassed for some reason… who knows why?

"Well, how was your test, doggie?" Syl asked Karuizawa.

She froze and glared at him as she put her phone down.

"What did you call me?"

"Doggie! Cause you're cute and fun!" Syl said with a smile.

"Yo-" Karuizawa's angry reply was cut off by Hirata.

"He's right! You're super cute and fun!" He said with a huge smile.

"Yeah! Yeah! So true!" Kushida added on.

The other girls and boys also nodded.

Karuizawa pouted and picked her phone back up ignoring Syl.

A couple seconds later.

"That's not what you said before." She mumbled.

"What?" Syl asked.

"Nothing."

Syl shrugged like he had no clue what was wrong.

At this point Yamauchi and Ike were desperate because they didn't know how to speak up.

Suddenly Ike said. "How are you guys for private points! I feel like I almost spent all of them already!"

Yamauchi used this. "Yeah! I feel the same! Kushida! How are yours?"

Syl took this opportunity to take a piss! When nature calls nature calls you know?

"Sorry guys! I'll be back in a second."

Syl made his way off.
