Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor, The Ninth Wonder. 3. The last tomb of hell

Silas was shocked by the sudden notification in the skies and he then looked at the screen he summoned.

"The hell? Where's the log out button?" He said as he didn't even see the option anymore.

"Calm down, Lord Silas." Silas paused as he heard a voice behind him and he turned to see a little flying humanoid being.

She had long black hair and she wore a full black body suit which hugged her little curves. Her eyes were dark and cute, but Silas could sense a little bit of evil within.

Behind her back we're two bat wings which flapped much slower than the fairy's... That, he noticed.

"What are you? Who are you calling Lord? Please, just let me log out and quit this stupid game." Silas said as he was already getting angry in this game.

"I'm sorry, Lord Silas. But I've waited four hundred thousand years for your return. I am Dian, I'm a nymph." She said as she bowed 180 degrees.

"What are you saying--?"

"Remember your goal, bringing down the heavens and changing the way things are in this world." The fairy said that and Silas' expression softened and he looked at her with a raised brow.

"Goal? It was just a random thought I got, but I can't actually do anything." Silas mumbled and the fairy shook her head.

"You can, my lord. I'm here to guide you." The fairy said and then Silas sighed tiredly as he spoke in a calm tone;

"I don't know why you keep calling me Lord. I can tell you're strong, even if you're small." Silas said as he looked at her with a calm gaze.

"You're missing almost all your memories. Let's just forget about them and focus on the fact that there's something here that can give you enough strength to bring down the heavens." The fairy said and Silas began to think about it as he crossed his arm and put his finger on his jaw.

"Huh? My arm." Silas noticed that he was moving his left arm quite normally.

"My teeth." Silas said as he checked and all of his teeth were complete inside his mouth.

"Yes, the artifact you left is responsible for that, my lord." The fairy said with a smile and Silas raised a brow.

'This game is even more realistic than I thought. There's actually a way to bring down the heavens!!' Silas thought as he recounted his experiences in the last few days, people always bullying him for being weak, cultivators doing whatever they want to the weak. It was all just wrong, but then again, that's how it works in the heavens.

"Come with me." Dian said and Silas sighed as he began to follow her.

'I actually thought I'll just hop in and begin to fight monsters, but everything about the social system of this world irritates me. I'll have to purify this world, and thinking about it makes me excited.' Silas thought as a grin spread on his face and he followed the fairy down the mountain and then they began heading towards another mountain far away which is far taller than the one he was on a while ago.

"What is this place?" Silas asked as he looked around.

As they walked towards the distant mountain the creatures bowed down to them as they passed and Silas wondered if this is going to be his role.

"This is the nether realm. The place after death... Or so it was." Dian said and Silas looked at her.

"I thought this was hell." Silas said calmly as he looked at Dian with squinted eyes as he suspected the entire thing.

"The nether realm is a place which is connected to hell. We had to come here first so I brought you here first so that we can deal with the problem here." Dian said and then they continued to walk.

"Can we go any faster? Time is..." Silas paused as his face then turned to a bored expression.

'I forgot I got a break from work last week.' Silas thought as he facepalmed.

"I should still take us faster?" Dian asked as she looked back towards Silas and Silas shook his head and looked sideways to observe the current scenery.

The place was very dead, creatures were not much and once in a while, a large skeleton bird will fly passed.

"Why is this place so gloomy and dead?" Silas asked as he looked at some of the hideous creatures with weak bodies and scary appearances but he wasn't afraid of them.

"The nether realm is the place evil doers come to suffer before reincarnation. But since the heavens raided hell and destroyed everything, it hasn't been functioning and we haven't been prospering." Dian said and Silas shook his head.

"The heaven you are on is called first heaven. There are four heavens each with their own part which differ in power." She explained.

"Hell has always rebelled against the heavens. We didn't like the way things were, however, with the birth of an emperor on our side, one who was able to wield the power of the nether, we became a threat and they came down from above to deal with us." Dian said, clenching her fists as they reached closer to the mountain.

"The new emperor wasn't able to defeat the dragon emperor alone and he died. And so hell was destroyed, death too was killed." Dian said with a sad tone and Silas shook his head.

"He must have been really close." Silas said and she nodded.

...

"We're here." Dian said as they got to the mountain.

Silas looked at the large, five metres tall gate which was leading 'into' the mountains.

A beautiful black staff appeared on Dian's hand which had a purple gem at the top. Dian waved it towards the doors and then the ground began to tremble as they slowly began to open.

Silas struggled to hold his ground and then soon, the doors stopped as they opened wide and speckles of light flew out of Dian's staff and then the whole place was lit up from above and Silas blocked his eyes as the lights suddenly got brighter as they reached the ceiling, but he adapted to it and then his eyes widened as he saw a large creature running towards them.
