1 Prologue

Around 1500 years ago, humans appeared on the small island of Burlanda. They built a kingdom and they ruled there but they were not satisfied. They wanted to spread their rule far across the land. They wanted a bigger kingdom so they attack elves, that ruled all across the continent, and a big war begins.

But elves were not like humans, because elves have magic, and they are connected to nature more than humans. Even with their magic, they were not a match for humans, because humans are so ruthless, heartless, and selfish... Things that did not exist in elves culture and elves started losing the war.

Little by little in the years, humans progressed into war, taking almost half of the territory from elves. Sought they to destroy all elves and make them disappear from the continent. Eleves were in great despair, they couldn't fight with human's corrupted nature, and the humans were closer and closer to their mainland and the capital city. Then elves come up with an idea to together cast the biggest magic ever, a dark and forbidden one in their culture, to corrupt the nature and the land that they care for and make the border with that corruption all across the continent between their territory and human's territory that they lost in a war, and like that to divide continent and stop humans advancing. Humans couldn't use magic and so they would not be able to pass easily through the border of corrupted land, twisted by dark magic.

Cast they magic, sacrificing many lives of elves, and the continent becomes divided with corruption like a border. On one side humans were left and on another elves.

For years elves easily guarded their territory so corruption don't spread but humans had problems, big problems. Many animals and plants become corrupted and mutated with dark magic from corrupted land, and corruption slowly began to spread through the human territory. Years and years passed and slowly humans almost forget about elves. They had bigger problems now, to fight and stop corruption, to fight to stop corrupted beasts and beings rampaging all across the land.

In time some gifted humans learned how to use magic, in order to fight corruption, and they are learning to this day.
