25 Level up Like Crazy

[Experience Storage: 1,385]

His meditation skill isn't that very important right now. It would be safer to leave it for later since the level of his combat skills right now is at a level where he is basically untouchable to most.

That's without having them at the next rank.

'Meditation will have to wait for now…' thought Genji as he looked at the other skills and wondered which one seemed more important. 'Which skill will be best to level up…'

Bringing up his skill panel, Genji was surprised by the change to the appearance of the skills and their levels.

Looking at all his skills, Genji finally realized that he had a shit ton of them. He didn't mind however, he knew that each of these skills is very essential for him.

Looking at each skill. Genji was thinking of leveling up his Martial Artist to the next rank. But once he noticed how much experience that was going to take, he looked at the next best solution.

[<Iron Body> (Lvl. 13 ( 7/65 +) )]

Pressing down on the plus sign, Genji watched as his skill level increased.

[<Steel Body> (Lvl. 21 ( 0/200 ) )]

Suddenly, Genji felt like his body was a lot tougher and was even surprised at how the name of the skill had changed as well.

Bringing up his experience storage panel, Genji wondered how much experience he had left.

[Experience Storage: 632]

'Hmm… looks like it's best to level up weak skills up to 20…' thought Genji as he looked at his Steel Body skill. 'But I should save up some experience for now and see if I can get enough for my poleman skill or firebending…'

Without much thought, Genji poured the rest of his experience points into his Fire Resistance skill.

[<Fire Resistance> (Lvl. 21 ( 0/200 ) )]

[Experience Storage: 128]

After that, Genji threw the rest of the experience points into his Waterbending skill.

[<Novice Waterbender> (Lvl. 19 ( 61/95 ) )]

[Experience Storage: 0]

When Genji saw his experience points gone, he felt the need to read the next few days.

Now that he had leveled up his iron body skill, Genji no longer felt that afraid of swords or physical attacks. The only thing he might be afraid of will be huge boulders or skilled swordsmen like Piandao.

Maybe even the spirits and strong beasts like the platypus bear or the unagi.

Genji shook his head with a smile and instead thought to himself, 'I will level up the novice class skills up to the adept level and get the stat points. With those stat points, I can become stronger and I can protect myself even further.'

Four days passed by in the blink of an eye and Genji had managed to rake up 85 books worth of experience points.

[Experience Storage: 8,575]

His Meditation skill had leveled up some of his skills once more. Martial artist had gone up two levels, indomitable will one level, calm mind three levels, and poleman one level. Finally, his spirit stat had gone up another two points after 48 hours of consecutive meditation.

Unluckily for Genji, four points in the spirit stat didn't do anything. As far as he understands, he needs to have even more than that.

This day marked the day that he had finished reading all of the history books and scrolls in the library. With those books complete and a hefty amount of experience points on hand, Genji got to work and began to pour the experience points into all the novice class skills and upgrade them up to the Adept rank.

[Ding! Skill level up!]

[Ding! Congratulations…]

[+ 2 Power

+ 4 Vitality

+ 2 Energy]

<Adept Waterbender> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )

<Adept Crafter> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )

<Adept Illusionist> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )

<Adept Artist> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )

<Adept Strategist> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )

<Adept Tactician> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )

<Adept Physician> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )

<Adept Formation Expertise> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )

With all those class skills going up a rank, Genji earned a single random stat point from each skill. In the end, he was left with just a couple of 1,896 points.

With that many points left, Genji put it into the only active skill that needs leveling and his Hyper Sense skill.

[<Acupuncture> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )]

[<Hyper Sense> (Lvl. 20 ( 0/200 ) )]

[Experience Storage: 502]

The instant the Hyper Sense skill hit the 20th mark, Genji felt the world around him twist and turn as he suddenly felt like he could see everything in his surroundings. It was like he had eyes on the back of his head.

Genji was able to sense everything around him and even all the firebenders around him guarding the doors of the library. Within his mind, Genji saw these firebenders as a red light within his mind.

Their appearances as vague humanoids, which allowed him to discern if they were human. Genji wasn't too sure about the color red, but for now, he was going to deem it as the standard color of people.

If he knew what it was like, Genji might have thought this Hyper Sense skill was actually Ki Sensing or something similar.

The remaining experience points were all instantly dropped into meditation and Genji watched as his meditation skill rose in level.

[<Meditation> (Lvl. 14 ( 5/75 ) )]

Finally finished appointing all his experience points, Genji was surprisingly feeling very sleepy.

He took a step forward to get to the bed, but felt a strong wave of drowsiness hit him as his vision turned black and he fell to the floor.

Woosh!

Feeling water hit his face, Genji 'woke up' to find himself waterbending in the middle of the ocean. Fighting off fierce waves and even keeping himself afloat using the waterbending.

'Where the hell am I?' Genji asked himself as he looked around and only found more water far into the distance.

Woosh!

Water hit Genji's face once more and he instantly found himself holding various tools in hand inside a building with a smithy in the distance and a couple of other various materials around him.

With a small dagger in hand and a piece of wood in the other, Genji was thrust into another place. However, this time, Genji finally noticed that he didn't have control over his body. He watched on as his body began to sculpt the small block of wood and turned it into an amazing sculpture of a horse.

Woosh!

Like splashing water, Genji was thrust into another place.

This time, he was a magician.

Or rather an illusionist who is called a magician by young children.

With no control over his body, Genji watched as his body created illusion after illusion with sleight of hands. Fooling the minds and making them think whatever he wished them to think.

Woosh!

With another change, Genji was thrust into another area.

This time, as an artist!

Genji found himself before a large white wall and a ton of paints surrounding him.

He watched and listened as his body moved about and sang as it painted on the large white wall. His voice had changed into something he didn't recognize, it had a sort of charm to it that made you want to listen to it.

His steps were memorizing as he danced about and before he knew it, Genji had drawn a breathtaking portrait of himself.

'Narcism at it's finest,' thought Genji as he was thrust into another area.

This time, Genji finally understood what was happening. He was going through various 'dreams' that gave him the knowledge, techniques, and experiences of the skills he had just upgraded to Adept.

Just like they were made, Genji felt like he had easily remembered the techniques and experiences. He felt like they were ingrained into his bones and he watched on as he went into the next area, Strategy.

Watching as his body began orchestrating various plans in some random country, Genji watched in amazement as it soon became the underworld king of a couple states of the country. Controlling everything from the darkness.

Soon, Genji was in another area as a Tactician.

In the middle of war and all alone, Genji watched as his body fought against various people with limited items and tools on hand. He watched as his body killed over thousands of people without taking a single damage.

Woosh!

Eventually, Genji found himself wearing a white robe and a young man laying on the bed in front of him. With a single glance, Genji understood that this man had a couple of injuries and even a broken bone.

He watched as his body pulled out some needles and even began to use them on the young man. The needles went into the young man and they stimulated the young man's regeneration to speed up.

With that done, Genji watched as his body fixed the broken bone by cutting at the flesh and realigning the broken bone.

Within minutes, the bone was set back in place and the flesh was sewn back together.

Woosh!

Finally, Genji was thrust into the last area.

Standing on top of a hill, Genji watched as a large group of 500 soldiers rushed at his group of 10 soldiers.

Subconsciously, Genji felt like he knew that this was a futile fight. However, his mind told him that this body will obviously lead the group of 10 to defeat the group of 500.

Genji watched on and listened as his body commanded the group of ten into a formation and the strangest thing occurred after Genji focused on the group of 10.

It was like a formless energy was covering them and making them stronger. As they killed more and more people, they only got faster and stronger.

Soon, they were just bulldozing through the group of 500 like if they were nothing.

Bang!

With a loud sound of a bang, Genji's eyes snapped open and he found Azula looking at him with a frown.

"Why aren't you in the library?" asked Azula.

Genji was stunned and felt like he had been gone for years. It was such a bizarre experience he had.

If that's how trippy it was to suddenly bring eight class skills up to Adept. What would happen when he brings a single skill up to the next rank?

There will obviously be some more knowledge and techniques involved when a skill is much more highly leveled, right?

"Why aren't you answering?" asked Azula in a cold tone.

Looking back at Azula, Genji said, "Good morning princess."

Azula stayed quiet and continued to look at Genji with a frown.

Standing up, Genji maintained eye contact with Azula and yawned a little.

"Get to the library and start reading," said Azula before she turned to leave. "Today will be your last day there before I have you leave on a trip tomorrow."

Genji looked at Azula and walked away and thought to himself, 'Leaving on a trip doesn't sound as simple as she makes it out. It's been almost a month since I have been here in the avatar world. Counting the days since I saw Aang appear… this week must be the around the time Zuko attacks Kyoshi Island… two more weeks before Aang arrives at the Northern Water Tribe.'
