324 You're My Man

It had also to do with him not pushing her too much. She didn't feel backed into a corner. And she felt a little guilty that she had forced him to tell things to her. 

She wanted to tell him and that was what made the difference.

She stretched up on her toes and wrapped her arms around his neck. "It feels like I was waiting for the right person to tell. You're my person."

After the storm and her cutting off her family, he really was her person. 

"I like the sound of that."

And because she felt the same, she reached up to kiss his jaw. 

"You're my man," she whispered as her lips pressed light kisses towards his lips. 

He could tell that she was trying to keep her balance and struggling. The water sloshed around her as she stretched up on the very tips of her toes to kiss him. He was too tall. 

So, he moved his hands down from her hips to her thighs as he bent down a little and hoisted her into his arms.
