Ending It

"Now where the hell are these corpses....." I said to myself, when I reached the place where the 7 wolves were killed by us.

After searching for a while, I found them. Their bodys burnt with no fur to be seen. Burnt flesh with some limbs having been exploded by the blazing fire powered up by the Wind burst casted by the girl named Hiva.

"Urgh, this stench is unbearable" I almost vomited when I saw and breathed in the Iron smell of the blood.

At first I hesitated to do anything, because the whole scene was truly disturbing to see, but then I remembered that this is the best and quickest way for me to get stronger and kill that Giant Forest Wolf that hopefully isn't somewhere near but didn't run away too far either..

I went up close to the corpses and reached my hands covered with fire towards one of them. I ripped the corpse apart. I couldn't handle the sight and stench anymore so I vomited instantly.

I have no idea how many times I tried not to vomit but eventually did... but I collected all of the seven higher 1st Order mana cores...

"I hope it was worth it.." I said hoping for a good power up and some good new abilities to be available for my future usage to be absorbed.

WHAT THE HELL? WHY DID NO NOTIFICATION POP UP THEN?! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS BULLSHIT! DID I SERIOUSLY VOMIT SO MUCH FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER?! HUH?!

Okay let's calm down now... we can all agree this is bullshit of a godly degree... but we still gained something.. no? yeah, I gained something. I evolved into the 2nd Order Finally.

Now I can definitely compete against that damn immortal Mutt. I will suffocate it the hell out of it.

"Speaking of which its running straight at me, I wonder how it found me" I smile thinking of how the wolf made the job for me way easier.

I plunged right at it too with my Sword covered with the [Space Blade] skill.

The Giant Wolves head was cut through, but it regenerated just as fast as it was cut.

Without delay I cast the skill [Blazing Fireball] and launch it right at the wolf.

The wolf seemingly with a smug face just walked into the flame without fear to show me how foolish I am for attempting to kill it again. But just as it caught fire I casted another skill [Engulfing Space Barrier] around the Forest Wolf and spent more than half of my mana, that now was reaching a bit over 600 after the evolution, to make the Barrier stronger for it not to collapse.

The wolf not understanding what's going. He was standing there with flames still on him trying to burn him but only to fail. The Flames did absolutely no damage to it.

The thing the 'Immortal' Wolf didn't know was that the flames weren't for the purpose of burning HIM, but for burning the oxygen that was in the space inside the barrier.

Slowly the flames extinguished because of the lack of oxygen in there. When the wolf noticed that it couldn't breathe it panicked and attempted to use that Dome skill, but failed. The reason being him being in an entirely different space than that was outside.

It was as if the connection was disconnected between the wolf and the nature outside the barrier.

"HAHA YOU SEE NOW? YOU ARE NOTHING BEFORE ME YOU DUMB STREET MUTT HAHAHA

THIS IS YOUR END!" I shouted at it knowing damn well it cannot hear me in that enclosed space..

After a lot of struggling it finally collapsed.

But I didn't cancel the skill. I kept it for a while longer in case the Wolf was just pretending to die only for me to cancel the skill and him attacking me straight after. HAHA no thanks, have seen this way too many times in movies and have read similar things in novels back in my past life.

I know... this is a bit strange of me to do remembering what I was shouting at it just a few moments ago.. But I am no stupid person, I value my life a lot. Having lost it once without even knowing how, I do not plan to lose it again. NO THANK YOU.

I, still hesitantly, canceled the skill. Seeing the wolf not move I decided to move closer to it ready to defend at any moment.

But it was really dead.
