"Xuiye…" Lee Chang-You called out.

That little girl was Lee Xuiye and the little boy was Mo Lingtan. At that time, she was 5 years old and he was 10 years old.

"Mommy…" Lee Xuiye got up and ran towards her.

Lee Chang-You saw Lee Xuiye's red face and worriedly asked "Xuiye… What happened? Did somebody bully you?"

Lee Xuiye saw that her mother was looking hostilely at Mo Lingtan.

So, Lee Xuiye hurriedly said "No… I was the one who bumped into him and hurt him".

"You hurt him!" Lee Chang-You exclaimed and angrily looked at her daughter.

Lee Xuiye saw her mother, she pursed her lips and her eyes started to turn red again.

Then Mo Lingtan saw Lee Xuiye and then he immediately got up and went towards them "No… It's not her fault. It was me, who didn't see her".

Lee Xuiye turned towards him and widely opened her eyes and asked in a high voice "Why are you lying? It was me, who didn't see you".

"No… I am not lying" Mo Lingtan protested.

"No… You are lying" Lee Xuiye shouted.

Lee Chang-You saw both of them and shook her head, she didn't know whether to get angry on them or to console them.

"Okay, stop it, both of you. Little Bun, What was your name?" Lee Chang-You softly asked.

"I am Mo Lingtan".

"Lingtan, I am sorry. I know, it's my daughter's fault. Whenever she is here, she always bumps into someone and everyone shouts at her, because of her negligence. However, you aren't like them, so thank you so much for not being rude towards her and taking care of her" Lee Chang-You softly said.

"Don't worry, Aunty. She is now my friend, so I will take care of her" Mo Lingtan said with a big smile on his face.

"Really?" Lee Xuiye was shocked. She didn't have friends because she didn't have her father, so other children didn't want to become her friend. Mo Lingtan was the first person who said that he would become her friend.

Mo Lingtan nodded and smiled.

"But… I don't have a father. Will you be okay with that?" Lee Xuiye asked and pursed her lips, in a fear that might be, Mo Lingtan would shout at her and now he wouldn't want to become her friend.

When Lee Chang-You heard her daughter, she became sad. She knew that other neighbour children didn't treat Lee Xuiye well and even Lee Xuiye didn't complain her for that and also hid many things from her.

"Stupid, I want to become friend with you, not with your father. So what if you don't have your father" Mo Lingtan said.

When Lee Xuiye heard it, she became so happy that she hugged him tightly and she was giggling. Because of her sudden hugged, Mo Lingtan took a few steps back, but he balanced himself and softly patted her back.

Lee Chang-You saw that both of them had spoilt their clothes in dust and ice-cream, so she interrupted their happy moment "Okay, come on now and let's buy some dress for both of you".

Then, she turned towards Mo Lingtan and asked: "Did you come here alone?"

"Aunty, I came here with my grandma, she will meet me here".

"Ohhh… If you don't mind, would you come with us, so that I can buy clothes for you as well?" Lee Chang asked.

"Yes, Mo Lingtan comes with us. We will buy a matching dress" Lee Xuiye said happily.

Mo Lingtan saw the time on his wristwatch and thought that his grandma would take some time, so joining them would be a good idea, then he agreed "Okay".

Lee Chang-You took them to the nearest shop so that they would reach this place on time to meet Mo Lingtan's grandma.

Both Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye brought red shirts and blue jeans and when Lee Xuiye wore them, she was looking super cute, even Mo Lingtan couldn't take off his eyes from her.

When he saw that Lee Xuiye caught him off, then he immediately diverted his sight to the other direction and pursed his lips and his ears turned red because of embarrassment.

Then he saw that his grandma had arrived at the decided location and she was looking for him.

"Aunty, my grandma has arrived, I have to go," Mo Lingtan said to Lee Chang-You.

Lee Chang-you saw that queue at the cash counter was long and it would take time and then she saw a woman, who was standing at the corner, where earlier Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye were standing.

"Okay, you should go. Your grandma is waiting for you".

Lee Xuiye held his sleeves as if she didn't want him to go. Of course, she got a new friend, how could she let him go?

Lee Chang-You saw her daughter and she bent down and patted her back "Xuiye… Lingtan's grandma was waiting for him. He has to go, dear!".

Lee Xuiye looked at her mother and shook her head and instantly her eyes turned red.

Mo Lingtan saw Lee Xuiye's red eyes and he came forward and patted her head "Xuiye, what about this? I will come here the day after tomorrow, then we can meet here again. What's say?"

Although she didn't want him to go, she knew that she couldn't stop him as well, so meeting with him again was a good idea.

"Promise?" Her big blue eyes looking at him with hope.

Mo Lingtan nodded and said with a smile "Promise".

Only then, she reluctantly left his sleeves and let him go.
