1 1·· "Help me out"

Vex called me, asking again for my help,

"Can you come to the studio?"

"Why?" I whinned as I got up of my bed.

"I need you to to do some vocals for me! Please Linnea?"

"Okay! You own me like hell bruh"

"I know, I know. Now get to ass over here shorty" I hung up and got dressed quickly. Luh Kel was the main artist on my playlist so as I turned it on his song BRB came on. I loved him since his first song, I made it to the studio, singing Cold Heart then switching to Empty by Juice Wrld.

"I had to freeze to stop the rain, made heart so cold! Why you always gotta come at me sideways-" Someone came and tapped on my shoulder. There he was. Luh Kel.

"Hi Kel" I smiled trying not to fangirl.

"Hey, I heard you singing my song an' my friends told me I should come talk to you"

"Um, my friend is waiting for me so how about I give you my number instead, he hates when people are late." I smiled as I shook my head. "Bye Kel" I smiled as I handed him the paper and walked away. Once he thought I was out of earshot, "Yo that was crazy!" I could hear him laugh and it made my heart melt. I took off to the studio room where Vex was waiting. I smiled at him as I opened the door. There he was again. Kel.

"This must be fate then huh shorty?" Turran smiled at me. "So you know the DJ Vex huh?"

"Yep, been best friends since middle school." Vex smiled as he made some tweaks to the beat he was working on.

"What brings you to Vex, T-Kel?" I didn't want to call him Turran, because I didn't really know him and calling him by his real name would kinda rude in my book. And I didn't wan to come across as a stalker.

"Vex promised me a beat, and today he called me over and said he'd help me record too, but if anything he made it harder." He said flashing a smile at me, biting the side of his lip.

"Ight Turran stop flirting with my sister" Vex smiled adoringly at me and I returned it.

"Linn you can go ahead and do your thing" I sat down my purse and walked into the booth, I did at felt right, and if Vex didn't like it he would tell me. After about 3 minutes, of humming and doing vocals and watching Vex and Kel talk and laugh and Kel watch as I worked felt like it was years. I loved seeing him, being so close to him.

"So?"

"Well I think-"

"It's perfect" Kel smiled and he seemed to be happy. I smiled as a sat next to Vex and Kel stepped into the booth.

"So Turran huh?"

"He's nice, and funny, and cute but I don't really know him" I caught myself blushing thinking about him.

"Have you seen his Instagram? Baby boy stay on cute" I said pulling out my phone. I could hear Kel laugh.

"You think I'm cute huh shawty?" I saw Vex's hand on the button that lets the person inside hear the people outside.

"Vex!" I said slapping his hand away. He let go and I yelled at him.

"You fucking goof! Why in the hell would you do that, slow ass monkey?! Ugh God I hate you Vex! What the fuck!" I yelled and ended up leaving. Kel texted me shorty after.

I went to Instagram and did a boomerang of me putting up the middle finger. I then put "Fuck you @DJVexx" and posted it. 5 minutes later, Vex reposted it saying "🤣🤣 love youu @BabyGirllLinnea" and next thing you know, Kel is in on it posting Vex's post with "I love you tooo" over Vex's. I ended up coming back.

"Linnea!! Thought you wasn't coming back?" Kel said.

"Well you cute as hell, who could stay away?"

"Me, I could" Vex said as he put on headphones. He turned up the volume so he couldn't hear us. Kel pulled out his phone and then  looked up at me.

"Hey Linnea? Wait is it okay if I call you Linnea? Or do you prefer Linn?"

"Whichever one you choose. What's up?"

"My friend is having a pool party and I wanted to know if you wanna go with me?"

"I'd love to go Kel."

"My name's Turran by the way" he bit on the side of his lip again.

"Of course I wanna go with you Turran" I licked my lips as he smirked. Vex took off his headphones and looked at us.

"Ight get out. Leave you damn kids" me and Kel got up and left.

"Fuckers!" Kel swore as he looked at a empty parking spot.

"You need a ride?" I showed a smug smile as Kel nodded.
