Chapter: 7. Some Wounds never Heals.

Savannah saw how people in the party praised her and her mother, Aurora for having such a daughter like Savannah and she saw how people said to Aurora that she raised Savannah very well.

Savannah has noticed how Aiden looks so proud of Savannah in the party. But she also saw the way he looked at her mother. Savannah wanted to talk with Aiden but she knows it won't be possible for her now.

Aurora got down on her knees making Savannah look at her.

"Are you alright, my love?" Aurora asked as she grabbed Savannah's wrist making her smile.

"I am good, mommy... Don't worry about me." Savannah answered with a smile on her face, making Aurora take a deep breath.

"You know that I can't stop worrying about you right? You are my little angel." Aurora said as she hugged Savannah and she hugged Aurora back.

"I am fine, mommy... I think we should continue the party." Savannah replied.

"No. Let's go home now." Aurora said.

"Mommy... No... This is your party... We can't just leave like this.'' Savannah tried to tell Aurora because she doesn't want to finish off this party without knowing about Aiden.

"But... You are hurt. We need to clean your wound.'' Aurora said, making Savannah take a deep breath.

Just then, Aiden walked towards them with the first aid kit in his hands making Aurora and Savannah look up at him.

"Let everyone continue the party. We will clean her wound and then she can enjoy the party as she wants... Why force her to go home when she is having fun at the party tonight?" Aiden asked as he grabbed Savannah's wrist making her grin.

Savannah nodded her head as Aurora looked sternly at the side who interfered in between them.

She doesn't at all like him getting close to Savannah but she just couldn't say no to him.

"Mommy... Please." Savannah requested.

"Fine... If you say so." Aurora said, making Savannah smile.

"Let me pick her up...'' Aiden said, making Savannah smile but Aurora grabbed his wrist before he picked Savannah in his arms.

He and Savannah frowned seeing Aurora stopping him and looked at her with their eyebrows raised.

"I will pick her up." Aurora said, making Aiden frown deeply he looked at her from head to bottom seeing her in designer dress.

"Are you sure?" Aiden asked as she saw him looking at her from head to bottom and then she looked at herself and sighed.

"No worries. I will pick her up. you can follow me behind." Aiden said, making Aurora sigh but she nodded her head in yes and Savannah smiled seeing Aurora nod her head.

Aiden picked Savannah up in his arms making her smile and the three got up on their feet. Aurora looked around the people who were looking at them and sighed.

"I apologise to everyone for this inconvenience. Please continue enjoying your party. we will be right back.'' Aurora said and everyone nodded their heads with a smile and started enjoying the party while Aiden just kept looking at Aurora.

"What?" Aurora asked Aiden, making him shake his head at her.

"Let's go somewhere else... To a calm place." Aurora said as she took the first aid kit from Aiden's hand making him smile.

They both walked out of the party area together making Savannah smile as she saw that they both look like a match made in heaven.

The 3 settled in the lounge area and made Savannah sit beside aurora.

"Umm... I will clean the wound." Aurora said, making Aiden shake his head in no.

"Let me do it." Aiden said, making Savannah smile and Aurora took a deep breath.

"Fine." Aurora replied as she nodded her head and Aiden started cleaning Savannah's wound.

She winched with pain as Aiden cleaned her wound and it hurts aurora to see her daughter in pain. She has never left any scratch on Savannah until now and this hurts her seeing her in pain for the first time.

She winced as Savannah winched with pain making Aiden frown seeing Savannah winching while he was cleaning her wound. He stopped cleaning it for a while and looked at her.

"You ok?" He asked as he looked at her in her eyes.

"Yeah." Savannah replied as she nodded her head.

"It hurts, right?" Aiden asked and Savannah nodded her head.

Aiden looked at Aurora and saw teary eyes who looked at savannah.

"Your wound hurts your mom too." Aiden said as he cleaned Savannah's wound and looked at Aurora who looked at him.

"Of course, it does. She is my world. I didn't get a scratch on my daughter and how dare she step on my daughter like this." Aurora asked Aiden as he took a deep breath.

"Mommy, she is no more here... We already showed her place. Okay? Don't worry about her anymore. She won't do something silly again if she gets to know her place right now. She should have some manners in the first place. How can she do this to me? Doesn't she know how to behave with kids? This is really so silly to do this by taking advantage." Savannah said, making Aiden nod his head at her but smiled sheepishly while Aurora rolled her eyes at her daughter who has a big mouth to show everyone their places.

"Well, Savannah is right. You already showed her place. She won't do something like this again and Savannah will be alright in a few days. Yes, this wound will hurt her but she will be alright soon. This wound will heal soon." Aiden replied with a small smile looking at aurora and then smiled at Savannah as he looked at her.

"But some wounds never heal... They just get so deep in us that they never want to be healed.'' Aurora replied, making Aiden snap his head towards her and Savannah frowned seeing Aurora speak like that as she didn't understand her well.
