Su Zui had escaped! It was probably no big deal, with King Yanlin surely not too far off, he liked to believe that his liege would deal with the devolving situation.
The only issue now was that he had quite clearly tossed aside his orders for the sake of saving his own hide. Erm, well, Yanlin wasn't a very understanding person back when he sat upon the demon throne but Su Zui was not ignorant to the way that Yu Yanlin was beginning to exhibit now that he was no longer hailed as king.
Was it because of the change in his situation, or because of the Immortal of a Thousand Blossoms?
Either way, it was incredibly juicy gossip and Su Zui really hoped that Yanlin could at least pardon his blunders so that he might continue to sate himself on this curious interaction.
