4 A devil's Favor

"Something must be wrong, with the hospital power system" Tommy was freaking out a little because he remembered some horror movie starting like this. Immediately he said those words, the whole hospital lights went off.

"Where the fuck am I" Tommy panicked, he was standing in the middle of nowhere, that wasn't the scariest part, the strangest thing was that the sky was red and every other things were pitch black.

"Where am I, Esu is this your doing" he received no answer from Esu, which made him angry, "Answer you, Stupid devil. Why am I here?" He asked again, but no response came from Esu.

"What am I going to do..... Wait is that a person" Although it was dark, Tommy could somehow see the figure ahead, he started walking towards the figure, dragged his drip along with him, and walked for a few minutes before he got to the figure.

The figure was sitting on what seemed to be a log, Tommy touched the figure, but the figure didn't move, he added a little bit of force into his hands as he shook the figure.

The skin of the figure cracked, and the crack spread throughout the figure's body, Tommy immediately moved away from the cracking figure, the crack stopped and Tommy could see a figure coming out of the dust.

The figure had black skin, its two hands were longer than usual, they were almost touching the ground, the creature was on the shorter side, it had 3 eyes and a sharp horn on his head.

The creature looked around until its eye landed on Tommy, immediately it saw Tommy the creature launched at him, Tommy was taken by surprise as the short black creature's body landed on his, knocking him over.

As Tommy's back hits the dry ground, the creature digs its teeth into Tommy's shoulder. Tommy screamed out in pain, as he felt the sharp teeth tearing into his skin. Tommy used his free hand to punch the creature.

The creature rolled off Tommy's body, Tommy sprung off the floor as he used the drip stand for support, he removed the drip from his body, and the creature used its two long hands to hit the ground repeatedly as it charged at Tommy again, Tommy not knowing what to do, used the drip stand to hit the charging creature, the pole bend upon contact with the creature's body, it sent the creature off course as it moves pass Tommy but it's sharp nails tore Tommy's skin.

Blood poured out of the cut, Tommy screamed in pain as he fell to his knees, he looked up only to see the creature charging at him again, "What the hell is this creature" he held the lower part of the pole, as the creature got closer, he swung the pole hitting the creature again, the wheel part of the drip stand hit the creature right across its faces.

Black substance poured out from the creature's mouth, the attack made the creature daze for a few seconds as Tommy backed away from the monster, "This edge is sharp, I hope it can penetrate this stupid creature's body.

It took the creature a few seconds to recover from its daze, the creature moved its fingers, and it touched the area where Tommy had attacked it, after touching the blood, he brought the fingers to his face, and upon seeing the blood on his fingers, the creature smiled.

The creature shouted in a strange language, that Tommy had never heard in his life, it pounded the ground over and over again, Tommy remembered this move, and the creature did the same thing before it charged at him.

He held the rod behind his back, waiting for the creature to charge at him, " I pray this works because if it doesn't I will be dead for sure" he said to himself as he waited for the creature's charge.

The creature stopped hitting the ground and it charged forward at Tommy, Tommy didn't move 'Not yet' he thought, the creature stretched out its long hands while Tommy pointed the sharp rod toward the creature's face.

The rod entered the creature's head killing it instantly, Tommy was not on the safe side either as one of the creature's hands could be seen inside Tommy's stomach, Tommy didn't expect the creature to pack so much force as the hand went into his stomach with ease.

He realized that if he had failed to kill the creature, he would have died in one single move, although he wasn't in a better position as blood poured out of his injuries, he fell on his knees, he removed the creature's hand from his stomach, he took off his clothes using it to stop the bleeding.

"Damn, damn, damn where the fuck am I, why was that thing after my life, is this hell, is it because I signed a contract with a devil, now God is punching me" Different thoughts were going through his mind, he couldn't understand why he was here, or how he got here, he was just going to the restroom and now he was in a different place.

A place where he was going to lose his life because he could feel he had lost too much blood for someone who just woke up from a coma, he blamed himself for signing the contract, if only he had more willpower the devil would have not blackmailed him.

Tommy looked towards the dead creature with a rod sticking out of its head, then something strange happened, right before Tommy's eyes, the creature turned into dark smoke and flew into Tommy's body.

Tommy jumped up, he thought it was another attack from the creature, but as the smoke entered his body, he could feel his injuries healing, he was surprised by this, he could feel the energy moving along his body heading towards the injured part of his body.

*ROARRRRRR*

As Tommy was still checking his body he heard a roar behind him, he turned around only for a sharp tail to pass through his heart,

Tommy woke up back at the hospital, he was standing before the vending machine with the flickering lights but now the lights were stable. He looked around, but nobody was in the hallway except for him "What the fuck was that. Did I die, yeah I died, but how am I back at the hospital" he questioned his memories because everything was strange.

How could a dead man still be alive, he was sure something passed through his heart because he felt the pain before he blacked out, but now he was standing here facing the same vending machine, as he questioned himself a nurse walked up to him.

"Are you Mr önager?" she asked with a smile.

"Yes, is anything the problem" he answered with a worried expression, he still didn't know what he had just experienced and now a nurse was asking for his name.

"No, we have been looking for you, your family is here, they are waiting for you in your room" she replied with the same smile, it was kinda creeping Tommy out, he didn't know why, but he did the nurse bye, saying he had to use the restroom and he would be there in a minute.

"What's going on with me," he asked himself before he headed towards the restroom, after finishing his business in the restroom he headed back towards his room.

When he opened the door he saw three people standing inside his room, tears dropped from his eyes, and he recognized the people it was none other than his family.

"Tommy, where did you go, we were worried," Aloy asked as she ran toward Tommy hugging him, Tommy was skinny and he had pale skin having just woken up from a 3-year coma.

"Why are you jumping on my body, you little brat, get off me" Tommy replied with a frown on his face, Aloy stepped back as she heard Tommy's voice, she looked at Tommy's face thinking maybe she hugged the wrong person.

What she saw, made her frown on her face too, she saw Tommy smiling "Am just joking, I went to the restroom, how long have you guys been here" Tommy asked as he hugged his sister.

He hugged his father and elder brother before he went back to lying on the bed, he was tried, somehow he could still feel the pain inflicted on his body in the other world,

While talking with his family, catching up with the latest info, his stomach rumbled, and then he remembered he still hadn't eaten his full yet "Did you guys bring any food, am hungry" he asked to which Aloy nodded, walked outside, and came back with 3 big food containers.

"I didn't know what you would like to eat, so I just ordered everything they had," Alot said as she brought the container to Tommy, he opened the first one and what he saw was Melon soup and Eba, he opened the second and it was fried rice and fried chicken drumsticks, he gulped down his saliva as he opened the third container to with slightly disappointed him, it was spaghetti and meatballs.

He picked the second container, he was about to take a spoonful when he remembered something, he closed the container as he got up from his bed, his family asked him what he was doing, and he just told them that he had to repay a favor to the nurse that gave up her food for him.

He left the room and headed towards the doctor's office, he knocked, and he heard a voice telling him to come inside. "Mr. Önager, what brings you to my office, I thought you would be spending some time with your family," the doctor asked immediately he saw that Tommy was the one entering his office, he was also surprised that a coma patient for 3 years could walk already after few hours of walking up.

Normally such a patient would have to go for therapy because not everyone could withstand losing three years of their life, some patients would even refuse to believe, but here Tommy was standing before him looking fine, except for how skinny and pale he looked.

"Sir, please the nurse you collected her food for me, what's her name I would like to return the favor, my stupid sister brought too much food," he said to the doctor, he didn't know why but he felt he had to repay the favor immediately.
