15 Break My Soul Will Ya

[SAKURA]

As they walked into the Russian building, ignoring the eyes on them that were filled with fury, Sakura couldn't help but look at the crazy woman she had forced to walk ahead of her. There was something about Kiyomi Kimura that she needed to know.

It was like the woman was pulling her in and no matter what she tried to do, there was nothing Sakura could do to pull back from this. From the way Kiyomi had pulled her hands from Sakura's, the Lycan queen knew the rogue Lycan knew it too.

She knew they were mated and was probably never going to forgive the fates for binding her to the worst of creatures. On a normal day, that wasn't the kind of thing that Sakura Watanabe cared about.

If anything, she would simply encourage a rejection from Kiyomi, so she could kill the woman and pile her body among the others, but right now, as they headed in, Sakura couldn't see herself doing that to Kiyomi.

She couldn't see herself letting her rage build up so badly to the point that she killed the psycho she was with. It was like she wanted to know what made her tick, and yet in the past few hours, Sakura had realized that everything made Kiyomi tick.

Perhaps that should have made the Lycan queen lose interest in the wildling she was with, but a part of her still wanted to know more. If anything, the queen was interested in understanding Kiyomi more.

Maybe Otaru was right.

Maybe Kiyomi Kimura was really special and meant something to the mad queen.

However, was there a way around that for the soulless queen who was still trying to come to terms with the fact that she had a heart that only started beating when Kiyomi walked through the doors of her penthouse?

"You're dragging your feet you useless wanker," Sakura said when she realized she was a little too close to the crazy doctor. Kiyomi wasn't dragging her feet, no. It was Sakura. She was intentionally walking faster because she wanted to hear her heartbeat.

She had realized that her heart truly beat in sync with Kiyomi's and she wanted to know if Kiyomi felt it too. Then again, the woman was so enraged and disappointed with how things were that she wouldn't be dealing with the queen anymore.

"Yeah, right. If you knew I'd drag my feet, you could have easily portaled, right? But then you couldn't because you wanted to show everyone just how powerful you were and how stupid you could get.

"I'll walk my pace, Your Royal Highness, if you think I'm too slow, you can walk ahead and lead the way to whatever hell you're sending me at the moment alright?" Kiyomi said, the anger in her voice clear.

Sakura let out a chuckle at Kiyomi's tone, making the doctor turn to look at her, and instead of Sakura stopping, she simply walked ahead like Kiyomi had wanted her to. It was like she was suddenly interested in the meeting with the Russians.

"I have never seen someone with one too many loose screws in her head," Kiyomi said to no one in particular as she walked after Sakura she was followed by Otaru who was clearly walking behind Kiyomi to make sure the Russians didn't try shit.

"Hurry the fuck up, murderer, your fate awaits you," Sakura's voice was heard in the distance and Kiyomi felt her heart constrict. She had been so caught up in her chaos that she had almost forgotten that she was a murder suspect.

A murder suspect who was at the headquarters of the Ivanov mob, the same people who wanted her dead. Reality did dawn on her a little too fast when she saw the Russian mob's son's name, Bazyli Ivankov, written on the office door when she got there.

Pushing the door gently, Otaru ushered Kiyomi in, making her sigh in defeat. Her fate had long been decided and the fact that she was here with the queen that hated rogues, it was obvious she was going to be handed over.

So, with her eyes closed, Kiyomi made a silent prayer to the god of the humans to take care of her Elif, her best friend who had been there for her since she had come from the Lycan lands.

Elif deserved a better and brighter future, and while Kiyomi had done her best to accumulate wealth and power for her with her finances, she could only hope that the people around Elif didn't break her heart because then it wouldn't be fair.

"Are you done doing whatever the fuck you are with your closed eyes?" Sakura asked amusedly as she stared at the scared doctor. Her fear was something that the Lycan queen had sensed from a distance, but Sakura didn't care.

At least not anymore.

"Lethal injection, head off my neck, or a claw in my heart?" Kiyomi mumbled as she opened her eyes, staring at the floor, not changing the position of her bent head. She didn't want to see whatever it was that the queen planned for her this time.

She had already signed a contract that rendered her useless and at the disposal of the Lycan queen for her to play whatever games the mad woman wanted, so she wouldn't be surprised if they made her suffer first.

"You have so little trust in me, petal," Sakura said with a laugh, before she stared at her apparent mate and then at Otaru.

It was like she was considering her options but then even if she had options, did that matter when she was the queen and her world was always, always going to be final and a gospel for many?

"Leave us," Sakura ordered and the room cleared up, leaving Sakura, Bazyli Ivankov, and Kiyomi Kimura in there. It was like everyone knew what kind of fate was waiting for Kiyomi except the woman herself and she was scared of what was coming.

"So, she's the one that killed my father?" Bazyli asked coldly as he got up from his side of the table and walked over to where Kiyomi was. He looked scary as fuck, and Kiyomi knew this man wasn't ever going to forgive her.

He looked like the face of death that had been haunting Kiyomi for the longest time. In the little time that Kiyomi had been hiding at the hospital, she had realized the Russian master had two sons, his first son named after him, and the last son, Bazyli.

Many always talked about Bazyli being crazier than his elder brother and that shit made Kiyomi feel like everything was never going to go right for her. She was in a room with two predators who despised her for their own reasons.

"I didn't kill your father," Kiyomi let out shakily, when Bazyli ran a hand down Kiyomi's dirty face. The woman had gone through hell, but she knew there wasn't a hell that could ever be worse than the one she was about to be subjected to.

Oh, to be hated by the powerful and the craziest of them all.

"Come here, baby," Sakura suddenly said softly and for a split second, Kiyomi lifted her feet to go to the woman who was calling.

But then when she realized that Bazyli was the one responding to the queen's call, Kiyomi wasn't sure what to think of anymore.
