34 First Date

Ryan and Angel walked into the sophisticated restaurant.

She was greeted by workers and she replied with a nod.

They were directed to a table and they both sat.

Ryan kept looking around, it was his first time entering a place like this.

Can I even date someone like her? Her family won't allow and she might not even like me.

Angel noticed that he was lost in his thoughts so she cleared her throat.

He's he like this because he hasn't entered a place like this? Is this too sophisticated for his liking?

Mr. Ryan!! Why are you looking around?.... Don't you... like the place?" Angel asked curiously.

She added "Mr" because she wasn't sure if they were close enough to call him by his name.

What? I don't like the place? This is the most beautiful restaurant I have ever been to" Ryan said to himself.

"The place is so nice...but...why are we the only ones here?".

Angel bite a lip a little before saying "This is one of my friend's restaurant and this place have to be shut down when either I or my dad desires to use it".

What!! Is she some kind of celebrity? How would they shut the building down because she wants to eat here?

Salió el chef "Buenas noches Sra. addams".

(Translation: The chef came out "Good evening Ms. Addams".)

"Buenas noches señor, me encantaría tener un manjar especial de su parte hoy" Ángel dijo con una sonrisa.

(Translation: Evening sir, I would love to have a special delicacy from you today" Angel said with a smile.)

Es un honor hacer que pruebes mi comida" El chef se inclinó.

( Translation: It's an honor to have you taste my food" the chef bowed).

Bebamos vino antes de preparar la comida" ángel expresado

( Translation: Let's have wine before the food is prepared" Angel voiced)

Ryan just stared at her without saying a word.

Angel's eyes fell on him and she said "That's Spanish".

Ryan nodded "How....Where....did you learn".

"My dad always wanted me to be perfect so I studied five languages" Angel said nonchalantly and this made Ryan stare in awe.

"She's so awesome. But I'm definitely not her type so I should just keep a distance".

Nora dialed Jason's number to tell him what she has decided to do.

It would be on the safer side if she signed the contract before he investigates her.

Nora heaved a sigh "I just wanted to inform you that I have signed the contract and when are we going to meet".

Jason heard her sigh and thought "Why is she behaving like she's scared".

It's not like I also have a choice on this. She's the only one that can do this for me.

"Let's meet tomorrow morning before going to work" Jason commanded.

Due to her apathetic resignation, she just nodded without thinking about her work.

Then he cut the phone.

Angel took a sip of her wine and kept talking.

She was very free with him, to be honest, but she was also scared.

The waitresses came out of the kitchen area with large trays in their hands.

It was served on the table in a properly arranged manner.

It was strange to Ryan because it was a feast.

They were only two but the food was enough for ten people.

Angel stretched out her hands and rubbed them together. She loved food so much, to be honest, but she could hardly eat twice a day because of the workload.

Ryan saw her childish behavior and was shocked because she could change her personality so easily.

First, she was a crybaby then she became cold and aloof and now she's behaving like a child who just saw candy.

Angel inhaled the steam of the food and licked her lips.

The chef said before he was cut off by Angel "Este es...

(Translation: This is)

"El no entiende español, así que déjame hablar".

( Translation: He doesn't understand Spanish, so let me do the talking)

Ryan...I mean Mr. Ryan" Angel lowered her head after she said this.

"It's fine, I prefer Ryan".

Why is she trying to draw a line, I'm really not her type.

Angel cleared her throat the n stood with a spoon in her hand.

She used the spoon as her microphone and instructed one of the waitresses to take a video of her madness.

The first dish is "Pollo al ajillo" Unpeeled cloves of garlic are fried in olive oil to flavor it, then taken out before adding pieces of chicken. When that's cooked, the garlic goes back in with some rosemary and thyme" Angel wasn't even shy that she was in the presence of a guy she loved.

This is "Gazpacho" The reddest, ripest tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, bread, peppers, and cucumber are blended until silky smooth, then chilled and poured into bowls and it would be our side dish today".

"And this is "paella" I can't explain much about it".

The chef and the waitresses clapped for her.

They all knew that she couldn't do this in presence of her dad.

Angel sat and picked up her fork to start digging.

"Disfruta tu comida" The chef said and walked away.

(Translation: Enjoy your meal)
