The audience was enraptured, hanging on every word, and as the speech came to a close, they burst into applause. The emcee took to the stage once again, thanking the audience for their time and attention, with that the event came to a close and music filled the big hall.

The air was charged with excitement as the designers gathered around Nicole Novak and her team, eager to immortalize the moment with photographs. The winners were first in line, beaming with pride as they posed for the camera, clutching their prizes close.

Then, it was Emily's turn, and she stepped forward, glowing with accomplishments. The flash of the camera captured her smile, a perfect snapshot of a momentous day.

In a secluded corner of the room, away from the crowd, Emily found herself face - to - face with Nicole Novak. She was excited about the opportunity to work with such a successful woman.

As part of the process of working with Nicole, Emily was required to provide her personal information, including her home address, phone number, and other details.

As the dust settled after Nicole's whirlwind visit, the students of the school longed to catch one last glimpse of their idol. But the school's tight security kept them at bay, unable to get close to the woman who had captivated their imaginations.

The security team's effort were a resounding success, allowing Nicole and her team to safely make their way to their car.

As the car pulled away from Asterisk University, they watched as Nicole and her team drove away, the students waved goodbye, their hearts full of hope and inspiration. It has been truly special day, one that would live on in their memories for years to come.

The contestants stood backstage, after being addressed by the lecturer. Their eyes darted back and forth, taking in the bustling scene around them. Suddenly, a voice boomed over the loudspeaker, the words echoing off the walls.

"Designers, it's time to change and return your designers cloth to the design studio!" With that, the contestants rushed to the dressing room, a whirlwind of color and motion.

They changed into their casual wear and submitted their designs to the studio, their creations now immortalized in the annuals of fashion history.

As they left the building they felt a sense of pride and accomplishment knowing that they had given it their all. The sky above was a brilliant blue, as if the heavens themselves were applauding their efforts.

"I'm so happy for you!" Alexis said to Emily as they emerged from the classroom, were they went to pick up their stuff, her voice brimming with excitement.

Emily's heart swelled with gratitude, her eyes shinning with joy. "Thank you, and I'm happy for you too!" She replied, a sense of triumph radiating from her.

A sense of consolation washed over Alexis. "Well, at least I got to be the forth runner up," she said, clutching the small token of appreciation in her hand.

Emily nodded, understanding the sentiment. "Yeah and Nicole was gracious enough to give all our class her latest magazine," she said.

Alexis and Emily's conversation continued, a mixture of emotions swirling around them. "You should have seen Melissa's face," Alexis said, a laugh bubbling up from her chest.

"She looked like the definition of disappointment and anger," Emily added.

"I'm just happy for David," Alexis said, a sense of justice in her voice.

"Me too, he worked so hard," Emily agreed.

"He told me he was over the moon when he won second place," she continued.

"Time to celebrate!" exclaimed Alexis, a smile brightening her face.

"Bye!" called Emily, waving as Alexis walked away.

With a sense of accomplishment, Emily turned towards the office, eager to submit her lip gloss project before heading home. As she approached the school gate, she spotted Camilla and Lucy, their faces beaming with joy.

"You did it!" They cried in unison, rushing towards her and embracing her in a joyful hug.

"We're so proud of you!" gushed Camilla, her eyes shinning with joy.

"Of course you won, you're the best!" exclaimed Lucy, giving her a friendly nudge. But the affectionate embrace soon turned a little too enthusiastic, leaving Emily gasping for breath.

"I...can't... breathe!" she gasped, causing her friends to quickly release their hold.

"Oops, sorry!" they said in unison, looking a bit sheepish.

"This calls for celebration!" exclaimed Camilla, her voice filled with glee.

"Let's head home and make it a day to remember!" proposed Lucy, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Fine, I'm game if you are," said Emily, grinning from ear to ear.

"Hey, wait a minute - where's your engagement ring?" Camilla exclaimed, her eyes searching Emily's hands.

"It's in my purse, I removed it when I came to school, I didn't want what happened to me with Fred repeat itself again," Emily said.

"What happened?" Lucy asked.

"I'll look for it" Emily said bringing down her bag and took her pause out, while Camilla explained to Lucy their encounter with Fred.

"Guys, it's not here, I can't find it," Emily said, after searching her pause and her bag for the ring.

"You're absolutely positive it was in your purse?" Camilla pressed.

"Yes, I remember putting it there before we went on stage," said Emily, her voice wavering.

"But if it's not there now, that must mean someone took it," Lucy reasoned, her brow furrowed in concern.

"Yeah, I should have left it at home but I wasn't conscious of it till I left home," Emily lamented.

"What can we do now?" Camilla asked, her voice full of concern.

"There were so many people at the competition, it could have been anyone," Emily said.

"Who could possibly do such a thing?" Lucy asked, her brow furrowed.

"I think I know who it is," Emily said, a hint of anger in her voice.

"Who?" Lucy asked, her curiosity piqued.

"Melissa," Emily replied, the name dripping from her lips like poison.

"The same Melissa who was acting all high and might at the competition?" Lucy asked, her eyes narrowing.

"The very same," said Emily, her lips pursed in disgust.

"But I wonder how she'll take it when all our stuff was being watched," Emily said, her voice tinged with disbelief.

"People like her can be pretty slick," Camilla replied, her expression grim.

"We need to confront her," Lucy said, her fists clenched with determination.

Just as the trio was about to head head out, they heard Emily's name being called out. They turned to see Melissa and her entourage approaching them, a smug smile on Melissa's face, holding the ring up high.
