Chapter 1: The beginning

The story begins with a wolf running across the woods, Chasing the wolf is a solider named Aaron Sigel, Aaron gets on his knee and aims his rifle at the wolf and then fires a round, but the bullet misses so Aaron reaches in his pocket and pulls out another shell to put in his gun as he gets back up and resume his chase once more, Back at a military base, In a sniper tower a solider named Miller overhears the gunshot "What the?...." Miller whispered to himself, he then takes out his binoculars and looks in to see Aaron hunting down the wolf, Miller then takes out his HT and radios in General Benson to tell him the news "Benson! This is Miller, I have a situation over here!" Miller yelled, "Benson here, what's seem to be the problem?" Benson said over his HT "I spotted Aaron chasing a wolf, He seems to be very bloody, and out of shape" Miller said "What? What happend to him?" Benson said "Your guess is as good as mine" Miller answered with a sigh "Okay I'm gonna send out a squad, might as well send out Clark" Benson said. A few minutes later, a squad of soldiers go outside and the wolf runs up to Clark and licks and paws at him, and when Aaron shows up the wolf runs and hides behind Clark for protection. One of the soldiers, Private Jackson steps forward confronting Aaron "Aaron! Stop this! what's wrong with you?" Jackson shouted, Aaron makes grunting noises and aims his rifle at the wolf "Aaron put the gun down now!" Jackson said aiming his gun at him. Aaron makes even more grunting noises and opens fire at the wolf but instead hitting Clark in the leg "ARRRG" Clark yelled falling to the ground, back in the sniper tower, Miller aims his sniper and shoots Aaron right in the eye, as he drops dead Miller takes his HT and radios in Benson once again "Benson! Aaron is killed, I repeat Aaron is killed! He opened fire on us, had to take him out, but the wolf is saved but Clark got shot in the leg, we need Bright over here!" Miller said over his radio. "Okay, I send another squad to collect Aaron's body over." Benson said, As everyone heads back in Two of the soldiers help Clark into the medic room "Okay man, your gonna be alright, We go get Bright and Tykes" One of the soldiers said, as they exit the room Bright comes in "Okay boys, thanks for bringing him, I'll take it from here" Bright said. The two soldiers exit the room leaving Bright with Clark, Bright takes out a needle and puts some med into it and looks back at Clark "Clark this may hurt a bit" Bright said putting the needle into Clark's wound, as Bright slowly injects the cure into Clark's leg, Bright takes out some bandages and wraps it around Clark's leg "Okay, now lay down and rest, You be better in a few days" Bright said, Bright then leaves the room leaving Clark alone, then the wolf comes in the room and nuzzles Clark's leg, "Aww, Good girl" Clark said reaching out to pet the wolf, The wolf then notices Clark's leg wound and then the wolf takes off the bandages hurting Clark "Ouch, hey stop it" Clark said, but then the wolf ignores Clark and it takes the bandages off all the way, the wolf then licks at Clark's leg and it somehow heals as if nothing happend, Clark gets confused and looks at the wolf, the wolf then nuzzles Clark's leg again and Clark reaches down and pets the wolf. "Thanks but how did you do that?" Clark asked the wolf, the wolf then wimpers as its ears go down. "Hey it's okay, I won't tell anyone" Clark said wrapping the bandages in the spot that they were before "They won't suspect a thing" Clark said, Benson walks in the room looking at Clark "Hey Clark everything okay?" Benson asked "Yeah everything is fine, Can you ask Tykes to bring me a Cane?" Clark said "Sure thing, I go get him, Just watch over the wolf and let her get used to this place" Benson said, Benson then takes out his HT and radios in Dr.Tykes "Hey Tykes you there?" Miller said into his HT "Oh hey Benson, what's up" Tykes said. "Hey, Can you bring a Cane for Clark to stand on?" Benson said "Sure no problem, anything else?" Tykes said "I need you to bring Aaron's body to the examination room and examine his body, try to figure out why he attacked us, Jackson told me that he was making some weird grunting noises, so check his vocal cords, if you find something interesting radio in me at once!" Benson said "You got it. I be right over there" Tykes said, Benson then enters the radio room where Tucker, the radio operator tries to radio in another base but there's something wrong with the radio "Hey Tucker, everything okay?" Benson asked "No man, there's something wrong with the radio, I think we need Chuck to fix this." Tucker said. "Okay I'll alert Chuck, See ya later man" Benson said, as he exits the room he goes into the garage where Chuck is working on one of the trucks "Hey Chuck can you do a favor?" Benson said "Sure what's up?" Chuck said turning to Benson "While Jim is working on the intercoms, can you help Tucker fix his Radio?" Benson said "Sure no problem" Chuck said with a smile, he then goes over to the radio room and Benson goes into the cafeteria and into the kitchen where Harry, the station cook is making some food, "Hey Harry poolHow about you take a break, you been working too hard for the past week, go ahead and go to the resting area and take a nap." Benson said "Okay, If you say so boss" Harry roller skates down the hallway to the resting area, and then Benson gets radio'd in by Tykes, "Benson,I found something you may wanna see about Aaron!" Tykes said over the HT, "I'm on my way" Benson said, a few minutes later, Benson arrives at the Examination room and when he enters, Tykes turn to him "Benson, come over here, you may wanna see this, but first call up everyone here, they need to see this as well" Tykes said, "Okay, hopefully Jim has finished fixing the intercoms" Benson said, he the. enters his office where Jim is standing there "Hey Jim, did you fix the intercoms?" Benson said. "Yeah, works like a charm, you need it?" Jim asked "Yeah I do, Go to the examination room, and wait for me there, and while you at it go wake up Harry and have him get to the examination room as well, he should be in the resting room sleeping" Benson said. "Okay, you got it" Jim said, when Jim exits the room Benson goes to his intercome and test it "Attention everyone, I need you all to report to the examination room. Tykes found out something about Aaron, Everyone report to the examination room immediately!" Benson said over the intercom, a few minutes later everyone walks in "Benson, after this can I go back to sleep?" Harry asked yawning "Of course you can but after this is done and over with." Benson said politely "Okay Tykes tell them what you found" Benson said turning to Tykes, "I figured out while he was grunting, He was trying to tell us something but something bit off his tounge! It seemed like some wild animal or something" Tykes said, everyone's eyes go wide as there reaction "Okay I don't think I can go to sleep after that" Harry said with his eyes widened "Wait a minute, do you think that wolf did that to Aaron?" Tucker said pointing to the wolf, the wolf then wimpers and stays close to Clark. "Hold on, No wolf is strong enough to rip out a human tounge" Clark said trying to support the wolf "Yeah Windows, He is right, No wolf can possibly do that" Bright said "But why was Aaron chasing the wolf?" Tucker said "Guys look, here's an idea, we quarantine the wolf, Clark go with the wolf and put her in the Kennel, Stay there and watch her, make sure she don't escape" Benson said, "Okay, let's go girl" Clark said whistling for the wolf to go with him.The wolf follows him to the kennel and instead of putting her in with the others, Clark goes to an empty kennel and opens the door for the wolf. the wolf goes up to the door but is hesitant to go inside the kennel. "Well?.....What are you waiting for?" Clark said looking down at the wolf. The wolf then goes inside the kennel wimpering as it sits down looking at Clark "Hey everything's going to be okay" Clark said. Back in the examination room, Tykes put Aaron's body in a body bag and put it inside the mourge "Okay everyone to the cafeteria" Benson said, As everyone heads to the cafeteria, Harry passes out the food and everyone begains to eat. "Hope y'all fellas enjoy, despite knowing the fact that Aaron's tounge has been bit off" Harry said with a smile, Everyone begins to eat. "Hey, should we take some food to Clark so he has something to eat?" Chuck said "yeah, after we get done eating, we`ll save some food for Clark" Harry Said. suddenly, Clark rushes into the cafeteria and busts in as quick as a whip "GUYS, COME QUICK! THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE WOLF!" Clark shouted, without hesitation, he runs back to the kennel with the others following. "I don't know what's wrong with her, but she's bleeding like crazy!" Clark said, everyone then runs to the kennel to see the wolf howling in pain while bleeding, suddenly a bright light shines from the wolf blinding the gang, a few seconds later the light disappears and everyone looks to see the wolf has been transformed into a younge beautiful teenage girl, with black cloths on and is covered in blood, the girl cowers in fear as she trembles in the corner. Benson takes out a gun and aims it at her "Woah Benson! what are you doing?" Clark said in shock. "Gonna Terminate this threat!" Benson said focusing his aim on the girl. "Benson wait, you shouldn't do that" Clark said. "Are you questioning me?, I am the one that makes the decisions around here!" Benson says "I have to agree with Benson, She is probably the one that tore out Aaron's!" Chuck said. As Benson gets ready to fire at the girl Clark stops him "But Benson, What if we're WRONG about her?!" Clark said, Benson then lowers the gun and turns to Clark "Fine, if you so sure then how about you go in there and talk to her" Benson says "Okay, Open the door" Clark said, Benson then opens the door and Clark goes inside and slowly approaches the girl, the girl trembles and stares at Clark. "Please.....don't hurt me, I do anything." the girl said, Clark then stops and keeps his distance from the girl "It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you" Clark said. "How do I know your not lying to me?" The girl said with a very beautiful voice. "If I wanted to hurt you, I would have done it while I was letting you explore this place" Clark said "But you thought I was just a mere wolf, and now you discovered my true identity" The girl said "Look, if you afraid of getting killed, then why did you come here in the first place?" Clark said. "I needed a place to hide out, I been on the run from those hunters for so long, I just need a place to stay" The girl said "I understand what you are going through, we won't harm you, but we gotta earn our trust first, Look here's what we are gonna do, I'm gonna get my freinds and discuss this, once we come to a decision, we let you know, Okay?" Clark said, the girl then nods and stays in her place. Benson then takes out his HT and radios in Sergeant Marcus, "Benson to Marcus, do you read me Marcus? Over." Benson said into his Radio "Yeah I'm here Sir, What's up?" Marcus said "I need you to come over to the kennel and watch over someone for us, it's hard to explain" Benson said "I'm on my way" Marcus said, a few minutes later Marcus shows up "So what's up?" Marcus said "We need you to watch this girl while we have a discussion over where we should get rid of her, or have her stay with us" Benson said. "You got it." Marcus said, Benson and the others go in another room leaving Marcus with the girl "Hey, When was the last time you ate something?" Marcus said to the girl, "M..M...Months" The girl said "how did you survive that long?" Marcus said "I been living off the wild" the girl said, Marcus then reaches in his pocket and pulls out a granola bar and then tosses it over to her "here have a bite, It ain't much but it's better than nothing" Marcus said smiling "Thank you" the girl said "No problem, Can you tell me your name?" Marcus asked nicely "I'm Raven, Nice to meet you" the girl said "Nice to meet you too Raven, I'm Marcus" Marcus said, meanwhile in the other room the gang is discussing weither they should let the girl stay or get rid of her "Look y'all, I'm down with Clark, I vote we let her stay, let's give her a chance" Tucker said, "No way Tucker, She's dangerous, she could kill us all" Jim said "Guys, remember when I got shot by Aaron?" Clark said everyone them gives a slight nod "Look what happend" Clark said lifting up his bandages to show the wound is completely healed, Tykes stare in shock "That's impossible, how could that heal so fast?" Tykes said "The wolf licked my wound and it healed as if nothing happend" Clark said "Benson look how about this, we let her stay but we keep an close eye on her, then we question her later okay?" Nauls said "Okay Harry that sound good enough, it's settled then, let's go see Marcus" Benson said, he then exits the room with the others following him "Okay Marcus, thanks for looking after her, I'll take it from here" Benson said "Okay boss, I managed to get some info out of her, she said her name is Raven and she hasn't eaten in months." Marcus said. Benson then turns to Raven " Raven, Here is what we are going to do, we are gonna interrogate you and have you answer some questions for us, Okay?" Benson says " Okay.." Raven said. Minutes later Raven gets put in a room with nothing except a table and some paper as well as a glass wall infront of her, on the other side of the wall is Benson and his men. "Okay Raven, can you demonstrate your abilitys and show us what you can do?" Benson said " Oh sure thing, prepare yourself for the greatest magic show you ever saw in your life" Raven said with a smirk, her body glows blood red and fire forms on one of her hand and a waterball forms on the other, as her eyes glow red, Tucker slowly backs away from the glass in fright, Raven then vanishes but a bloody handprint forms on the window and Raven reappears with her hand on the bloody fingerprint, her psyco smile causes Tucker to get powerphobia (yes it is a real thing) and slowly back away from Raven "Don't worry Harry, I'm just showing off my powers, I have no intention of harming you" Raven said in a very menencingly way, she then teleports in the middle of the room and bows to Benson and the crew, Tucker then takes a deep breath of relief to calm down knowing Ravens magic show is over, "Okay, Clark bring her to a cell and Harry make her something to eat" Benson said "A...cell? am I under arrest?" Raven asked "No Raven your not under arrest We gotta make sure we can trust you." Benson said, " Okay, as long as I am not punished" Raven said "Oh no no, Nothing about punishment" Benson said in a very assuring way, but before we escort you to your cell, I need to ask you a few questions" Benson said "Okay" Raven replied. "Is it true that you bit off Aaron's tounge?" Benson asked, Raven gives a slight nod "And is it true you healed Clark's leg?" Benson also asked. " Yes...." Raven said with a sigh "Okay so why do you wanna stay with us?" Benson replied "I need a place to stay, i'll die out there with those hunters tracking me down" Raven said "But wait, can't you use you powers?" Tucker asked, "I have every power but immortality, I can still die like a normal human can, but I saved myself by healing before I bled out" Raven said "But wait, what caused you to bleed in the first place?" Benson asked " I can only stay in one form for so long before turning back to human, if I stay in one form for long periods of time longer than what I am used to, my body will bleed, the longer I stay an animal, the longer I bleed, I'm slowly becoming more powerful and soon, this won't matter" Raven explained "Okay, you can stay with us, welcome to the club Raven" Benson said "Thank you Benson, can I have a place to rest? Raven asked "Yeah, we have a free room open, the guy Harper that commands the soldiers has retired, so now the room is all yours" Benson said. a few minutes later Raven lays in bed with Clark tucking her in "Have a good night Raven" Clark said, "You too" Raven replied, Clark then closes the door ending this chapter and starting a new one as soon as I get it done
