9 My Grandfather Is An Alien?

[ Bedroom of Prince Chronos Astral ]

Before Chronos could finish his sentence, the air around him crackled with a faint hum, and a pulsating, dark purple light caught his attention.

As he watched, a subtle wave of energy echoed out of the light, which gradually formed into an oval passageway.

The purple outline darkened into an abyssal black, and out of it emerged an elderly woman and a younger, radiant lady.

"Stop teasing my baby boy! Athena or…"

the deep voice of the elderly woman echoed out of the portal, whom Chronos recognized as the woman who held onto him the night before.

The purple portal behind the pair shimmered and faded away as if it never existed.

Before she could finish her sentence a sweet but serene voice interrupted.

"Baby brother! Our little Chronos is here!!"

The radiant, angelic lady rushed towards Chronos with her arms spread open, levitating as she went.

Chronos squinted his eyes, bracing for impact, but instead, he suddenly found himself floating into the arms of the elderly woman,

"Don't scare my baby boy… you two…"

She chided, turning to give Chronos a loving smile as she pinched his cheek with her free hand.

"Tai Sui.. Grandmama?"

Chronos blurted out, the knowledge suddenly coming to him.

Her warm, loving smile radiated with joy as she exclaimed,

"I'm the first one our little Chronos remembered!"

Athena interjected,

"Actually… He…"

But before she could finish, Grandmama turned and shot her a glare, waving a finger in her direction.

In an instant, Chronos watched as Athena became completely motionless and speechless.

He looked up at his Grandmama, eyes widened in shock and awe.

'She's strong! and she has the same purple energy as my mom… and me when I first awoke...'

'Does that mean...'

'I'm a bad ass too??'

Chronos thought.

Grandmama looked back down at Chronos, her wrinkled face crinkling with yet another loving smile.

She playfully pinched the edge of his nose and said,

"Welcome to the world, baby boy! As your favorite family member and the greatest Grandmama in all the lands I will make sure no one dares bully you ever again!"

With one arm holding Chronos close, Grandmama struck a pose with her free arm perched on her hip, grinning and almost glowing with happiness.

" *Ahem* *Ahem* Grandmama, Big Sister Athena's frozen in a very awkward position"

The angelic girl interjected.

Grandmama turned her gaze towards Athena, her displeasure evident, and waved a finger, releasing her from suspension.

Athena let out a groan and complained,

"Hmph! Grandmama I used to be your baby girl too, you know…! How can you suddenly become so biased!"

She stomped lightly on the ground, arms folded in displeasure.

"Find a husband and bring me a great-grandchild, then I'll tell you why…. You're already a hundred years old and you still stink of a virgin.. When can you…"

As rage started filling Chronos's theatrical Grandmama, his second sister grabbed him by his armpits and positioned him in front of her face.

Chronos found himself mesmerized by Sophia's breathtaking smile.

Her beauty was enchanting, with pearlescent skin and lustrous purple hair that cascaded down her back like a shimmering waterfall.

Her eyes, beneath her bangs, held a piercing white gaze that seemed to possess wisdom beyond her years, adding an air of intrigue and mystery to her presence.

Dressed in a formal gown of ethereal white, the fabric seemed to emit a gentle glow in the light.

The dress was adorned with exquisite beading and intricate embroidery, each detail carefully crafted to accentuate her natural grace.

Her features were delicate and refined, featuring high cheekbones and a small, pointed chin.

Her lips were full and tinted with a soft shade of pink, offering a touch of warmth to her cool exterior.

Dumbfounded by the situation, Chronos's leg dangled mid-air as he gazed at Sophia's stunning silvery-white eyes.

Without much thought, he waved his arm in front of her eyes and blurted out,

"Sister Sophia.. are you blind…?"

The squabbling between Grandma and granddaughter came to an abrupt halt as both of them shifted their gaze towards Chronos and Sophia.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA…..!"

Athena broke the moment of silence, suddenly bursting into laughter and wiping tears from the corner of her eyes.

She pointed at Sophia, almost gasping for air.

"Are you blind? HAHAHAHA"

*SMACK*

Grandma waved her finger, and a resounding smack landed on the back of Athena's head.

"When will I ever get a great-grandchild if you continue acting so barbaric and unladylike!"

She scolded.

Chronos chuckled and turned back to Sophia, instantly lost in the serenity and beauty of her silvery-white irises.

Sophia let out a light, melodic chuckle that could have made half the bachelors of Tertius weak at the knees.

Sophia then explained,

"Silly little brother, I was blessed with the powers of foresight. The silver in my eyes symbolizes the essence of time, while the dark purple in Sister Athena's eyes symbolizes the powers of space."

In his peripheral vision, Chronos could see Athena standing proudly with her arms arched by her hips, chin in the air, about to speak.

But before she could say anything, Grandmama once again smacked the back of Athena's head.

*SMACK*

"Is that the way a cultured lady should be standing??!"

Grandmama once again belted out completely ignoring her own domineering demeanor.

Sophia conjured a mirror, and as Chronos turned to face it, his eyes bulged in shock.

He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Looking back at him was a childish yet well-toned face of a 5-year-old, with a head of hair that was white with purplish highlights.

It was but the second day in this new world and he had already grown so much?!

"You see my baby brother, you yourself have eyes of silver and dark purple, are you half blind?"

She giggled.

Chronos was transfixed by his own reflection. His irises looked like a white light had shone into a deep purple void of space - mysterious yet regal in its rights.

He had never seen anything like it.

As Chronos tried to process the revelation, he was jolted out of his trance as Grandmama Tai Sui teleported beside the mirror.

The shock of seeing her next to him made him jump a little, but he quickly regained his composure.

"You are a very special one my dear,"

Grandmama Tai Sui said, her voice filled with excitement.

"It seems that you have been blessed with the same extraordinary affinity to time and space as your mother and Grandmama! "

"With the excellent genetics of our Tai Kong Clan to carry whatever you might've inherited from your grandfather's lineage…."

She didn't finish her sentence but at this point she had put on a smile so bright her eyes formed the shape of crescents.

'Hoho! It seems like I drew the genetic jackpot!'

"What's special about my dad's side of the family?"

Chronos's mind was racing with thoughts of what this could all mean.

"Hmm, how do I explain this?"

Grandmama Tai Sui began, pausing for a moment before beginning her story.

"Before Tertius was named Tertius, there was an incident that caused a planet-wide flood that then froze over."

"Many years after this incident, humans were created amidst a world of ice and snow. The conditions were so rough that they were forced to evolve into a physically stronger race."

"The environment then was also more dense with dimensional energy so human ancestors, or the Apep, evolved into a bigger stronger form of humans than we see today."

"However, about 12,000 years ago, two powerful beings came to the planet by mistake. They were a pair of mighty beings whose battle brought them into our planet by accident…."

"The aftermath of their decade-long duel left our planet in ruins, essentially wiping out the Apep and most life-forms with them."

"Out of the two mighty beings one died and the survivor who was heavily wounded… is your grandfather."

Grandmama Tai Sui finished her story.

Chronos was in shock.

"WHAT? Grandfather is an ALIEN?!"

Athena's resonant probe shook the room they were in.

Grandmama shook her head as she calmly replied.

"Even I don't know much about him, except that like most other powerful beings, he has been exiled to a different realm."

Chronos couldn't believe it.

'Woah… I am a descendant of an ancient clan of Time and Space… and… I'm HALF-ALIEN?!!!"

Lost in thought, Chronos turned away from Grandmama and asked sister Sophia coyly,

"Could you please put me down first, Sister Sophia?"

Sophia gently placed Chronos on his feet, and he waddled towards his bed, but suddenly the fatigue and headache hit him, and he began to lose balance.

As he was about to faceplant into the floor, he heard the beginnings of Athena's laughter.

"Darn that translucent bitch and her curse!" Chronos thought.

The nausea from his throbbing headache and lack of sleep had caused this sudden faint spell

Desperately, Chronos tried to reach his bed before passing out.

Just as he blacked out, he heard a muffled choke, and when he opened his eyes, he was already on his bed.

Grandmama and the two sisters exchanged looks of shock and awe.

Athena whispered,

"Did he just...teleport?"
