11 Race Trait

In a vast white space void of nothing lies a body of a young handsome man and a young beautiful girl. Avery opened his eyes and found himself in a familiar space. This was the place where people who were chosen by the Crystal of Ascension were sent in order to set-up their race and village. But what is unfamiliar is the body of a young girl beside him.

The young girl, Little Yue, woke up and found herself in this unfamiliar white space. She panics and looks frantically around for her Big Brother. Avery seeing her like this touched her shoulder in the back as she slowly turned around. Seeing him she rushes in for a hug and starts to calm down.

A large game-like screen then appears in front of them.

Seeing the sudden influx of messages. Avery slowly read through it while Little Yue was surprised and confused at the same time.

'What's going on? Am I going crazy?' Little Yue though as he looked at the screen.

"What's happening Big Brother?" She asked as she held his arms tightly. Afraid of being separated from him.

"It's okay, I'm with you. This place is called…" Avery then started to explain what's happening. He explained the Rain of Ascension, the Crystal of Ascension, what those crystals did to them, what this place is and what will happen in the future.

"Nn." Little Yue nodded slowly as she slowly absorbed the knowledge given to her. She did not have a single doubt about what he said. As she has complete trust towards him. As for how he got that knowledge, she does not know but she trusts her Big Brother will explain in the future. As she does not want to pressure him.

After absorbing everything. They both entered their real name.

"Hmm.. Can you explain the benefits of each race, Big Brother."

Avery then proceeds to explain the pros and cons of each race.

"Then we should go with Elves. It has a lot of potential in Magic. Plus from what you said, Magic in the Ascended World seems to have tons of potential. If we could unravel those, we could somehow Imitate what the other races can do. And… I could see it from your face that you want to choose this race so why not." Little Yue explained and mischievously added the last sentence.

'Yes she's right. Magic has tons of potential. Having an advantage with Magic is a great benefit.'

'Now this is new. Looking at the options available. All I can say is that this would all be game breaking. But first we need to study each one and decide what to choose.'

Avery and Yue then decided to look over the options available. After countlessly throwing dialogues to one another. They finally decided what to choose.

'My sister is a genius. She was able to catch on every information I told her. Little Yue was even able to dissuade me in choosing one of the traits I chose. And I can't help but agree after hearing her reasons. Well it's no surprise since she was considered a genius back when we attended school.'

'It's nice having someone to have a discussion with. I was able to see a lot of new perspectives that I did not consider before. As they said, two heads are better than one especially if those two heads are smart.'

[Chosen Trait:

Master's of Magic: Increase natural talent in mastering magic. These spans in all areas related to magic such as Spell Casting, Magic Smith, Enchanting, MagicTech, etc.

Master's of Weaponry: Increase natural talent in the selected field ( Selected: Light Weapons, Range Weaponry)

Natural Intelligence: Increase natural intelligence. This would increase the race's research speed, comprehension, logical thinking, etc. ]

`We decided to choose Master's of Magic for the obvious reason that Magic is a very wide field. So having this would mean an increase in talent for all of those fields.'

'Now for the Master's of Weaponry which is simply increasing the talent in two selected fields. We chose Light Weapon as the stature and strength of elves is not that high while Range Weaponry is obvious as this is also a very wide field like magic such as archery, gunmanship, etc.'

'Lastly, Natural Intelligence. Little Yue insisted on this one which I immediately agreed after hearing the reason and potential of this. She said that this would allow great thinkers to be born in the empire which would mean an increase in talent in almost all fields since the mind is one of the greatest weapons a person needs. This would include military strategies, law making, research, alchemy, etc.'

"This is quite a line up, don't you think Big Brother?"

"Of course. Especially since my Little Yue thought of it." Avery teased which caused his sister to blush.

"Nn..n..No! It's you thought most of it, Big Brother!" She cutely exclaimed.

"Fine. Fine. It's us who thought of it. Anyway, let's continue."

The magic is 9 points higher compared to Humans and even normal Elves would only have 10 points of magic. The intelligence is also quite high, usually the Intelligence stat of Elves is on the same level as humans. Looks like those traits also affect the stats."

"Nn.." She nods, surprised by the disparity of the stats

"Where do you think we should place the points?" Avery wants to know the opinion of his sister.

"Hmm. I think we should place more points on Magic."

"You're right since we will be heavily dependent on magic this time."

'This time?' Little Yue notices the slip up, confusing her. But she decides to focus on the situation at hand.

"Then we should put half of the points in Magic."

"Okay. Then we should put 2 on Agility in order to strengthen our specialty, then 2 on constitution while the last point on strength. This should hopefully alleviate the weakness for a little. What do you think of Yue? Are you okay with this?"

"Yes. It should be good."

"Hm.. That's good." Avery hummed in delight.

Little Yue then proceeds to imagine the ideal image for both male and female versions of the race.

What appeared on the screen was a beautiful and handsome Elves. They had silver hair and royal blue eyes. They looked very similar to Little Yue and Avery's Appearance. Though the siblings looked much more beautiful.
