New System Functions
After sleeping for about three hours I finally got out of bed and start looking for something to eat. Inside my house was a kitchen, a living room, three bedrooms, and a meeting area, after exploring the house I go into the kitchen and find some fruits and vegetables. Although I'm not the biggest fan of vegetables I'm not going to complain since I didn't help any farming and picking them and it would be extremely rude to do so. After eating, I walk out of the house and start looking for some villagers to start talking to, I see a woman in her mid thirties outside sweeping of their porch.
I walk up to her and ask "Hello ma'am would you mind talking with me about the village and villagers?"
"Of course, after all it's the duties as the starting villagers to help the player understand the game." She replies. " Lets start with the village, as the player you have access to the building menu which as you can guess allows you to add or demolish building in your cities and later on in space. There's not much to say with the villagers, they are just normal people you can interact with daily and sometimes give you quests but those are rare since the gods want you to forge your own path."
"Thank you this helped me understand the village aspect better"
"Once again it's our duty" After saying that she resumes sweeping.
After walking down the road I see a market that is set up with villagers selling their wares. I wonder how they settled in so easily, if I got picked to be a villager for some random guy from another planet I would be pretty freaked out. Maybe the old man can give me some answers, I start asking around and find out that he's currently supervising the building of the lumber mill that is outside of the town. After walking for about five minutes I arrive at a cleared out field with twenty huge guys lugging logs around like they're made out of Styrofoam. I see the old man telling them to put the logs in the inventory space (Random villagers can put materials in but only high ranking builders can give permission to put them to use when building structures).
I walk up to the old man and ask "Does the wood generated by the hut go straight to the village inventory?"
"Indeed it does my lord, are you happy with your house?" He replies.
"Yeah although it's a little big so I don't know what to do with all the extra space"
"Don't worry my lord I'm sure you'll find something or someone to fill the space up."
"Maybe I probably won't have a lot of free time to pursue relationships right now but possibly later, but I'm going to start cultivating again old man see you later"
"Good bye my lord"
After walking back to my cave I sit down and as I'm about to start meditating I remember the black pill that was in the bag. I rummage through it and pull out the black pill, without of thought I eat the pill. "Ahhhhhhh" I scream there is a pain all through out my body and it doesn't seem to be letting up, I soon fall unconscious. After an unknown period of time I wake up to feel invigorated and full of strength.
A new system prompt appears "Your dark magic affinity has gone up to 200% as well as your added damage when using dark magic."
After reading the prompt I sit down and start cultivating. After cultivating for a while I stop and look at the XP bar, and see that I'm halfway to being an Human Rank 2 mage. Excited to test out my new powers I head into the forest to find some wild animals to practice my abilities on. After walking for about half a mile I see a monkey sitting up on a tree not to far away from me. I open up my status sheet to see what spells I have .

.After looking at my spells I decide to cast dark bolt at the monkey and see what happens. I shout dark bolt and feel the mana coming to my finger tips before releasing a bolt of pure darkness. It sails through the sky and hits the monkey dead in the chest.

I look at my status sheet to see what changed.
