Chapter#5 : Surprise

It had been a month since their wedding day and Daniel hadn't confronted her yet . He even didn't go to meet his grandparents. He didn't know why he was avoiding her but he was just not ready. After he left her at the mansion door, be felt void in his heart. Wherever he went whatever he did in the past one month he just kept thinking about her. At some points, he just wanted to go back and hug her. He wanted to know how she had been doing all those years. These feelings were strange and new for him . But then he thought that maybe she was once his friend and his favourite uncle' s daughter. But he was just trying to give himself fake reasons. And he knew it. He wanted to hold her hand again like he did in the church. Her hand fit so perfectly in his. He himself was confused.

Liam William was his father's best. They were also business associates . He was like a best friend for Daniel too. He used to share a very strong bond with him . After Daniel left for college because he wanted to find himself on his own and wanted to live on his own at the age of 16 ,he left for the other city .He didn't want to use his father's name for survival.

Most of his old friends were lost but his relationship with Liam William remained same.

Suddenly his office door opened and fuming Margeret came in. Again this slut, he was using her to reach his goal and to get his revenge . " Teach you employees to show some respect to their owners."she said. " What happened" Daniel asked without looking at her." They told me to get appointment in order to meet you."she complained."ok ." He wasn't paying any attention. " Ok? So it's ok with you.what am I to you. Tell me ."she demanded angrily. Daniel sighed and spoke in fake sweet tone." O come on ! You are my friend . I will deal with them later . You must relax ." She smiled." Am I only a friend to you." She said approaching him." We could me something more than that." She said seductively and sat Infront of Daniel on his working desk. This ugly woman . "What do you want to be." He asked her calmly. " Maybe lovers." She said . " I am married." He stood up from his chair ." And you know that then why are you insisting on becoming a side kick for me. " Daniel wanted to ask her why are you such a slut with no dignity. She only saw money and wanted money . Nothing more , nothing less. Daniel thought.

He was standing near the window looking out at the world . A hand was placed on his shoulder. She turned him to face her. " Because I love you." And I trust your lie ofcourse . Daniel said in his heart. " Ok we will talk about it later. I have some work to finish."

As he was about to turn and go to his chair again. She grabbed his arm and pulled him to her." What nonsense." Daniel asked angrily."if loving you is a nonsense then call me stupid, if wanting you is non sense then call me idiot or insane whatever you want but please give me a chance." She pleaded ." Leave me first." He said but she tightened her hold on his waist while he was trying to remove her hands . "No, say yes first." He glared at her . Couldn't she see that he was uncomfortable." We can talk about this at lunch." He dismissed her and freed himself .

But suddenly she again pulled him back. "Tell me do you love your wife. Do you have feelings for her. Does she satisfy you ? Tell me . Does she have a model like body. I have . All the men out there want me. Don't you want me or you are not a man." She smirked and raised her brow at him at the end . How dare her. Didn't she know that nobody messed with Daniel Walton. Before he could reply her . She slammed her lips on his. He just wanted to puke at the moment.

The door opened and he pushed her away with full force. She fell on her butt.' owww' she screamed . But he couldn't move his eyes . He was under a spell. At last, his longings had been answered . There she stood ,her blue - green eyes were casting a magic upon him . Her long brunette hair with red highlights looked so mesmerising that he couldn't take his eyes off. Her parted full lips looked so inviting . Wait why was she shocked? And what was she doing here? She looked beside Daniel but he couldn't even move. He was paralyzed by the most beautiful creature standing right infront of him. He didn't believe that she was a human. She looked like an angel fallen from heaven . But what were that water drops on her cheeks.....she was crying. But she looked damn cute with teary eyes. Was she in pain . Daniel got panicked and his train of thoughts broke. He tried to move towards her when a hand stopped him. He looked towards the source of disruption angrily. Not this woman . He got it ,she saw him in a very compromising position with that whore. Margeret smirked . " Looks like your wife has catched us." He gasped at Margeret's words,'wife'. The word came as a whisper from his mouth . He again marched towards her . But she shook her head in negative and ran out. " Kaya ,Kaya." He called his assistant. She came out of her cabin ."who was she." He asked her. His staff was looking at me curiously . At this moment he didn't care about anything else .

" Who sir" Kaya asked him ."The lady in brown frock." He replied quickly. " Your wife sir , I am sorry I didn't inform you but your grandpa called me and ordered me to let Mariposa Maim in without any queries." She informed Daniel. 'Mariposa','my wife' . So she was the one .The girl who was the owner of his heart, was actually his wife. He was such a fool . He didn't know what to think at that moment. And what to do . Margeret approached him. " O come on Daniel, she is nobody to you . You told me this yourself right . " He glared at her and left the office hurriedly.
