1 Misunderstanding

"Sir this is our final year together of school. So we want to go for a picnic together." We said to our teacher. As that was our final year in school teacher can't deny us. The teacher said, " okay you all decide on the picnic then I will submit your plan to head office."

The teacher left after giving his approval to us.

We were excited about the picnic. "Where to go? When to go? What to wear?" we started to plan all these things.

I am Sofia. I was a really shy girl till the end of school. I didn't even know the name of half of the boys in our class. I was quite good at math and computer. I didn't have any rivals till that time. Everyone was quite good with me.

There was another guy named Rohan. He was the topper of the class and the number one playboy. He used to change his girlfriend every week or month. He was quite popular among all the friends in our class.

I didn't know what happen between the girls and that boy Rohan. Every boy's decision was depended upon Rohan's decision. Every girl was afraid to ask Rohan about the picnic. Then I said," I will talk to Rohan about the picnic." I was nervous but went to talk to him.

I asked him " We are planning about the picnic. Do you have anything or expectation in your mind for a picnic?" He just only replied in 2 words full of attitude and left. His reply was " NOT INTERESTED"

I was furious thinking how a single person can destroy the whole plan. I thought he behaved that way as he was given so much attention and support from our classmates. He didn't even think about what we will feel after his decision.

In conclusion, we can't go to a picnic due to a lack of mutual understanding between classmates.

I wanted to break his attitude. He was good in all subjects but was overly confident about his talent in computer subjects. So I decided to compete with him on the computer. "I will make sure to score higher than him in the upcoming midterm," I said to myself and devoted myself to study.

After 2 months

I successfully score higher than him scoring the highest in the class. He didn't even know that I was secretly competing with him.

Whatever but

I was satisfied and started focusing on our upcoming final exam without any feeling of revenge.

Our exam preparation started. Everyone was focused on their studies.

After 2 months, our exam started.

We both were in the same class but didn't even say hello to each other. I was average in every subject but quite good in math than Rohan. I finished my exam paper of math 1 hr before the time to end. So I was helping my friend without any fear. I noticed that Rohan was stuck in few questions but didn't dare to ask me.

Result day

Three students scored the same highest marks and I wasn't among them. But Rohan was among them.

Orientation class of our first high school. And I and my friends were about to enter the class. There comes Rohan speaking politely," Are we again in same class?"
