"Kudo!!" Haibara Ai held Kudo Shinichi's unconscious body while trembling in fear.

She was utterly confused and her eyes begun to water. It seems like her tearducts have opened seeing the body in a split second.

"N-no.. this isn't happening, please- open your eyes." Even her voice was shaking in an unfathomable scenario.

Ai's little body tried to hug Shinichi.

She was merely watching Shinichi who was happy due to the fact that he's with his true form and was going to meet Ran but then in just one dangerous moment- when they completely let their guards down, this happened.

It happened.

Shinichi was shot in the head by some random drugged criminal who just passed by.

Ai still can't believe it, she at least thought of the worst case scenario like this that the black organization might cause - not by just some random crazy criminal! A lowlife criminal!

"Missy, dont cry-- You'll be with onii-chan too sooner or later." The criminal creepily smirked at her as he raised his gun and pointed at Ai's head.

Haibara Ai just stared furiously at the man in front of them, the man who caused all these chaos.

"Damn you.." She said while she gritted teeth in anger.

"Damn you!!" She shouted as tears finally starts falling in her eyes.

A defeaning noise of a gunshot reverberated in the area.

Then that was the last thing Haibara Ai heard.
