Housewarming Party II

When he saw her in beast skin, she looked like a goddess, the sun was behind her, its rays coming lightly from her hair, her face looked radiant when she smiled at him.

"Hey Nolan, Good morning", he did not answer, he kept staring at her, as if she would disappear in case he dint see her. Jasmine couldn't help but chuckle at this dazed Nolan.

She saw somebody coming their way, so she said, "Thank you husband, you took care of everything for me, you are so good to me", and she winked and hugged him. 'Badump' 'Badump' ,'Badump''Badump', his heartbeats got faster, hearing this, her heart followed suit and Both of them blushed. They were lost in the hug, no one ready to break, Jasmine who was always clear headed, somehow did not want to leave this warm hug. When Nolan saw Mike coming towards them with a knowing smile, he let go of her. And started grinning.

Mike, couldn't help thinking, 'The honeymoon period is the best part of marriage, no wonder Nolan looks like a fool'.

Nolan was the first to greet Mike, "Hi mike, I thought you would come with the whole family".

"They will come here soon, I was outside,So I came first", he looked at jasmine and smiled at her,"Hello I am Mike , I am a Lion ". Nolan introduced her , "she is Jasmine, my wife, from Monkey clan". Jasmine was about to say,'hello I am jasmine, a monkey', and giggled at this. Nolan gave a puzzled lookout kept quiet.

Soon Lisa came , sitting on an eagle, which was, well, huge, biggest jasmine ever saw. She was gaping at their entry, Nolan who saw her like this, was getting jealous. He tapped her on shoulder, and said "Close your mouth, flies can enter". She quickly closed her mouth and glared at him.

Jasmine then saw eagle turning into a human, a handsome male specimen, although she wanted to squeal and gasp and shout, she did not. YES! It's her first time to see a transformation, she was awestruck. To make sure she looked normal, she looked elsewhere and 'tried' to act normal, chanting, 'this is normal','this is normal' mantra all along.

Lisa who saw Jasmine gaping at her entry thought that, she was looking superior and felt rather happy and flattered. Since beast men talk very less, most of them see the expressions of the other party to judge and even converse. Thankfully, except for Nolan, no one saw her gawking at Ian .

( author's note: Nolan has already informed all the males and females to dress up and come, since his rank was higher, they had to comply)

After the introductions, both families headed to the dining table and were waiting for the next couple. Lisa,Mike and Ian felt this arrangement rather special, and were already impressed by the smartness of Jasmine. "I heard people from Monkey clan are smart, Now I am seeing it myself. The arrangements are great", jasmine mumbled a Thank you at this remark.
