No Idea!

In the walkway of a big high-school building, Emily strolled through, quietly. She had her headset on as usual. She had just walked out of a chemistry class. The walkway and the entire compound was quiet and empty as all the students were in different classes. She hummed a tune, her eyes closed when she felt a slight tap on her left shoulder.

"Tap, tap, tap" she jerked back to reality. She looked around to see that she was still in class, chemistry class.

"Stop sleeping!" Andrea whispered.

She yawned and adjusted herself on the seat. She looked around, and everyone seemed to be focused on the white board and what the teacher was teaching, of course excluding herself.

"So, I said something about Cracking and Reforming, who can in

their own words define cracking?"

The teacher asked, as she adjusted her big medicated eyeglasses. The students were still as quiet, facing the board like no one had just made a statement.

"I recall throwing a question!" she said, and then murmurs could be heard amongst the students. It was obvious Emily wasn't alone in the chemistry fever, but she was in not being able to pretend.

"If no one answers the question in the next five seconds, I will choose who will" She said, pacing from one end of the classroom to the other, and the students continued urging each other to answer the question.

"Five..., four..., three..., two..., one"

"Don't pick me... don't pick me... don't..." Emily whispered, with her

eyes closed.

"...Emily!" the teacher finally said.

"Oh man!" Emily exclaimed in frustration.

"Up! And answer the question" The teacher ordered, and Emily stood. The other students sighted of relief that they weren't the ones chosen. Emily stood, thinking about the answer. She recalled trying to read her chemistry textbook once at home, and tried to put the words together to form a meaningful sentence as the definition.

"I think it is the breaking down on heavier hydrocarbon molecules to simpler..."

"Forget about that definition, define Reforming" the teacher cut in.

Emily's eyes widened in confusion and frustration. Just when she thought she had redeemed herself, and she definitely had no idea what Reforming was.
