A glimpse of the unknown. VI

"Aargh!'' Cyrus yelled as Dylan cleaned his bruised tummy with a wet towel.

"That Jerk" he mumbled.

"What jerk? I'm happy I found someone who can finally stand up to you" Dylan confessed with a frown.

"You're crazy" Cyrus mouthed.

"What did you say?" Dylan asked, daring him to repeat.

"You are crazy" Cyrus said much louder

Dylan dipped the towel in the hot water and pressed hard on Cyrus' body. Cyrus groaned in pains.

Emily stood at a corner of the room, lost in thoughts. Her mind was so distracted that she wasn't aware of her brothers little fight.

"And here we are..." Shania announced, spreading her arms wide as she spun.

"Wow, this is amazing" Archer exclaimed, with a wide smile on his face. He walked into the little hut, scanning it with his eyes. He nodded satisfactorily.

"It's amazing cos I made it myself" she praised herself. Archer shook his head in awe, still admiring his sister's handwork.

"If not that I had to force you out, would you have been here admiring this?" She said again, staring at him.

He chuckled, before his eyes went up.

He tilted his head to the left side.

"But something is missing"

"What's that?" she asked, following his line of sight.

"Oh... the roofing..." she said, nodding.

"We need palm fronds, and I know where to get them" Archer said.

"Okay" she shrugged. He walked out, and in again.

"Aren't you coming?" he asked.

"Nope" she replied

"Alright"

"Be quick, and don't get lost"

"I will, and I won't" he yelled from the outside.

Shania exhaled, and paced around the hut. He smiled, as her eyes caught her wooden seat. She walked out, and stared at the outside view for a while.

She was about walking back in when a hand grabbed her from behind, and another hand covered her mouth. She shook violently, trying to find her way out of the being's grasp, but immediately the hand went off her mouth, she felt a wet towel on her nose.

When she inhaled, she felt her eyes closing, before she passed out.

The person in the hoodie whose head and face were covered perfectly by the cap lifted the girl, and put her on his shoulder, and walked away.
