Chapter 2 Beware of Black

Haibara Kaito, who returned to his sea to get his bag, saw the three important roles of the book 'Detective Conan'. Sonoko, the shorthaired girl with a headband was the first to say," You're magic is so amazing!, You're so handsome just now when doing magic, unlike the certain reasoning idiot here which is not a good thing."

Hearing this, Kudo Shinichi who's just being silent, suddenly shouts like a cat whose tail is being stepped," What did you say!! You're the one who's a nympho idiot."

"I'm sorry about them, they are at odds with each other since a kid." Mori Ran said with an apologetic expression on her face, "By the way, my name is Mori Ran, that girl is Suzuki Sonoko, and the boy is Kudo Shinichi, nice to meet you."

Haibara Kaito saw their interaction and he felt a hint of envy in his heart, because of the system, he can't truly interact with others, it only changes now that the tutorial is finally finished.

Haibara Kaito came to this world as a baby 18 years ago.

After he got his code name, her mother Vermouth teach him voice changing and disguise, that's why he also started using Osamu Dazai's face as a kid. After that, he also learn academics in the organization while still taking tasks which led him to meet Miyano Shiho.

A year later, when Haibara Kaito tried to communicate with Miyano Shiho, they both got a warning. So he tried to find some other methods which leads him to sacrifice half of his synchronization progress to pause the time and get the couple ring.

After he made that promise, he focus all his attention on doing tasks, to take back the progress that he lost which leads the FBI to suffer under his hands.

Another 2 years later, when Haibara Kaito is 10 years old, his first template is complete and he got a reward which is a skill with a function of every time he commits suicide, he won't die no matter what.

He thought he was strong enough and every time he encounter danger, he swallow the prepared poisons in his teeth which can count as suicide, and trigger the skill so he won't die no matter what. Haibara Kaito tried to destroy the largest base in the United States and rescue the Miyano Sisters but then he discover that he can't seem to kill or even interfere that much with the important members like Curaçao, vodka, etc.

and every time he tries to rescue the Miyano Sisters, it all fails due to some coincidence.

After Haibara Kaito thought that there was no hope, the system said that he can interfere after the tutorial is completed. So he focuses all his energy on completing the tasks. He quit the organization and the system arrange him an identity as an orphan in an orphanage with a disguise as L Lawliet.

For the whole 5 years, he works for the FBI and become the strongest detective in the world by solving deadlock cases and destroying dozen of black organization bases ( he's the one who pinpoint the location and also command the agents to achieve a perfect plan ). After the template is complete, he got L's Laptop as a reward which can get any information as long as it is on the internet. Then he quit ( put a resignation letter and disappear) the FBI and start the last template by becoming Kaito Kid.

Haibara Kaito got an identity from the system as an orphan whose neighbor is Detective Delon. All it took is 3 years to complete the synchronization of Kaito Kid because he had already mastered the disguise and voice change. After all of it is done, he moves to Japan and waits for the plot to appear.

"Haibara-kun, Haibara-kun!?...."

"Kaito!!!"

Haibara Kaito who is immersed in his thinking is taken aback by the sudden voice and looks ahead. He found that Mori Ran, Suzuki Sonoko, and Kudo Shinichi are looking at him with weird eyes.

"Ah Le?, What is it?" Haibara Kaito who's embarrassed by the situation asked while scratching his head.

" Kaito-kun, where do you live?" Sonoko replied with full of enthusiasm.

"Well, I live below the Mori detective agency." Haibara Kaito said while being slightly taken aback when she called him by the first name and when he looked to his side, he saw the word Mori detective agency.

" So you're the new tenant, my dad said," Ran said

After saying goodbye to each other, we returned to our home respectively.

The next morning

Haibara Kaito got up late, so he hurriedly wash his face and brush his teeth.

He made a sandwich with blueberry jam and peanut butter so that he can eat breakfast while walking.

When he left the house, he saw Shinichi being scolded by Ran for waking up late.

"Inspector Megure need my help for some case last night, so I lack some sleep," Shinichi said.

"Case again, why do you even solve a case in the middle of the night!" Ran replied with an angry expression.

"Good morning Mori-san and Kudo-kun."

When they are about to continue arguing, Haibara Kaito waved at them.

"Haibara-kun, good morning, let's go to school together!" Ran replied.

Kudo Shinichi next to Ran has a wary expression on his face, and he seems to think that I deliberately approach Ran, with other motives.

Haibara Kaito who's being stared at by Kudo Shinichi couldn't help but have to make it clear, " Okay Kudo-kun, I know that Mori-san is yours and I won't rob it to you, so please don't look at me like that."

When Kudo Shinichi heard what Haibara Kaito said, his originally wary look turned into a red tomato, and couldn't help but said.

" We..w.we are not like that!!" (2x)

Kudo Shinichi and Mori Ran said at the same time.

" Ohh, what a perfect pair." Haibara Kaito said with a wicked smile and I flick my clothes to instantly changed into a priest costume and said, " Please kiss the bride."

When Ran heard this, her face is so red like a boiled tomato, and she let out a punch that form a hole in the wall.

On the way, Kudo Shinichi and Mori Ran walked side by side while still having a blush on their face, while Haibara Kaito is behind them, thinking of Shiho Miyano and he couldn't help but smile.

Mori Ran who is silent at the front saw this smile and couldn't help but asked.

"What are you thinking that made you have that smile?"

"Well, just remember something happy."

Haibara Kaito replied.

When Shinichi found that the embarrassing atmosphere is gone, he asked his doubt.

"By the way, Haibara-kun, your disguise is so good, where did you learn it from?"

Mori Ran who heard this also remembered that disguise technique, and couldn't help but become curious. " That's right, Haibara-kun, You're so amazing!"

Haibara Kaito who heard this, remember his mom Vermouth, whose age is unknown, and smile. Although they may be bad people, it's still his parents after all, even though we don't have that much parental interaction. But he can't say it now because his current identity is an orphan, so he said,

"Naoko-san." Haibara Kaito said, and when Naoko turn to face him, he flipped his hand and give her a white rose that suddenly appear and said with a charming smile " White is beautiful, it represents cleanliness and innocence."

Naoko who suddenly heard this blushed and received the flower while sniffing it into her nose. When she was about to say thank you, he suddenly remembered something, arrange her sitting posture, and shouted to Haibara Kaito who's backed at his sit.

"PERVERT!!!"

When Haibara Kaito heard this, he turn to Naoko and said with an innocent expression. "What do you mean? I just want to say that your lucky color is white."

While chatting with Naoko, he suddenly heard Sonoko say something that made him stop.

"Wow, You're going to have a date with Shinichi in the Dorabica Paradise today?!!"

Sonoko shouted.

Ran who heard this suddenly blushed, "Sonoko!!"

While Kudo Shinichi on the side muttered to himself while blushing, " That bastard, Sonoko."

Haibara Kaito who heard this couldn't help but be stunned.

Today?

So that means I can get my reward today?!

While trying to calm down, Haibara Kaito turns to Kudo Shinichi and tease him with a wretched smile."Yo, Kudo, Did you use your reasoning to conclude that you finally have to confess?."

"What confess!!" Kudo Shinichi retorted and said." I just promise to accompany her to the amusement park if she won the karate competition, that's all! I'm just doing what I promised, nothing more!."

"Well, I can't believe that the famous detective is a tsundere, obviously he likes it, but he won't admit it." Haibara Kaito said with a sigh while looking at the window," What a fuck up world"

" Who's tsundere!!" Shinichi replied, " And what does this have to do with the world being fuck up."

Haibara Kaito didn't reply and just keep looking at the window with a smile. After thinking for a while, he turned to Kudo Shinichi and said.

" Naoko-san's lucky color is white..
