4 Preparations 1

Lilian Mo got out of her space. It was easy to do. She only needs to think about exiting or entering. It was almost as easy as breathing and didn't prove any challenge unlike her other abilities, fire and earth, and consequently, magma.

Lilian Mo's body was still shaking and trembling from the pain of cleaning her bone marrow. Her bones were being fortified and broken repeatedly to strengthen them. It was a painful cycle but in truth, it only lasted for half an hour.

When she was back in the real world, she immediately made plans to prepare for the apocalypse. Because the old Chen couple left her quite a lot of money and assets, it gave her enough capital to prepare stocks and supplies for the incoming end of the world.

The apocalypse was just around the corner, two months to be exact, and Lilian Mo didn't have much time left. She had to purchase supplies quickly. She also needs to train her body so she would be prepared for the battle against the mutants.

She grabbed her phone, stuffed her credit card and wallet inside her bag. She donned a jacket and placed a bonnet on her head then a face mask.

Lilian Mo did not bother contacting the Chen family. She has also exhausted everything for that family in her past life. She even begged Lu Jingren before to help them so they would have a safe place inside his base and wouldn't have to worry about any danger of encountering mutants.

She lost count of the number of times she begged and pleaded before he finally agreed to his request.

Lilian Mo's feelings were rather conflicted towards him right now. On one hand, she wanted nothing to do with him because of what she experienced in his hands but on the other hand, she also wanted to forget about their past and move on. The Lu Jingren of the present time hadn't met her just yet and if she were to separate with him, they wouldn't have to go through all of those problems and misunderstandings again.

Lilian Mo didn't ponder about it anymore as she got in her car and drove to the nearest supermarket.

She calculated all of her money and assets that she inherited from the old Chen couple. Including the other properties and land as well as the money, she has about a net worth of 80 million yuan.

Lilian Mo smiled bitterly. If she were to spend all of it in one go and the Chen family found out, they would naturally come knocking down her door, screaming and demanding for her to cough up the money that the old Chen couple gave her.

"You're not a Chen!" They would tell her.

"You have no right!"

"You're just an orphan. "

Lilian Mo shook her head. She would probably spend all of it anyway. She was no longer scared of them and didn't owe them anything. They didn't care about her at all and it was the old Chen couple that she owed, not them.

When Lilian Mo arrived at the supermarket, she called for the staff to assist her and to drag over some carts. Although the staff was very curious why a young girl like her would need so many carts, the staff still did their duty and didn't ask questions.

With so much money on her hand, it was so hot that she could feel herself being filled with vigor as she eyed all the rows and rows of commercial goods, begging for her to buy them.

Lilian Mo didn't hold back. She bought 200 kilograms of rice and millet each then, 100 kilograms of various vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, leeks, mushrooms, cabbages, radishes, etc. She did not forget to buy some dairy, meat, and eggs. After that, she practically bought one-third of seeds each of various fruit trees that the whole supermarket can offer before she headed to get household products.

Lilian Mo ignored the shocked eyes of the staff trailing behind her as she placed pots, spatulas, and many kitchenware in the carts…She also bought herself a lot of cooking oil and spices. As a foodie, Lilian Mo will not deprive herself of good food, especially when the world was nearing doomsday.

It wasn't easy at all to get any hot or cold food during the apocalypse. Now that Lilian Mo had these resources, she wouldn't treat herself shabbily or allow herself to starve. Surviving on biscuits or instant noodles alone is a no-go for her.

With people fighting over food during the apocalypse, she naturally has to stock up a lot of things. In two months' time, all her money would be useless and would be no different than paper so why not use it when it's still valuable?

Lilian Mo glanced at the staff behind her and the mountain of carts.

"Please add more carts. My family is big. I was sent to stock up." She purposely made her voice louder so the other customers could hear her. They were too surprised to say anything. You don't always see a girl coming to the supermarket to hoard supplies...

'Though I want to warn people about the incoming catastrophe, who would believe me? I'm a sixteen-year-old girl who hasn't even graduated just yet.' Lilian Mo thought.

Although she died at the age of twenty-three, that was still considered young. In her past life, she used to wish that she could have finished college and get a diploma so she could have at least one thing to be proud of as a human being.

But alas, the apocalypse came and all her dreams and hopes vanished.

Lilian Mo didn't dare to daydream anymore.

She moved to grab a lot of toiletries and skincare products.

Shampoo, soap, moisturizers, facial cleansers, alcohol, hand sanitizers, tissue..ugh... This is a must-have during the apocalypse where people were forced to use leaves to wipe themselves.

She also bought herself some sanitary pads. She did not want people to see her bleeding in her pants during the apocalypse just because she didn't have access to sanitary pads! That was the same as walking out naked...

With renewed vigor, she dumped a lot of items in her cart and moved into the clothing section.

She grabbed herself all sorts of clothing that were suitable for all types of season. She especially bought herself a mattress and comforter because the weather in the apocalypse was random.

There were times it was cold and there were times it was hot. Sometimes the weather would be so unbearably cold at night that even though it was summer, it was like winter had dawned upon them.

There were also times when the weather was so hot it was liking walking at the dessert.

Water was an extreme necessity in this case.
