34 Free Yet Dangerous Life

In her past life, Lilian Mo met Lin Fang at the age of 19 after escaping Lu Jingren. He was 30 years old which makes him eleven years older than her.

Still, they became good friends and treated each other well. With his good looks and important role in the base, he naturally received a lot of affection and importance from others.

He was also the target of many beauties and would always end up being pestered by female suitors everyday.

Lilian Mo could still remember the nightmarish days in which she was mistaken as his girlfriend and was accused of seducing him just to get on his good graces. It was horrible being framed because rumors easily floated among the people, she experienced a lot of bullying and name calling.

If it weren't for the fact that she has an ability, she would have never escaped unscathed.

Lilian Mo shuddered. As great as Lin Fang was, she did not want to be his girlfriend just so she could experience being tortured by his admirers again.

"I don't understand what Dr. Fang sees in you. Just a little girl who isn't even a woman yet!"

"She must have seduced Dr. Fang! This bitch dared to use that ugly face to make Dr. Fang fall for her? I'm embarrassed for you!"

"She has no shame! Tch. Go take a piss and look at your own reflection! How can you even compare yourself to Dr. Fang and stand beside him?"

Lilian Mo turned and shifted, driving the awful memories away. At least when she was with Lu Jingren, she had never suffered facing with a jealous woman even though it was only because she was well kept and locked away from prying eyes.

She sighed. No matter what, she would still end up thinking about that guy or remembering the times she spent with him. Maybe because those times they shared had been her everything and was a constant of her life for three long years but she could never forget them.

It wasn't easy to be locked up for three years and facing only one man who was not even a conversationalist. She barely saw any other people and if there were any, it would be the people he trusted the most in his group.

Even still, she was not allowed to converse with any of them due to Lu Jingren's jealous nature. The first time she talked with another man, he was so angry that he started to beat that person up, not caring that it was his teammate.

Lilian Mo was horrified by his actions and since then, she was forced to ignore everyone that came unless Lu Jingren allowed her permission to talk to them.

With that kind of life, no matter how well fed and sheltered she was in the apocalypse, she would turn crazy from the isolation. Thankfully, the heavens heard her prayers and gave her the opportunity to escape.

Her escape signaled the start of her free yet dangerous life.

Lilian Mo cleared her thoughts after reminiscing the past. In the end, she decided to enter her space after not being able to sleep.

She checked her warehouse and browsed through the numerous goods stocked inside. After achieving Level three, the warehouse and space had expanded and was able to accommodate more plots for her farms.

She managed to breed her animals especially her chickens and got herself a daily supply of eggs everyday.

With three gluttonous companions, her work was never easy but it was also rewarding since the bright smiles on their faces was enough to wash away her fatigue.

With so much free time inside the space, she decided to train and exercise. The time inside was 1/10 of the time outside so even though hours have passed inside her space, time barely passed in the real world.

After her tiring activities, she took a shower and drank a bottle of clear spring water. Her body instantly became refreshed and rejuvenated. The fatigue and tiredness disappeared despite the fact that she had trained for hours.

Lilian Mo decided to take a few warm clothes from the warehouse after noticing that the weather outside had started to become cold.

It would seem that another ice season was approaching.

After gathering the clothes she needed for the cold weather, she exited and went to bed.

The next day, four people gathered outside an armored marauder, surrounding it. All of them were wearing thick coats, winter gloves and scarfs around their neck to protect their bodies against the chilly weather.

Snow had piled up on the ground, amassing overnight.

Amidst the snowy winter land, a tall and slender figure opened the driver's seat and entered the marauder.

The three others followed and entered inside. The couple were in the passenger's seat while Lin Jiaojiao was sitting beside Lilian Mo who was on the driver's seat.

Lilian Mo stared ahead with expectations.

"This time, we're heading to City B."
