Chapter 3: The Legendary Hellish Quest

The most exaggerated was a girl who was a little farther away from him.

  Looking as if she had the appearance of an eighteen year old, she only had 4 points of Physique, 5 points of Strength, and 53 points of Spirit.

  Subhealth isn't even that dramatic.

  So much so, that the game's comment to her, is: you can't even beat the old hen at the village gate.

  "Doesn't do much damage and is extremely insulting."

  Once Elon had seen all of them through, all of these people finally came back to their senses as well.

  They started by sizing each other up.

  It's been nine years since the horror game came out, and they're all people who've seen it live.

  So not acting too flustered.

  Many eyes, in the end, fell on Elon.

  Not only because he was the most handsome of the guys, but more importantly, he was carrying a bag of groceries in his hand.

  The look, like he just came back from the food market.

  "Strange, I can't find this little brother's live room."

  People who were watching the live stream noticed the oddity.

  "Could it be that he's not a newbie, but is here to hand out quests?"

  "It could also be a character from the mission."

  Since they couldn't find Elon's live stream and couldn't see Elon's stats, they just took Elon as a character in the game.

  "But why are they in the middle of nowhere?"

  "As I recall, there are no quests that open in the wilderness within the newbie quests, right?"

  Many viewers couldn't help but contemplate.

  There really doesn't seem to be one that you've seen that opens in a wooded area.

  Is this newbie quest, a wilderness survival?

  "No!"

  "There's one!"

  A very striking pop-up slowly floated by.

  "The one that no one has ever been able to pass, the legendary hellish newbie quest ..."

  Saw this pop-up.

  The memories of all the spectators were jabbed violently.

  Out of nowhere, the most horrible newbie quest rang out, three years ago!

  That mission where no one survived the first night!

  It was the viewers who were watching the live stream who had no idea what was going on, that night.

  Just remember one player, who suddenly went crazy and killed all the other players.

  Then the mission failed.

  "No way."

  Some viewers couldn't help but gulp.

  "It can't really be so unlucky for them to meet this certain death mission."

  Right about this time.

  A cold and hoarse voice suddenly appeared in the ears of the crowd.

  "Main quest: survive for three days."

  "Side quest: save the Inuyasha village."

  "Rules of the game: if someone can survive past three days, the game is over, and the higher the number of tasks completed and the more players survive, the better the rewards."

  "If all players die within three days, the game ends."

  "Note: Death in this game will result in permanent death."

  Hear the voices.

  The faces of those present, all changed violently.

  Even though I was prepared for it, I still feel scared now that I know that I will die permanently.

  Especially those who are watching the live stream.

  All of them were scared white at the sight of this mission.

  "It's really that hellish newbie quest!"

  "My god, how are they so unlucky to open with this stupid mission."

  "It's over, let's have an early moment of silence."

  The legendary quest that no one has survived past the first night, and no one has been able to pass to date.

  It was some of the game masters who had said that this quest was unsolvable.

  How do you fix it when a player goes crazy on the first night?

  You still don't know who the crazy one will be.

  "What now?"

  The girl with the bad stats asked in a whispered opening.

  The others were silent, pondering what to do next.

  Only Elon said, "Of course we're going to find Inuyasha's village first."

  "It's in the middle of nowhere, and when it gets dark, there's no telling what's going to be in this forest."

  The crowd's eyes immediately fell on Elon.

  TONY pushed his glasses up with his middle finger and nodded in agreement, "Yeah, we need to get out of here first."

  Hear that.

  It took the others a moment to notice that they were standing on a forest path.

  There was a fork in the road ahead and a thick fog behind it.

  The fog was still slowly approaching.

  It's forcing them to move forward.

  "In my opinion, we're going to have to split up."

  TONY analyzed the situation and said, "Split the men into two groups and meet here in half an hour."

  The others looked at each other and felt good about this method.

  People in the live stream also sent pop-ups saying.

  "This TONY player is nice."

  "It's amazing that you can analyze so calmly on your first mission."

  "I wouldn't have been able to come up with something so good if it had been me."

  TONY nodded in satisfaction as she saw the reaction of the others.

  But as he prepares to divide the players, Elon's voice rings out beside him.

  "It's almost dark, are you trying to get yourself killed by dispersing your personnel at this time."

  Elon said.

  "What?"

  TONY's brow furrowed in a sudden frown, and she looked at Elon with a displeased expression.

  "Do you have a better idea?"

  He had just reveled in the sense of accomplishment of dominating others, but he didn't expect to be suddenly interrupted by the man in front of him.

  "Can't say better."

  Elon said, "Let's just say it's more normal."

  "There's strength in numbers, you should understand that."

  "It's very dangerous to disperse a limited number of people in a completely unfamiliar environment."

  "So there should be seven of us moving together."

  "If we're all going to walk for half an hour and then turn back, why don't we walk forward together for half an hour?"

  The dispersal was to be a half-hour walk, followed by a turnaround and rendezvous.

  Walking together, too, for half an hour, then turning around and going the other way.

  "Consume the same amount of time and then be safer."

  "It saves more time if you go right all at once."

  Elon knows this kind of plot all too well, it's played out in horror movies all the time.

  Once it's scattered, it's Hulkbuster to the rescue of Grandpa - one by one, it's sent.

  TONY was dumbfounded, unable to think of anything to say in rebuttal.

  The pop-ups went straight up in the live room.

  "This munchkin is even better, he analyzed it so well."

  "He's calmer... distraction is a big no-no in the game."

  "Wonderful, this method is even better!"

  TONY felt her face rolling a little, that solution she had just thought of was a crap solution compared to what Elon had to do.

  "Which way do we go?" He asked.

  Elon glanced at the fork in the road.

  While he was thinking about it, the system's voice suddenly sounded in Tatsuo Feng's mind.

  "Mission update successful."

  "Current mission: traveling to the Liu family."

  "Please follow the quest guide to the Liu family."

  The next second, Elon saw an arrow appear on the ground, pointing straight down the path to the right.

  "You actually have navigation?" Elon said to the system in his mind.

  "All the time."

  The system said, "It's just that you didn't unlock it."

  "Not only do I have navigation, I also highlight some of the key items for the quest, and some of the traps that can be interacted with."

  Elon said in a serious voice, "Actually, you could have unlocked it yourself earlier."

  System: "..."

  Elon said to them, "Take the right."

  "Why?"

  TONY asked immediately.

  "Or else go left?" Elon asked rhetorically.
