Slaves to morality

"It seems we'll be leaving soon," Odin said as he appeared next to the woman she opened her eyes and stood up her realm kept rising even after she stopped cultivating.

"Yes, it seems I'm quite interested in what is above." the woman said as she looked at the roof of the abyss.

"It also seems you've gained some new weapons?" she said as she looked at the two scythes on his back one was longer than the other having red glowing runes on the handle and blade.

"No, I've had them for a long time this rune-covered one is apathy and this black one is empathy." Odin showed them to the woman the black one was shorter than the rune one but looked more as if it was made to dig than to attack. Odin slashed the rune-covered scythe and its handle split releasing a chain that kept the blade and the handle connected with the other half of the handle.

The scythe moved around without Odin moving it slashing at the air causing small tears into reality showing the full emptiness beyond the abyss.

The scythe soon put itself back together and Odin put the two scythes on his back. Odin flashed and returned back wearing a hooded robe looking out into the abyss with a smile.

"Let's go back to earth," Odin said as he disappeared the woman soon joined him. The two spears looked at them before the older one realized that time had been stopped.

"First stage of half transient?" the older spear asked as she looked at the woman.

"Yes." the woman replied.

"Well, that's that now I must say I am tired even though I just slept so let's rest for a few ok?" Odin said as he collapsed on the bed and fell into sleep in an instant.

The sun rose on the horizon illuminating the world in it's natural light and warming the earth. Looking at the ball of light Odin yawned and got up before waking out of the room.

"You bastard what the hell did you do!" James shouted as he ran towards Odin omega looked with amusement.

Odin released a small amount of his energy and James fell down to the ground the immense pressure put on him made him grit his teeth as he tried to lessen the force on him.

'Even as an immortal ascension realm I can't withstand this power!' James thought as he used his energy to lessen the force. After the battle with a true immortal James had gone to many places to boost his strength. rising from the heavenly God emperor realm to the immortal ascension realm in a month.

(the divine realm is above the mortal realm or above mortal ascension the realms that are in the divine realm are Heavenly prince, Heavenly king, Heavenly God, Heavenly God-king, Heavenly God-Emperor, and Immortal Ascension)

A normal immortal ascension cultivator could destroy something the size of Russia but as one taught by true immortals he was stronger than many ascension cultivators. At full power, he could destroy the entire African continent and a little more.

When he first trained with Odin after reaching this realm he lost the pressure was too much and he couldn't do anything. Now facing it again he felt it was much stronger thinking of how the true immortals trained him he felt that Odin was probably stronger than the true immortals.

These thoughts had been seeding his belief that Odin was a survivor of the age of gods or maybe even the slayer of the gods. During the return of the gods and the attack of the demons he fought on earth most of the time but as an immortal king he traveled the universe and had seen what true immortals could do.

Just a sway of their clothes ended countless universes but even they were no match for the demons and the kings of the multiple hell palaces. Even his soul that still was at the immortal king realm couldn't resist Odin which made him both happy and sad.

He had a teammate that was strong but also he knew he himself was weak and still couldn't fight against most of the true rulers of hell.

'Leave the kid alone you did cause a mess at the border even now there is a lockdown on cities." omega said as he swiped his hand and realized he couldn't control the energy around James.

Odin dismissed the energy and then walked up to the rest of the group. With the new increase in strength and his species personality in him, he couldn't control his power. He just wanted to stop James not turning him into a pancake and also his nu and erasure dragon bloodline made him more aggressive.

The nu was considered to have the purest essence of humanity having hate and cruelty in their every cell. They killed many species on a whim they and the dragons of erasure slaughtered many beings. By the time of their falling, only a trilllionth of the races were left and now the last living weapon had awoken.

"I got the information already," Odin said as he took out a document. And handed it to Samantha while also sending it to her implant on her brain.

After flipping through the document in a few seconds she confirmed both the data on her implant and document were the same. She soon split her consciousness to analyze the data as she walked with the group.

"Thank you but I thought we were to meet him today?" Samantha said as she looked at her notes.

"Yea but I decided to just meet him early and interesting enough he was a friend of mine from a long time ago."

"Really he never mentioned it?"

"Yea knew him since he was a little hatchling," Odin said as he walked.

"But Yi Xiang is a few hundred some years how old are you?" Samantha asked James started to pay more attention.

'Is that what he is saying a few hundred years old what a joke.' Odin thought.

"You know you shouldn't ask a woman her age," Odin said as he formed into a young lady this form of not answering the question confused the group except Serena bob and omega.

"Illusion magic but there's no magic around you that means your a shapeshifter as well!?" Samantha yelled at the sight of another class.

Odin smiled as he transformed back a large grey scaled tail appeared on his back.

"You know I've met many beast-men on this world and some had tails they could fully control but not once did they use it in combat why waste a valuable tool?" Odin said as the tip of the tail turned into a hand.

"Look if you can make extra limbs use them a man with many arms is scarier than one with two," Odin said as his upper back was covered in arms and his lower was covered in tails with hands.

"Like if I walked up to you as this would it not intimidate you I can use forms of combat you couldn't imagine?"

"But don't you need to have the mental capacity to control the many arms?" Samantha said as she looked at the fifteen new limbs.

"Well, a simple nascent soul cultivator can do this so I don't see a problem?" Odin said as the limbs faded away.

"Cultivators is that another class?" Samantha asked.

"Uhm yea even James has it did you not know?" Odin said.

"He never told us?" Samantha looked at James questioning.

"Is the cultivator like those ancient myths?"

"Yea."

"The ones from China and stuff those that could fly and use some type of energy?"

"Yup but they weren't just in China they were all over the world just called different names," Odin said as he entered the plaza.

"In Europe, they were called magicians or wizards or demi-gods or gods in Africa it was shamans same for the Americas in Antarctica they wee called nanairic or those that come from heaven and in Australia they were known as the lost gods."

"During my adventures, I've never found records of cultivators in other places but I guess that I was looking for the name and not the actual people," Samantha said as she looked over her memories.

"The age of gods was mostly erased in many ways by either whatever ended the age or by the people of today to separate them from their spirituality," James said

"But why?" Samantha asked.

"Because if you follow a sense of morality it is harder for the government to control you even if you didn't believe in a God you still believe in good but it is also these morals that will keep us trapped."

"As long as good and evil exist we shall be slaves no matter if we decided to abandon morality."
