Domain and promises

Sitting on the bed Sigewulf looked at the spear he was lost in his thought the feeling of death was something weird, to say the least. One second he was staring at his murder and the next he was in a twisted reality.

It felt as if he was there for ages he saw many different beings that looked like demons try to consume him but each time they did a black mist would protect him. Now that he thought about it he remembered that it tried speaking to him but Sigewulf thought that it was his imagination.

Even if he played the memories again the mist spoke in an unintelligible language. Every time it spoke the space around him turned darker before he was revived everything became an absolute abyss. The last thing he heard the mist say was.

"Nightmare." at the mention of the words Sigewulf room became an absolute abyss a small green light appeared and formed into a map.

Sigewulf barely reacted to the situation and carefully inspected the map. The map was filled with small dots he thought it was a map of the galaxy but soon a voice told Sigewulf the truth.

"This is the map of the universe an ability the domain of nightmares has it shall be yours if you will help me." Sigewulf looked at the direction the voice came from and saw five red eyes looking at him.

Sigewulf looked at the figure and then turned his attention to the map. He soon turned back to look at the figure again and saw the five eyes right next to him. With his death, Sigewulf felt incapable of feeling fear or any surprise he calmly analyzed the features he could which were basically none.

From the way the eyes were positioned, he could tell it was an animal but that was it. He could not see any limbs or other appendages it was as if it was only the eyes that existed.

The darkness that consumed the room dissipated and Sigewulf saw the form of the figure. it was a wolf even without the darkness it consumed the light around it. the eyes were the only detailed thing he could see.

Sigewulf reached out and patted the wolf soon the wolf dissipated and entered his body. His system sent a notification that he had gained a new skill and title.

(the stat are added by him being a space marine and his cultivation a normal space marine has stats in the hundreds and foundation gives a 2x boost and golden gives a 4x boost qi gathering does give a 2x boost but I think he is a little too strong so I won't add it)

'you have seen the map so I won't explain much but it will help guide you dark mist shrouds you in a mist that blocks all most all damage.'

'Tears of denial is an attack based of your own anguish the more suffering you have felt the stronger it is it also gives you a chance at life but you will be severely weakened.'

'How badly?'

'In a numerical example basically 99%.'

'Then what is divine possession?'

'You can give me control of your body and I will fight you don't lose all control but you can't move or do anything yourself but in this state, my stats are applied to you.'

'Then can you take over my body and make me stronger and then pass it back?' Sigewulf said jokingly.

'I can but you must fulfill your side of the bargain.'

'But I never agreed to it you just gave it to me without me saying yes or no.'
