26 Hinata Sees The Light

Back at the training field, Kakashi was laying on his back, his face swollen like a balloon. He was very confused as to what had just happened. One second he was standing there, while the next second, he was on the ground, mounted by Hinata, and her little fists raining down on his face over and over. Each punch was infused with dense chakra causing her punches to feel like an iron pipe landing on his face.

And the culprit of his plight stood off to the side with a big satisfied smile on her face as she played with the bell in her hand while reading the book she stole from Kakashi with her other hand. "Girls can do this!?" Hinata's cheeks turned red as she stuffed the book into her clothes.

Kakashi got up and made his way over to Hinata. "Hinata, you did well but ummm.. My book."

Hinata gave Kakashi an innocent look as she asked: "What book? I didn't see any book."

Kakish gritted his teeth. He wanted to say that he just saw her stashing it away but kept his words to himself. His beating just now made him wary of this little girl. 'Well… I have already read it quite a few times, and there are no bad scenes in it besides holding hands and kissing. It is just that…. This particular book is all girl-girl relationships…. It was hard to find too…'

Letting out a dejected sigh, Kakashi sat down not too far from Hinata and pulled out another book from his person. As for Hinata, she didn't care that she just lied. She seemed to have awakened something inside her when she read the first page of the book.

"Haha! Kakashi, what happened to your face!?" Jiraiya yelled out while laughing.

"Jiraiya, what the hell are you teaching these kids? One is able to fight me with just taijutsu while the other seems to know my every action before even I do!" Kakashi really did not get how these two little monsters could come out of nowhere.

"Ah yeah, I didn't get a chance to warn you. Hinata is able to perceive your actions before you even know that you are going to make them. A kind of foresight, I guess you can say. Take a good look at her eyes. You will see that they are starting to change slightly from the normal Hyuga clan eyes." Jiraiya said while waving for Hinata to come over.

When Kakashi took a close look at Hinata's eyes, he was stunned to see a thin line of silver surrounding her iris that slightly glowed. "I see. Who knows about this?"

"Just you, me, the girls, and the Hokage. That is why I am using this particular training field, as it has a barrier to block outsiders from seeing in. The Hokage also has people in the surrounding area as well." Jiraiya would not allow others to see the two girls' abilities just yet. While they will not be able to hide it as they will be going to the academy soon, they can at least restrain themselves to a certain degree.

"I see. And because I will be watching after the girls while you are away, I am in the need to know as well." Kakashi put two and two together real quickly.

"Yes, plus I wanted to see how they fared against a sharingan. It also seems you benefited from this exchange as well." Jiraiya was talking about Kaskahi's new flash stop he created using chakra only.

"That I did…. Never fight little demons…." Kakashi said, rubbing his poor nose.

Jiraiya laughed and patted Kakashi on the shoulder before turning to the girls. "Now then. Yuki, everything should be fine now, right?"

"Mmm…. All clear." Yuki replied with a nod.

"Then, as a reward for both passing the test, I will teach you a summoning jutsu." Jiraiya had planned to teach both of them how to do toad summon jutsu but decided against it. He just could not see these two girls running around with a bunch of toads. So he decided to use a different kind of summoning jutsu that allows the user to summon a type of beast that best suits them.

Jiraiya reached to his back and pulled out two scrolls before handing one each to the girls. "This here is a jutsu that allows you to summon a beast closely related to your chakra. It will allow you two to summon a companion to fight alongside if you ever need extra assistance."

"Summoning Jutsu…." Yuki repeated these words softly. 'Rukia, Khione, do you know anything about summoning?'

[Summoning jutsu is a good thing. It does not enslave the summon. You will need to be recognized by the summon in order for them to fight alongside you. After that, any time you summon them, they will lay down their life for you.]

"I myself have never heard of any summons." Rukia answered. But her curiosity was piqued.

'Then I guess I will see what kind of summon I will be able to get.' Yuki was actually kind of excited. She had no idea who she would summon but she hoped it would not be anything too ugly.

Yuki looked over at Hinata and asked: "What do you think? What kind of summon do you want?"

"Hmm? I am not sure…." Hinata's cheeks turned slightly red. When she looked at the Yuki just now she suddenly remembered the page in the book she read. But she still kept herself calm. She had decided to hold off reading any more of the book until she was older and could understand it better. Until then she would make sure to put it away carefully so that it would not be ruined. But the first page she read with the two girls kissing will always be stuck in her mind from this day forth.
