Why can't I sleep?

It's been a crazy day I need to get some sleep before Mrs. Smith comes screaming again as I get into bed I hear arguing next door it sounds like a couple arguing but it was to muffled I couldn't really here what was said. There was a mixture of cursing and things being thrown across the room after about 30 minutes it stopped I was glad but also worried I tried not to think about it but it made me wonder what happened?

Sometimes I think that people just make up instantly but the way they argued it made me curious so I opened my door and looked out to see if no teachers were in the halls I walked to the door next to me but I was stopped by Chase.

"Hey why are you up this late you should really be in bed before Mrs. Smith comes." Chase said tiredly.

 "Um I-" Before I could finish Chase interrupted me.

"You came because of the arguing they were doing?" He said calmly 

"Yeah maybe but I was worried something may have happened to the girl because she sounded like she was crying." I say with a worried look on my face.

"Yea but Christen and Alex always make up I just came to get my toothpaste back" He says with a annoyed look it almost seems like he was not trying to talk to me.

"Oh well imma just go back to bed since it's not a problem" I say turning to my room.

"Ok well night and also maybe you should wear socks next time you know the floor might be dirty" Chase says laughing a bit.

"Noted but maybe you should wear a shirt" I say looking at his ab's but i was wondering how long does he work out?

"Ok well night" He says while knocking on the door.

I open the door to Ang sitting on her bed playing games on her phone. I walked to my bed and got under the covers Ang was staring me down with a smile on her face.

"I saw you talking to my brother out there" 

"W-what we- I- never mind "I say as I lay down
