"Billy!" I shout, he turns my way then a smile meets his face as he starts to walk toward me.
As he nears me he extends his hand and I do the resulting in us dapping each other up.
"Dude, what has it been like 2 or 3 years?" Billy asks, Billy was my upper-classmen in high school.
The three of us went on a few recruiting visits together but this was before we were ranked so highly so it was lesser known D1 teams but still.
Billy looks to my right and sees Evan.
"Evan you finally grew facial hair?" Billy says making me remember Evan's constant complaints that no matter how hard he tried he couldn't grow facial hair, which makes me start to chuckle.
"Yea yea, laugh at the guy who couldn't grow facial hair until he was 18," Evan says.
Billy looks down at his watch and says.
"Oh shit, we gotta go, the game is starting soon." Billy says.
"What game." I ask.
"Softball, it's the girls' first game of their season." Billy says.
'Softball, wait is Jayda still playing, I wonder if they are still together? She played softball as well. She was that type of girl that was super athletic and super sweet always wanting to help people.'
"Wait Jayda committed to Oklahoma right?" Evan asks.
"Yep and they are kicking ass, they won the Women's College World Series last year and they are good enough to do it again." Billy says.
"But seriously we gotta go." Billy says starting to turn.
"Oh and Evan you have to wait a little longer for Ben Anderson, he is a long snapper, he's good people." Billy says before leading me through the door.
"See ya," I said walking behind Billy.
"Peace," Evan says.
...
Outside in the parking lot.
"Ok, how the fuck do I get one of these," I say looking at Billy's car.

"I got this one as a NIL deal with the Norman Dodge dealership." he says as we both get in.
'Damn, even the interior is clean I say looking up at the maroon ceiling and walls. Wait.... Did he say "this one"?'
"What do you mean this one?" I ask looking over at Billy.
He looks my way then grins.
"The better you play the more incentives you get I'll just put it like that. I can't say much." Billy says making me think.
Billy pulls out of the parking lot and starts making his way to the softball field which is only about 10 minutes from here, and the only reason it's 10 minutes is because of traffic, it honestly would've been better to just walk.

The ride went by fast, most of the time I was flipping through songs since Billy let me play my music.
As we pulled into the stadium I could see that the entrance was packed full of people.
Billy somehow finds a parking space, once he parks we make our way towards a side entrance.
As we neared the security kiosk area that is in front of all entrances Billy pulled out his phone and opened an app that had the sooner logo.
"Tickets" a girl in a yellow security vest shouts.
"Here, two student-athletes, he just arrived on campus today so he hasn't gotten his things yet." Billy says to the girl who nods her head and lets us walk through.
As we walk forward the cheering of fans can be heard, we continue to walk forward through a tunnel.
Once we exited the tunnel I got my first view of Oklahoma's softball field.
reminds me of a high school baseball stadium.
"There are some seats over-" Billy was saying but hot interrupted by a girl.
"Excuse me, sorry to bother you but can I get a picture?" the girl asks Billy.
Billy turns and looks.
"Yes of course." he says as she takes out her phone and takes a picture with him.
"As I was saying we will be sitting over there," Billy says leading me above the Sooners dugout.
We sit in the last seats on the front row.
I look at the clock and see it has 15 minutes left, in the right field the Oklahoma Sooners were warming up throwing the ball back and forth as well as doing ground drills. I look around for Jayda but can't find her.
"Which number is Jayda?" I ask when I couldn't find her.
He looks for a second the points towards the back of the group of girls.
"She is towards the back number 24," he says, I look and finally see her.
"She can't wait to see you after the game, or she used the words "Her Lil Guy." Billy said, and started to grin at my reaction.
I didn't hit my growth spurt until my sophomore year, so I was rather short and skinny until then, and Jayda never let me forget that I was shorter than her, of course she knows I'm taller than her now, it's just a little way to mess with me, she knew that it annoyed me then and that it bugs me now.
As I am looking at Jayda I see a shorter girl with her hair in two sets of braids going down her back, as I am looking I notice she is #9 which I thought was funny since that is my number aswell.
'Interesting.'
"Who is number 9?" I ask, while still looking at her.
"Oh 9, that's Olivia she's roommates with Jayda. She is the fastest player on the team." Billy says matter of factly.
"Oh yea?" I say, while looking at her doing drills.
Time quickly passed and soon the game started with Oklahoma batting first.
Out of nowhere the announcer started talking.
{AAAAAAAND FIRST UP TO BAT- OOOOLIVIA BAAAAAAKERRR}
As if on Que.
[Superhero (Heroes & Villians) With "Future" and "Chris Brown"]
Started playing.
As she walks up the music starts hyping everyone up including her, just from her body language you could tell she was feeding off of the energy.
After she gets to the plate, she starts her practice swing then the music stopped.
She stepped inside the box and then lifted the bat to her shoulder while she got into position.
"BOOMER!" Billy shouts.
*SOONER!* 90% of the fans here were Oklahoma fans so the entire stadium responded with Sooner.
"BOOMER!" he shouts again.
*SOONER* everyone responded again.
"Come on Liv you got this!"
"Eye on the ball!"
"Come on get on base!"
I heard multiple girls from the dugout shouting at Olivia to cheer her on.
Now that she was in her stance the pitcher also got into hers.
When she did I noticed Olivia's back foot almost twitching in anticipation, something I am extremely familiar with.
The pitcher begins her pitch and then.
*WOOSH*
*CLUNK*
"BALL!" I hear the umpire yell.
"GOOD TAKE!!!" everyone yells.
"Hey, what's a take?" I ask having never really watched a game, I just know the positions.
"When you let a bad pitch by without swinging." Billy answers.
Olivia gets into position again, and so did the pitcher.
Once again Olivia's leg was twitching in anticipation.
The pitcher began her pitch.
*WOOSH*
I watched as the ball sped though the air, then as if released from a canon I watched in what felt like slow motion, Olivia started her swing slowly twisting her body until she extended her arms resulting in the meaty part of her bat coming into perfect connection with the ball.
*BANG*
The ball soars to left field, Olivia wasting no time exploded out of the box and started sprinting around the bases.
As she turned first base I couldn't help but grin, she really was fast. As she rounded 2nd the left fielder just now grabbed the ball.
As the left fielder threw the ball to her cut-off man, Olivia was already rounding third.
"Shes going for home." multiple people stand up and shout.
The whole time cheers were erupting but now they were going crazy.
The ball reaches the cut off man at third as Olivia is already half way to home.
As soon as the ball makes it to the third basemen she turns and throws it to home, as the ball is flying though the air I notice it's starting to gain on her.
She dives hands first, she lands hard on the ground but slides through home right before the ball got there.
"SAFE!" the Ump Shouts and the fans erupt even I clap and cheer.
Olivia rolls over and stands up on her knees and drops her arms to her sides and starts to screamin celebration.

Sooners whipe the floor with Mississippi State.
...
"They should be over here." Billy says walking out of the stadium, we walk out of the same tunnel we entered in and as we walk out we see the girls in front of us.
There was a bunch of fans in a line getting all the girls to sign different things. Luckily there was a chain that was separating the girls and the fans.
We hop in line and luckily Jayda was first in line then right next to her was Olivia.
Soon we were next and as soon as Jayda finished signing the person in front of us she looked our way expecting to see another fan, but soon her smile grew.

"Aaaahhhhh" she screams while jumping in place gaining every ones attention in the process.
"Its Short shit!!!" Jayda says and I immediately jump the fence and start to chase her down while she runs away laughing.
As I was about to catch her she holds up her hands.
"I surrender I'm sorry." she says opening her arms and I immediately wrap my arms around her.
"I missed you, so has Billy even though he won't admit it he has been lonely without you and Evan." Jayda says pulling away.
Olivia POV.
"Hi can you please sign my hat." a young boy about 8 asks, I smile at him and grab his hat then I start to sign my name.
But as I do I hear Jayda scream beside me and yes it did startle me.
I look at her and see she has a huge smile and is running in place.
"Its Short Shit." she says, and not a second later a man I can only assume is who she was talking about jumped over the chain and started chasing her, it didn't last long and she gave up fast.
They start to hug, I look back at where he jumped and see Billy standing there with a smile. Which confused me because I know Billy very well and he never lets someone else touch Jayda.
They start walking back and soon they are right in front of me.
I look back at my hand and remember i have that kid's hat, I turn around and hand it to him quickly turning back around just in time.
"Liv, this is Billy and I's childhood friend Jaydee." Jayda says but quickly left us and joined Billy at the side where they started to kiss.
"I liked the game." he says.
"Aww, thank you." I say, as I notice his earrings.
"I like your earrings." I say honestly.
'He looks really good with them.' I think to myself.
"Thank Ya, Thank Ya, Thank Ya....I like your necklace." he says, motioning toward my necklace that was originally my moms.
I feel myself blush slightly, before I could thank him he spoke.
"What else you like?" he asks while gesturing at himself.
"What did you say?" I ask while laughing loudly.
"I said "What else you like?" he says and gestured toward himself again while smirking at me.
I grin and start to look him over again I unconsciously bight my lip, he is very attractive and seems to be in very good shape but what else do I like about him.
"I like your hair, it looks soft." I answer, I felt bold so I reached up to feel his hair because I was curious, as I was reaching he bent toward me a little bit which I was greatful for because I don't think I would've been able to reach the top of his head, he is quite tall.
When my fingers reached his hair it was a very satisfying feeling.

Jayda POV.
"Want to see if J and Liv wanna go back to the house and hangout?" Billy asks.
"Yeah, we can play that trivia thing you got." I say as I turn around to ask J if he wants to come but when I do I see Liv reaching up and feeling is hair.
"What did we miss?" I hear Billy ask.
