The Park

Every day I'm walking from our house to our school. Maybe it's because it's just a few blocks away or I want some exercise. But the truth is all of the possible reasons are not the purpose why I go to school walking. It's because there's a park near the school that I always passed by. That park is full of random people, children who play at the playground or playing with their parents, couples who are dating, friends who bond and having a nice picnic. But they don't know that there is a place in the park that was more beautiful because that place is really mysterious and it's not easy to find. But We Found it. The color of nature, the fragrance of air with the scent of the different flowers that bloom, the singing of birds that produce such a sweet melody, and the shining sun that gives light to this Paradise. We discovered it.

We Found our Kingdom. We always see each other here in this secret place. Every morning before going to school and every afternoon before going home. We also take care of this gift of God every day; every weekend we bond here . We make time for each other, we play, talk about random kinds of stuff, and talking about the future, our dreams, our ambitions.

Summer, the time when my family is planning to have a vacation, we discussed it in our living room. It was evening and I'm reminiscing about our adventure at the park. It really makes me smile like crazy but I can't help it...

****Flashback *****

Walking through some narrow and woody path going to the park, I am walking so fast like I was being chased by a horse or a tiger. Ugh! I can't help it I'm super excited. While walking, I felt a hand on my shoulder.. turned around and starts to smile. Who wouldn't? A handsome face with a smile on his lips and a V-neck T-shirt and simple pants. Simple but so handsome. Gorgeously Handsome.

We hurriedly walk and suddenly ran to our destination... But before we entered our so-called paradise, we stopped and look at each other. I looked at his eyes and smiled, he smiled back and held my hand before entering...

Then we ran to our very own treehouse that we built with our two hands. While I'm running, he is chasing me. And when he caught me from behind he kissed my cheeks. My face became so red like a tomato. He just pinches my cheeks and laughs at me. We rest awhile on the ground with many green types of grass and looked at the sky. Clouds forming many kinds of things like animals and many more. And we talked about random stuff, about the school, our family, and about US.

I really enjoyed that time but I was stopped from reminiscing when mom tapped me in my head. And talking about the vacation trip..... We are going to Palawan...

After many days, we are ready to set when he came... He looks so sad. I ran towards him and hugged him tight and kiss him on his cheeks. I asked him what's with his face.

"I'll miss you so much" And with what he said, I really don't know what to do but kiss him.

" I'll miss you too. Take care here when I'm gone okay? Three days won't be long " I cupped his cheeks

"But it is" then he pouted.

"I wish I can bring you with me but you're family needs you and you need to go to school sweetheart" he sighed because of defeat.

"Okay fine. you're right. Take care there okay? I love you "

"I will and I love you too " Then we shared our sweet kiss before we part ways.

We did many fun activities here in Palawan like island hopping, swimming, snorkeling, and going to different stores to buy souvenirs.

It's our second day today and we are scheduled to go to the underground river. It is one of the 7 wonders of the world and we are so excited!!!!

After the preparations and the time of our travel, we were finally here on the island. We wore life jackets for our safety before we enter the underground river. Our tour guide told us the history, how it was discovered, and lots more until we found many rock formations. He also said that there are some snakes here sometimes that gave me shivers on my spine. I'm really afraid of them. And after how many minutes, we actually are back outside the underground river.

We are here in our hotel ready to go to the airport. After a couple of hours, we finally arrived home. Yes !! Even I'm tired, I went to His house cause I really miss him so much!!! I really do. I rang their doorbell and her maids gave me a sad face. What's the meaning of this?

"Why are you all sad? What happened?" I approached them. And they explained everything. I didn't know what to do and went to the hospital. I don't care if I bumped many people. I need to see him. I hurriedly ran to his room and hurriedly opened the door. And I saw him lying in the bed. His parents are crying from his side. I went near him slowly. Every step that I took, pain is what I feel. The pain is getting painful every time I went near him. And at last I finally I'm beside him.

I hugged him so tight and cried out loud. I don't care if they think I'm crazy but, I don't care. It's so painful. Hugging your love, hugging him, hugging his lifeless body.

Days have passed, I really can't move on. Losing him was like living without purpose, Living with pain with your side. And living without happiness... without your life.... without your love...

My only friend is the park. I cried there for how many days. Slept there, eat there, and the park which is our paradise is my only memories of him...

One day, I'm spacing out in our treehouse and I blinked many times and pinched my cheeks. It's him. I hurriedly went down and ran towards him and hugged him so tight. I cried out loud and he just caresses my back then I looked at him in his eyes and he just smiled at me. He went closer to me, an inch apart and he kissed me. And I closed my eyes. After that kiss, I still close my eyes, he whispered.. "I'll wait for you, my love. I love you" Then when I opened my eyes, He's gone.

Since that day, I always do great things. I'm being a good student and a good daughter to my parents. Helping and doing charities and most of all I always take care of our paradise.

The park will serve as our memories. It will represent him for me. And the park is my inspiration for everything.
